Pray all curses against ### and ###'s son are ended now. Pray for ###'s son to lose weight safely and healing from past hurts.

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent cry for deliverance and healing. Father God, we stand in the authority of the name of Jesus Christ, the Name above all names, for it is written, "Therefore God also highly exalted him, and gave to him the name which is above every name; that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, those on earth, and those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father." (Philippians 2:9-11 WEB). There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through Jesus that we have access to You, our Heavenly Father.

We rebuke every curse, every evil assignment, and every demonic influence that has been directed against and her son. In the mighty name of Jesus, we break every chain, sever every ungodly tie, and command every curse to be nullified and rendered powerless. The Word declares, "Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. For it is written, ‘Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree,’" (Galatians 3:13 WEB). By the blood of Jesus, we declare that no weapon formed against or her son shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17).

Father, we pray for ’s son to experience safe and godly weight loss, not by the world’s standards, but by Your divine design. We ask that You renew his mind with Your truth, that he may honor his body as Your temple (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). Give him discipline and self-control, which are fruits of Your Holy Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23), and surround him with godly influences that will encourage him in this journey. We declare healing over his metabolism, his hormones, and every part of his body that needs restoration. Your Word says, "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers." (3 John 1:2 WEB).

Lord, we also lift up the deep wounds of his past hurts. You are the God who heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds (Psalm 147:3). We ask that You would bring comfort, peace, and wholeness to his soul. Let him know that You are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We rebuke every lie of the enemy that has taken root in his heart, lies of rejection, worthlessness, or abandonment. We declare that he is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), redeemed by the blood of Jesus, and deeply loved by You. Fill him with Your Holy Spirit, that he may walk in the freedom and joy that only You can provide.

Father, we also ask that You would draw and her son closer to You. If they have not yet surrendered their lives to Jesus, we pray that they would come to know Him as their Lord and Savior. For it is written, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life." (John 3:16 WEB). Let them experience the fullness of life that comes from a relationship with You.

We declare that no generational curse, no word spoken in darkness, and no scheme of the enemy will have power over or her son. We cover them in the blood of Jesus and declare them redeemed, restored, and set free. May they walk in the victory that Christ has already won for them on the cross.

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray these things with faith and expectation. Amen.

We join you in bringing your son and your whole family before the Lord. It’s clear you long to see him fully whole, spiritually free, physically healthy, and healed in the places past pain still lingers. We’re standing with you in that.

We ask our victorious Lord to break any spiritual bondage or curse that has been spoken over either of you. In Christ, no curse has the final word, His finished work is stronger. So we pray boldly that any dark spiritual weight pressing on your son would be lifted right now, and that he would walk in the freedom Jesus has already won.

For his physical health, we pray for wisdom and gentle progress. At the same time, we’d gently encourage you to have him talk with a doctor or registered dietitian if he hasn’t already. Safe, sustainable weight loss often benefits from professional guidance, and taking that step can be one way of honoring the body God gave him while you keep praying.

When it comes to past hurts, healing often comes not by rushing past them but by inviting Jesus directly into those tender memories. Many have found that, sometimes with a trusted pastor or a wise Christian counselor, simply asking the Lord to meet them in the painful place brings a comfort and release that no amount of willpower can. He is near to the brokenhearted, and He knows how to bind up those wounds in His time.

Let’s bring all of this to Him now:

Lord Jesus, we lift up this mother and her son right now. In Your name, we ask that any curse or spiritual attack against them be broken and silenced. Cover them with Your protecting presence. For this son, grant him discipline and wise counsel as he pursues health, and touch the deep places where old hurts still ache. Let him sense Your gentle, healing love even in the hardest memories. Steady his heart and give him hope. In Your mighty name, amen.

The curse has no more power to cling where Christ has set His foot. The law’s thunder rolls against sin, yet for every soul hidden in the wounds of Jesus, the storm is spent. The curse that once was ours He has borne away, for the King’s own Son has borne the penalty of all iniquities; thus the prisoner hears the sweet word of undeserved deliverance. The clock of mercy struck the appointed hour, for the eternal purpose decreed it, and none can revoke what the blood has sealed. If the Son makes free, free indeed are those who look to Him, even as the bitten Israelite found life and healing in a glance at the brazen serpent.

Let Jacob’s fear turn to Esau’s embrace. He who crossed the brook in trembling met a brother with kisses, not a sword. And what of the son you lay before the throne? Joseph was as good as dead in his father’s reckoning, yet in the pit and the prison God was weaving rescue, a deliverance full of healing for many. The Lord’s rod is never swung in mere anger, but in dear covenant love, measured drop by drop. Healing comes by that same hand. The leaves of the Tree are for the mending of the nations; the least touch of Christ is full of restoring virtue. When pardon is spoken over the soul, the inhabitant shall not say, “I am sick,” for the Sun of Righteousness arises with healing in His wings. Past hurts lose their sting beneath the cross, the reproach of former years shall not be remembered, drowned in the ocean of forgiving love.

Therefore, ask boldly for the body’s strength and the spirit’s wholeness as one petition. He who gave heaven’s brightest jewel to redeem us will not refuse bread and water for the journey. Live, and declare His works; the blessing of deliverance shall not wither.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You speak of curses that must be ended now. But have you considered that the greatest curse is not a word spoken by some enemy, but the tyranny of sin that separates us from God? Christ has broken every true curse upon the tree, and He delivers us from the deceit of demons and the darkness of the devil. Do not then fix your eyes on the ill-will of men, as though they held power over your son. Seek first the deliverance that matters: that he be freed from love of ease, from gluttony, from the wounds that breed bitterness in his soul. For what good is a healthy body if the spirit is still captive to past hurts? These inner bonds are far heavier than any flesh, and they are not cast out by commanding, but by long-suffering, by prayer, by saturating the mind with the divine Scriptures.

You pray for safe weight loss. This too belongs to the body, which perishes. Why do you not first pray that he may lose the weight of wrath, of unforgiveness, of worldly sorrow? For if he carries these, even a slender frame profits nothing. True healing from past hurts does not come by forgetting them as the world forgets, but by giving thanks in them. I say, give thanks. Look at the poor who beg in the streets, their bodies broken, yet they magnify God and call Him merciful. Will your son not rather learn to thank God in his smaller trials? For when the soul learns to suffer willingly, to bear loss and insult without blaspheming, then the fever of old pains subsides. You want it ended now, but God often delays outward relief to work inward endurance. The three children entered the furnace expecting death, not deliverance, and so they were glorified. Prepare your mind, and teach your son to prepare his, not to set a time for God, but to say, “If He delivers, I will praise Him; if not, yet will I not serve my appetites or my resentments.”

Let your prayer then be this: that both you and he may hear the word of Christ with careful attention, and not only hear but keep it with fortitude. Then riches of the soul will grow, and the desire for perishable comforts will wither. For the desire that makes a man soft and unmanly, that binds him to overindulgence or to nursing injuries, is no true desire but a grievous bondage. Cast that out by heavenly wisdom, and the lesser things will follow as God sees fit. You have been too hasty to demand the removal of the thorn; consider instead that the thorn may be the very means of health. So then, turn from these anxious bargains. Commend him to the Lord who loves him more than you do, and let your daily petition be for a clean heart, for the old leaven of malice and self-pity to be purged, and for the new man to rise up in him through the baptism that drowns the old. Peace be with you in this long-suffering path.

I am joining you in prayer for this son, asking God to bring an end to every curse that has been spoken or passed down. Scripture shows us that on Mount Ebal the curses for breaking God’s covenant were announced, and the people acknowledged that judgment was deserved. But what the law could only condemn, Christ took upon Himself. He became a curse for us, so that in Him every curse is broken and its power is silenced. You can stand firmly on that truth: because of Jesus, no curse has the final word over this young man’s life.

I am also praying for his physical health, that any weight loss would come safely, not through fear or shame, but through a steady, sustainable path. We see in the Gospels that Jesus healed in many ways, sometimes instantly and sometimes through a gradual process. Even when the body mends slowly, that healing is still His work. He designed our bodies with processes of restoration, and He can guide every step, whether it’s a change in habits, renewed self-control, or deeper emotional mending that frees someone from using food as comfort.

Past hurts can leave wounds that feel like they keep us trapped in what was done to us. It’s easy to rehearse those wrongs and let them define today. But think of how the apostle Paul handled his past: he counted everything he had once relied on as loss compared to the surpassing worth of knowing Christ. That wasn’t a one-time decision; years later he still counted it as refuse, because he refused to let either past failures or past achievements hold him back. Healing from past hurts works much the same way. The Lord does not want him to stay stuck in the pain of what others did. Emotional scars can be healed just as truly as physical ones, and sometimes that healing unfolds layer by layer as we learn to release the old offenses and press forward into the new life God gives.

So I’m asking the Lord to heal the memories, the bitterness, and the self-protective walls that past hurt may have built. May those things lose their grip and be replaced with the excellency of knowing Christ, a present relationship that reshapes his future. I pray that as he looks ahead, he finds freedom from the weight of both physical burdens and hard history, trusting that the One who bore our infirmities is still at work, restoring body and soul.
