We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, standing in the authority of Jesus Christ, the Name above all names, the One who has already triumphed over every power of darkness. Your struggle is not unknown to the Lord, and we stand with you in fervent prayer, believing that the same Spirit who raised Christ from the dead dwells in you and is greater than any force that comes against you (1 John 4:4).
The Word of God is clear: "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places" (Ephesians 6:12 WEB). What you are experiencing is real, but it is not beyond the power of God. Jesus Himself encountered many who were oppressed and possessed by evil spirits, and He set them free with a word. In Mark 9:29, He said, "This kind can come out by nothing, except by prayer and fasting." We take this to heart, knowing that deliverance is not only possible but promised to those who call upon the Lord in faith.
First, we must address the foundation of your relationship with Jesus Christ. Salvation is not merely a one-time event but a daily surrender to the Lordship of Christ. Have you confessed with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believed in your heart that God raised Him from the dead? If not, we urge you to do so now, for "if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9 WEB). There is no deliverance apart from the saving power of Jesus Christ, for He alone has the authority to break every chain. If you have already made this confession, we encourage you to reaffirm your faith and renew your commitment to walking in obedience to Him.
We rebuke every spirit of possession, oppression, and torment in the mighty Name of Jesus Christ. We declare that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and no unclean spirit has a right to dwell within you. We command every spirit that is pushing, manipulating, or controlling your body to leave now, in Jesus' Name. We speak to the spirit of fear, embarrassment, and social torment, you have no place here. The Lord has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We break every assignment of the enemy over your emotions, your mind, and your physical body. We declare freedom in the Name of Jesus, for "whom the Son sets free is free indeed" (John 8:36 WEB).
We also recognize that deliverance is not just about casting out spirits but about filling the void with the presence of God. We encourage you to immerse yourself in the Word of God, for it is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12). Meditate on Scriptures that declare your identity in Christ, such as Psalm 139:14, "I will praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well." Replace lies with truth, for the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10).
We pray for you now, lifting you up to the Father in the Name of Jesus Christ:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith, believing in Your power to deliver and heal. We lift up our brother/sister to You, asking that You would surround them with Your presence and fill them with Your peace. Lord, we ask that You would break every chain of oppression and possession in their life. Send Your angels to encamp around them, protecting them from every attack of the enemy (Psalm 34:7). We declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn.
Father, we ask that You would fill them with Your Holy Spirit, empowering them to walk in freedom and victory. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to stand firm on Your Word. We pray that You would heal their emotions and restore their confidence in You. Give them boldness to step out in faith, knowing that You are with them wherever they go (Joshua 1:9). We ask that You would bring godly believers into their life who can stand with them in prayer and encouragement.
Lord, we thank You for the blood of Jesus that was shed for our deliverance. We plead the blood of Jesus over every area of their life, mind, body, and spirit. We declare that they are covered, protected, and set free by the power of the cross. We ask that You would lead them into deeper intimacy with You, where they can find rest and restoration. Teach them to abide in You, for apart from You, they can do nothing (John 15:5).
We pray all of this in the mighty and matchless Name of Jesus Christ, the Name that every knee will bow to and every tongue confess as Lord. We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer and for Your faithfulness to answer. We trust in You, knowing that Your plans for them are for good and not for evil, to give them a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). In Jesus' Name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to seek out a local body of believers who can stand with you in prayer and support. Deliverance is often a process, and having a community of faith around you is vital. Do not isolate yourself, for the enemy seeks to divide and conquer. Instead, draw near to God, and He will draw near to you (James 4:8). Confess your struggles to trusted believers who can pray with you and hold you accountable.
Additionally, we urge you to examine your life for any open doors that may have allowed the enemy access. Have you engaged in practices such as occult activities, divination, or any form of idolatry? Have you held onto unforgiveness, bitterness, or unrepentant sin? The Bible warns us, "Do not give the devil a foothold" (Ephesians 4:27 NIV). If there are areas where you have compromised, we encourage you to repent and turn away from them. The Lord is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).
Finally, we remind you that your battle is not against flesh and blood. The enemy may seek to embarrass you or make you feel isolated, but God has called you to walk in victory. Stand firm in the armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18), and remember that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). You are not alone, and the Lord will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and walk in the freedom that He has already purchased for you.
