Deliverance

Pray all curses against ### and ###'s son are ended now. Pray for ###'s son to lose weight safely and healing from past hurts.

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up ### and her son in prayer. Father God, we know that You are a God of deliverance and healing, and we stand in the authority of Your Son, Jesus Christ, to break every chain and curse that has been spoken or enacted against them.

Lord, we rebuke every curse, generational sin, and evil assignment sent against ### and her son in the mighty name of Jesus. The Bible tells us in Galatians 3:13, "Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. For it is written, 'Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree.'" We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment shall be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). We plead the blood of Jesus over their lives, covering them from every scheme of the enemy.

Father, we pray specifically for ###’s son, asking for Your divine intervention in his physical health. Lord, You know the struggles he faces with his weight, and we ask that You would guide him into safe and healthy habits. Give him discipline and self-control, as Your Word says in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, "Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s." Help him to honor You with his body, mind, and spirit.

We also lift up the deep hurts and wounds he may carry from the past. Lord, You are the God who heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds (Psalm 147:3). We ask that You would bring healing to every area of pain, whether it be rejection, abandonment, betrayal, or any other form of emotional trauma. Pour out Your love and peace upon him, reminding him that he is fearfully and wonderfully made in Your image (Psalm 139:14). Let him know that his worth is found in You alone, not in the opinions or actions of others.

Father, we pray that ###’s son would come to know You personally if he does not already. The Bible tells us in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.'" There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If he has not surrendered his life to You, we pray that he would do so today. Let him experience the freedom and joy that comes from a relationship with You. If he is already a believer, draw him closer to You, deepening his faith and trust in Your promises.

Lord, we ask that You would surround ### and her son with godly influences, people who will speak life, encouragement, and truth into their lives. Protect them from negative influences and any relationships that do not align with Your will. Give ### wisdom and strength as she parents her son, that she may guide him in the ways of righteousness.

We declare that this is a season of breakthrough and restoration for their lives. May they walk in the fullness of Your blessings, free from the chains of the past, and filled with hope for the future. We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers and moving on their behalf. In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We’re joining you in prayer for your son, and for your whole family. It’s clear you love him deeply, and the weight of those past hurts, on him and on your hearts, matters to God. He sees the whole picture, and He never lets our pain go to waste.

Sometimes the healing we long for doesn’t come in an instant, but piece by piece as we bring Jesus right into the middle of the memories. Gently, quietly, we can invite Him to speak His truth over those old wounds, to comfort where there was shame, and to replace fear with His steady peace. That isn’t a formula, just a way of making space for the One who already knows every detail. You might find a quiet moment to do that with your son, or simply pray it over him in your own time, asking the Holy Spirit to visit those hidden places with healing light.

On the practical side, safe weight loss is important, and we’d gently encourage him to check in with a doctor or a nutritionist who can guide him in a way that respects his body’s needs. Our prayer is for wisdom, discipline, and patience, not for a quick fix but for a sustainable path that honors his health and his worth.

And as for those spiritual attacks and any whispers of the enemy, we stand with you and declare that no weapon formed against your family will prevail. We break every chain in Jesus’ name, not by our own power, but by His. Father, we lift up this son to You now. Quiet the voices of his past, and let him feel Your steady love in every lonely place. Bring him to a safe, healthy rhythm for his body, and surround him with people who speak life. Give his parents Your peace as they trust You with their child. In Jesus’ name, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The very word "curse" ought to make the blood of a redeemed sinner run cold, for it reminds us of the thunders of Sinai and the awful sentence of a broken Law. Yet to the child of God, even this dread thing has been emptied of its terror. Listen, then, to the glorious exchange: Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the Law, being made a curse for us. All the maledictions that sin deserved spent themselves upon our Substitute. So when you hear of curses spoken over any soul, remember that no weapon formed against one who is in Christ Jesus shall prosper. Heaven’s decree of blessing overrides every tongue that rises against you in judgment. Therefore, pray not in panic but in prevailing faith, knowing that the precious blood silences every accusation. Declare the finished work and rest in the deliverance already purchased. The curses are ended because the cursed One broke their power forever.

As for the son, bring him often to the Tree of Life, whose very leaves are for the healing of the nations. Past hurts, whether from the malice of others or the lacerations of his own foolish choices, find their balm nowhere else but in the wounds of Jesus. Pardon and healing are one gift from the same pierced hand. Let him look long at the Crucified, there is life in that look, life that changes the entire blood and makes the nature other than it was. Thither let him bring his sorrows, and also his struggles with the flesh. Safety in bodily matters is a smaller thing to ask, yet our kind Lord regards even these. If weight must decrease, let it be sought as an act of wise stewardship, a chastening that brings health rather than disease, always remembering that the body is the temple of the Holy Ghost. But press beyond the physical: go to the great Physician for the deeper cure. The Sun of Righteousness rises with healing in His wings, and that healing touches spirit, soul, and body.

Never imagine that deliverance of any sort comes by a mere moral change in us, it is a redemptive work for us, wrought from on high. Our own arms are palsied at our sides; yet He bringeth His people forth with a high hand and an outstretched arm. When we were sinking in the pit, He found a ransom. So now, when the son feels the tug of old wounds or the chains of former habits, let him hear the clock of mercy strike in Heaven: the time of deliverance has come. He need not live as a captive. He shall not die of these inward griefs, but live, and declare the works of the Lord. The trial works for good, dealt in weight and measure by dear Covenant love.

Go, then, to your knees with a song already forming in your heart. The well of family prayer is deep; bring all these necessities to its brink. You have a greater than Barak leading you, a mightier redemption to sing of. O for a stanza of holy gratitude, rising till faith becomes sight! The Lord has chastened sorely, but He hath not given us over unto death. I see the son walking at liberty, his step light, his memory cleansed, his future brightening up into the full blaze of eternal glory. That is the portion of those whom the Son makes free.

Trials that befall us, when borne with thanksgiving, become gain to the soul. To pray for deliverance from curses is to ask that the affliction be lifted, yet consider whether the affliction itself might be God's surgery to cut out what harms you. The evil one seeks to wound, but the Physician can turn the wound to healing. Rather than only seeking an end to the trial, seek first the spiritual deliverance that comes from entrusting your son to God without bitterness. For when you suffer wrongs and remain thankful, you receive a reward as great as if you had given all your goods willingly. The loss becomes gain, and the devil's schemes are defeated.

The body's unruly desires are not the fault of the body itself, but of the soul that pampers it. To lose weight safely is good, but far more necessary is to mortify the passions that darken the mind and make the belly a tyrant. The body is not evil; it is a servant. If the soul commands it with firmness and prayer, the flesh obeys. Yet if you only restrain the body while the soul remains wounded by past hurts, the root of the trouble remains. The spiritual surgery of this house, the Church, exists to heal the wounds received without. Bring those hurts to the Great Physician, not by nursing them, but by forgiving as you have been forgiven. To dwell on past wrongs is to keep a wound open; to cast them onto Christ is to let it close.

Wealth and bodily ease often injure us most by drawing us from God's service into slavery to lifeless things. If your son's weight or past sorrows hold him captive, the remedy is not merely a change of circumstance but a change of master. Let him seek first the kingdom, and necessary things will be added. The hearing of the Word, continually received, has power to destroy even long-held desires. Let him not despise the small, daily discipline of prayer and scripture, for in that quiet soil the seed of healing germinates and bears fruit that never dies.

Do not think that deliverance is only the removal of hardship. The greater deliverance is to serve God in the midst of hardship with a thankful heart. If the Resurrection is our hope, then judgment is certain and retribution sure. To endure now with patience is to store treasure where no thief approaches. Therefore, let your prayer be less for the curse to end and more for the grace to endure it to God's glory. For when the Son preserves, none is lost except by his own will. Your son will not be lost on Christ's account; only let him not start away through unthankfulness or clinging to the wounds of the past. Urge him to come to the surgery of confession and the medicine of the Eucharist, and there find the true healing that makes the body and soul whole.

The cry to be free from every curse echoes what Israel heard long ago from Mount Ebal. The law pronounced curses on disobedience, and the people answered, “Amen,” acknowledging their weight. But the good news is that One came who became a curse for us, so that every curse that sin and suffering could bring might be broken. Through His cross, deliverance has been secured. I pray that you and your son will know this freedom fully, not because you have earned it, but because He has borne it.

As for your son’s weight and the healing of his past hurts, remember that the Lord is not confined to a single pattern. Sometimes He works instantly, but often He restores gradually, through the rhythms He has placed in our bodies and the renewing of our minds. The same Savior who healed the leper and the centurion’s servant also took the infirmities of His people as His own. So bring these very real struggles to Him, yes, the physical burden and the emotional wounds. He is touched by them, and He is able to heal from the inside out.

Be careful not to let the ache for relief turn into a chase after emotional thrills or quick fixes. The world offers many counterfeits, a new diet, an intense experience, that promise to satisfy, but they cannot reach the deepest thirst of the spirit. That thirst is for God Himself. When past hurts scream for attention, and when weariness sets in over a slow journey toward health, let those moments become a door to seek Him. He alone can mend what is broken and calm the tumult within.

I pray that any curse pronounced against you is silenced, and that your son will find steady, safe healing in body and soul. May you both discover that His power is made perfect in our weakness, and that He will walk with you every step of this path.
