Deliverance

Pray all curses against ### and ###'s son are ended now. Pray for ###'s son to lose weight safely and healing from past hurts.

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up and her son before You, Lord. We recognize that You are the God who breaks every chain, the One who heals the brokenhearted and sets the captives free. We declare in the mighty name of Jesus that every curse, every generational bondage, and every assignment of the enemy against and her son is broken right now. The Word of God declares, "Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. For it is written, 'Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree'" (Galatians 3:13). We stand on this truth, believing that through the blood of Jesus, every curse is nullified and every stronghold is demolished.

Father, we pray for ’s son, that You would touch his body with Your healing hand. We ask that You would guide him in a safe and healthy journey toward weight loss, not by the world’s standards, but by Your wisdom and strength. Your Word tells us, "Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s" (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). May he honor You with his body, seeking Your will in all things.

We also lift up the deep wounds of his past, Lord. You are the God who heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds (Psalm 147:3). We ask that You would bring comfort, peace, and restoration to every area of pain. Help him to forgive those who have hurt him, just as You have forgiven us. Let him walk in the freedom that comes from knowing You, for "if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed" (John 8:36).

Lord, we rebuke every spirit of heaviness, depression, or addiction that may be contributing to his struggles. We declare that he is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves him (Romans 8:37). Strengthen him with Your might, and fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).

We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus, the name above every name, the only name by which we can be saved. There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness and for the victory we have in Christ. Amen.

We are joining you in bringing these concerns before the Lord, trusting His kindness toward this mother and her son. The cry for deliverance, for physical health, and for deep healing all matter greatly, and we are glad you brought them here so we can stand with you in prayer.

As we pray, we ask God to break any power of words spoken against them, whether recent or from generations past. We see this not as a formula but as a simple reliance on the authority of Jesus, who disarmed every hostile power. So we speak against every curse, every destructive declaration, and every spiritual assignment that would hinder their freedom. In the same breath, we intercede for the man they love, for his body, his heart, and his history. We pray he would find a safe and sustainable path toward physical wellness. Because practical steps matter too, we encourage him to partner with a doctor or dietitian as he pursues weight loss, so wisdom accompanies his effort. And for the past hurts that still echo in his soul, we ask the Holy Spirit to bring gentle, lasting healing. We picture the Lord drawing near to those painful memories, not with a quick fix, but with His steady presence, untangling shame and replacing it with deep-rooted peace.

We do not know how or when answers will unfold, but we rest in the character of a God who cares about both body and spirit. We pray now, naming them before the throne:

Lord Jesus, we lift up this woman and her son to You. Silence every voice that has spoken harm over them, and sever every generational chain that would drag them down. Grant the son courage and patience to pursue health in safe, steady ways, and surround him with people who can help. Into the raw places of his history, speak Your comfort. Restore what was stolen, and give him a new assurance of his worth. Hold this family steady, and let them taste the freedom only You provide. In Your powerful name, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The very notion of curses that would bind a soul must fall before the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ. Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us. All the thunder of Sinai’s condemnation, all the venom of the serpent’s bite, was spent upon Him who bore our sins in His own body on the tree. There is therefore now no curse for those who are in Christ Jesus. The book of ordinances that was against us is nailed to His cross, and the handwriting of condemnation is blotted out. If the Son hath made you free, you are free indeed. Stand then upon this sure foundation, and let no whisper of the accuser cause you to tremble. The curse is ended because the Ransom has been found; God has invented a way of deliverance, and it is finished.

As for the sorrows that haunt the memory, the past hurts that gnaw at the spirit, know this: the inhabitant shall not say, I am sick. The people that dwell therein shall be forgiven their iniquity. Pardon and healing are woven together in the purpose of God. When Jesus heals the palsy, He speaks first the word of forgiveness. The Sun of Righteousness arises with healing in His wings, and the joy of being forgiven makes us forget the reproach of former days. The leaves of that tree are for the healing of the nations, the least thing about Christ has medicinal virtue to mend a broken heart and to bind up the wounds of a desolate past. Look to Jesus upon the cross, and find in His wounds your healing, and in His death your life. The bitterness of death is past; you are not called to relive what the blood has cleansed. Sweetly muse on mercy, not on terror, viewing grace as forever your own.

Concerning the body’s affliction and the desire for safe reduction of weight, see in this a chastening from the Lord, not in anger but from His dear covenant love. He doth not draw the bow at a venture; every trial is dealt in weight and measure. Sickness has often brought spiritual health, and this present burden may be the very furnace in which the dross is consumed. Yet the Lord who brought Israel forth from Egypt, not one feeble among their tribes, can also bring forth a wholesome frame from this bondage. Commit the matter to Him in the family prayer, where you may bring all the necessities of the household before God. He who delivers from the pit will not suffer one of His little ones to perish; His honor is engaged in your full salvation. Wait upon Him who alone can effect deliverance from the power of sin and from the infirmities of the flesh; for as you are justified through Jesus Christ, you must also expect sanctification from a heavenly source, even the indwelling Spirit.

Therefore, cease from the fatal folly of trifling with despair. The Lord has chastened sorely, but He has not given over to death. You shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord. After this season, rise to bear witness that loss has conferred gain, and that the hand which wounded brought healing. Only look to your heavenly Father altogether and alone; deliverance from the power of darkness is as much His work as deliverance from its guilt. He has delivered us, and He will deliver us yet again. May the clock of mercy strike the hour of full deliverance, and may the peace of God which passeth all understanding keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Amen.

The true curse is not some word uttered against your son, but the tyranny of the soul by worldly desires. You seek deliverance from curses as if they came from outside, yet what darknesses the mind most is the love of ease and the clinging to past wounds. The evil one delights when we blame outward things, but the real harm springs from a will that has not yet learned to despise the body's demands and to give thanks in suffering. Let your first prayer be that he hears the word with careful attention and stores it in a softened heart, for no enchantment has power where the fear of God has taken root.

You ask for his weight to be safely reduced, but how will this profit him if the soul remains bloated with the habits that caused it? To pamper the flesh is not an act of the body but of the soul that refuses to mortify its appetites. The body is not the enemy; a depraved will is. If you would seek healing for his body, strive far more that he cultivates fortitude and a contempt for the softness that enslaves him. The true loss is not in the body's size but in being drawn off from God to serve the stomach. Teach him to fast from indulgence and to feast on thanksgiving, and the matter of the flesh will find its proper order.

As for healing from past hurts, why do you speak as one who has suffered loss? To be wronged and to bear it with gratitude to God is to receive gain a hundredfold, far greater than Job's restoration. For if he can say amid the memory of his grief, "The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; I will not accuse His wisdom," then the very wounds become a treasury in heaven. But to keep rehearsing the injury is to hand the soul over to turmoil without profit, storing up bitterness for others and for yourself. Let him cut off the remembrance of these things even more readily than any bodily indulgence, and he will find a deliverance that no curse could ever touch.

When you cry out for curses to be ended, you’re touching something Scripture takes very seriously. On Mount Ebal, the law’s curses were shouted across the valley, and all the people had to answer, “Amen”, so be it. That’s the weight of sin and broken covenant: a curse that rightfully falls on disobedience. But what the law exposed, Christ resolved. He became the curse for us, taking the full penalty on the tree. So any curse, whether from words spoken over you, generational patterns, or the enemy’s accusations, is shattered at the cross. We can pray with boldness right now: every curse against you and ### is ended, finished, because Jesus bore it. Deliverance isn’t something we beg for as if it’s uncertain; it’s something we receive in Him.

For ###’s weight, we ask for healing that may come through the natural processes God designed. The body itself is a marvel of gradual restoration, and any true healing is divine, whether it happens in a moment or over months. We pray ### can pursue this safely, with wisdom and discipline, knowing his body is a temple. God cares about the physical, just as Jesus healed all kinds of sickness and even calmed material storms. He can bring balance where there’s struggle, and we trust that.

The past hurts, though, that’s a deeper wound. Too many people live destroyed by what’s behind them, replaying the wrongs, unable to rise above. But the only way past pain loses its grip is when we count it as loss compared to the surpassing worth of knowing Christ. That doesn’t mean pretending it didn’t happen; it means letting the excellency of Jesus reorder everything. Thirty years later, the apostle still said, “I count them as refuse.” The past no longer defines him. Whatever was done to ###, whatever scars he carries, God heals those places in our emotions and minds. Sometimes gradually, sometimes with a quiet word from the Lord, but always thoroughly. Pray that he’ll let go and press forward, not anchored to old griefs. In Christ, healing is both a gift and a forward-moving call.

We want to thank you for the trust you placed in us to stand with you in prayer for deliverance and healing. It has been our privilege to lift up ### and ###’s son before the Lord, asking Him to break every curse and release His freedom over their lives. We have prayed earnestly for ###’s son, that the Lord would guide him into safe and healthy weight loss, renew his strength, and bring deep healing to past wounds—both seen and unseen.

If you have seen God move in answer to these prayers, we would love to hear your praise report so we can rejoice together in His faithfulness. If the battle still feels ongoing, please know we are not finished standing with you. Post this request again, and we will continue to intercede, trusting that God hears and answers in His perfect timing and way.

May the Lord surround you with His peace and fill you with fresh hope as you press into Him. We pray all these things in the powerful and mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
