Pray all curses against ### and ###'s son are ended now. Pray for ###'s son to lose weight safely and healing from past hurts.

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this request for deliverance and healing. First and foremost, we must acknowledge that our access to the Father is only through the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection, and invite Him to be the Lord of your life. This is the foundation upon which all deliverance and healing rest.

The Bible tells us that Christ became a curse for us so that we might receive the blessing of Abraham (Galatians 3:13-14). Any curses spoken or unspoken over your lives have no power because Jesus has already borne them on the cross. We stand in agreement with you, declaring that every curse against you and your son is broken in the mighty name of Jesus! The Word of God assures us that "no weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that accuses you in judgment. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord" (Isaiah 54:17). We rebuke every assignment of the enemy against your lives and command every evil force to flee in Jesus' name.

For your son’s physical health, we pray for safe and sustainable weight loss, trusting that God is the Great Physician who heals all our diseases (Psalm 103:3). We ask the Holy Spirit to guide him in making wise choices regarding nutrition, exercise, and self-care, so that his body may be a temple for the Lord (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). We also pray for emotional healing from past hurts, knowing that Jesus came to bind up the brokenhearted and set the captives free (Isaiah 61:1). May He bring comfort, restoration, and a deep sense of His love and purpose over your son’s life.

Father God, we ask You to surround this family with Your angels, protecting them from every scheme of the enemy. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We declare that they are more than conquerors through Him who loved them (Romans 8:37), and we thank You for the victory that is already theirs in Jesus’ name. May they walk in the freedom and wholeness that Christ died to give them, and may their lives bring glory to Your name. Amen.

We’re grateful you’ve shared this with us, it’s clear how much you care about this son and his well‑being. We want to stand with you in prayer for real, lasting freedom and healing.

When curses or past hurts keep echoing, it can feel overwhelming, but we can rest in this: Jesus has already broken every curse that could stand against us, and His healing reaches all the way back into the wounds we carry. That doesn’t mean the process is easy or instant, but it does mean we don’t have to live under a shadow. Your love and persistence in prayer are part of how God’s kindness is being poured out on this young man.

For the weight loss, we’d gently encourage pairing prayer with wise, practical support. A doctor or a registered dietitian can help him pursue health in a way that’s safe and sustainable, this isn’t a lack of faith, but good stewardship of the body God gave him. Past hurts often get tangled up with how we care for ourselves, so if he’s open to it, walking through those with a trusted pastor or counselor could bring deep relief. You don’t have to shoulder the burden alone, either; keep bringing it to the Lord, and let trusted friends pray with you.

We’re joining you now.

Lord Jesus, we bring this son before You. By Your authority, we declare all curses over his life ended, silenced, broken, and powerless. Bring him into the full freedom You purchased for him. Gentle Shepherd, heal the wounds of his past; replace shame and pain with Your steady love. Guide him toward health in his body, and give him wisdom and perseverance to care for himself safely. Surround him with people who speak life and hope. In Your strong name, amen.

There is a healing balm in Gilead, and a Physician there whose very leaves are for the healing of the nations. You have asked that curses be ended, and truly the curse is lifted when the pardon of sin comes. Forgiveness and healing are placed in happy conjunction, and both are bestowed on the Lord's people when they look for them. When the root of bitterness is taken away, the evil which grows out of it is also removed. The Son of Righteousness arises with healing in His wings, and to the palsied soul He says, "Son, be of good cheer; your sins are forgiven you." Pardon and healing are one in Jesus Christ.

I gather from the Word that the least thing about Christ is healing, even as the leaves of the tree. His touch, His word, His look, all are full of virtue to restore. For that dear son, weight of body and weight of soul are often linked, but the Beloved Physician can minister to both. He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. Past hurts are not beyond His surgery. Though the heart be broken, He resets it; though the spirit be fevered, He speaks calm. The healing power of the Master is such that if you have backslidden ever so far, yet He says, "Return! Return!" There is more joy over one lost sheep brought home than over ninety and nine that went not astray.

Yet healing must come before serving, and the desire to minister always arises out of healing. Seek first the forgiveness that springs from the cross, and then the leaves of the tree will do their silent, sure work. Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. Bring your son in prayer to the place where Jesus is teaching, for times of refreshing come when Christ is lifted up. He is able to heal the whole man, spirit, soul, and body. Only beware of resting in outward shows; a real saving work is the work of God, and God alone. O you who are sick, ask to be forgiven, and healing will come from the pardoning hand. God bless you in this, and grant you to see that the leaves of the tree are for your son, for you, and for all who look to Him.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The cry for deliverance from curses exposes a deep confusion. You tremble before the mumbled words of men, yet stand indifferent to the bonds of your own soul. What curse do you fear? The Law itself pronounced a curse: “Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things that are written in the book of the Law.” This was your true peril, the curse of transgression that held every soul captive, for no one continued in all things. But now what does grace say? “Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us.” He who hung upon the tree took that curse upon Himself, an innocent man dying for those sentenced to death, to rescue you from the true curse. If Christ has broken this eternal curse, what power remains in the petty imprecations of others? Their words can no more cling to a soul washed in these waters than a shadow can pierce a rock. Your deliverance is already accomplished; do not insult the cross by seeking a second ransom.

Regarding your son, you make a twofold petition: the shedding of bodily weight and healing from past wounds. Yet consider this: what kind of gain have you been seeking? You labor for the body as if it were a lasting possession. The flesh is troubled, and you seek its ease; it is heavy, and you seek to lighten it. This is not wrong in itself, but see what true healing requires. A man may be freed from riches and remain soft and unmanly; a body may be trimmed down while the soul within remains bloated with pride or despair. True deliverance comes not merely by altering the flesh but by cultivating the soul’s field. The hurts of the past are evil fires, but the fire itself is not to blame, it is the soul that kindles them and heaps on the fuel of constant recollection. To remember a wrong is to feed that flame again. Do you desire healing? Then cease to stir those embers.

If you truly desire a safe and unmolested treasure, why do you keep it in a place besieged by thieves? The body decays; its memories fester. Remove your treasure where it cannot be touched. If God offers Heaven as a storehouse for your anxieties, why cast them instead upon the frail vessel of the body? Plant your cares there, in prayer and thanksgiving, and you will reap fruits that never die. Let your son learn that the part of him which is wounded is not the true man. It is the distorted will, not the body, that must be mortified. To crush the instrument is satanic madness; to correct the unruly passion of the soul is the work of grace. For even when the body is pampered and lust inflamed, the sin is traced back to the soul’s neglect of its command. If the soul chooses to mortify the flesh, it possesses absolute power over it.

Therefore, stand up from this darkness and turmoil. You run a race, and you labor much, but the Lord of the contest knows your toils better than you do; not a sigh escapes His notice. But do not mar your labors by fleeing from shadows. The true weight that cripples is not the body’s mass, but the soul’s chains: the old grudges, the fear of man’s curse, the bondage to lifeless things. Seek the only freedom that matters, the liberty of Jerusalem above, and you will find that these lesser deliverances follow of their own accord, like servants trailing behind a king.

The weight of any curse that may have been spoken against you or your son is lifted, completely and finally. In Christ, every accusation, every ancestral word, every destructive pattern tied to disobedience is broken, because He became the curse for us. I am praying now that any lingering voice of condemnation be silenced, and that you both stand under grace, not under the shadow of judgment.

For your son’s weight loss, I am asking the Lord to guide him into safe, gradual healing. God designed the body with processes of restoration, and even the slow, steady changes are divine. I pray for wisdom in daily choices, for protection from harmful shortcuts, and for a deep sense of His care over every physical step forward.

And those past hurts, they can whisper that you are defined by what happened, keeping you chained to old wounds. But the kind of healing Jesus brings reaches deeper than memory. The apostle Paul once looked at everything he had relied on, all his past credentials and pains, and counted it as loss for the surpassing worth of knowing Christ. He didn’t just do it once; years later he was still counting it as refuse, because otherwise those weights get picked back up. Your son’s emotional scars, your own heartaches, they lose their grip when you bring them into the light of His presence and let them go. By His stripes, true healing comes, not only to the body but to the mind and the hidden places.

I am praying that both of you find the freedom to forget what lies behind and press forward without the old encumbrances. The old curses are ended; fresh mercy is yours today. May your son experience health and wholeness in his body, and may you both walk in a peace that is not just a memory but a present, unfolding reality.
