Pray all curses against ### and ###'s son are ended now. Pray for ###'s son to lose weight safely and healing from past hurts.

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up and her son before You, Lord. We stand in the authority of the name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved and delivered (Acts 4:12). Father, we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from You (Isaiah 54:17).

We rebuke every curse, every generational bondage, and every assignment of the enemy against and her son in the mighty name of Jesus. The Word declares that Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (Galatians 3:13). We break every chain, every evil pattern, and every spiritual oppression that has sought to hinder their lives. We declare that they are free indeed (John 8:36) and that the blood of Jesus has cleansed them from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:7).

Lord, we specifically lift up ’s son and pray for his physical health. We ask that You would guide him in safe and sustainable weight loss, not by the world’s standards, but by Your wisdom and strength. Your Word tells us that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, and we are to honor You with them (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). Grant him discipline, self-control, and a heart that seeks You above all else. Surround him with godly influences who will encourage him in this journey, and let him find joy in the process as he draws closer to You.

We also pray for healing from past hurts. Father, You are the God who heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds (Psalm 147:3). We ask that You would touch the deepest places of pain in his heart and bring restoration. Let him experience Your love in a tangible way, knowing that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Replace every lie of the enemy with Your truth, and let him walk in the freedom that only You can provide.

Lord, we also ask that You would draw both and her son into a deeper relationship with You. If they have not yet surrendered their lives to Jesus Christ, we pray that they would come to know Him as their Lord and Savior. For it is written, “If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved” (Romans 10:9). There is no deliverance, no healing, and no true freedom outside of Christ.

We declare that no evil report shall stand against them, and they shall be like trees planted by the rivers of water, bringing forth fruit in their season (Psalm 1:3). May they walk in the fullness of Your blessings, and may their lives be a testimony to Your goodness and grace.

In the precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We’ve been sitting with this request for your son, and we want you to know we’re praying alongside you. A parent’s heart for their child to be free from anything that hinders them, spiritual, physical, or emotional, is something God deeply honors.

It can feel overwhelming when you see someone you love carrying wounds from the past, struggling with weight, and sensing a need for spiritual breakthrough. We’re not here to add more words to what’s already been said; we just want to press in with you and ask God to do what only He can.

Sometimes when we pray for deliverance, the movement of God comes in ways we don’t expect, sometimes suddenly, sometimes as a steady, quiet unravelling of old chains. Either way, Jesus is tender with those who are hurting. He won’t rush past your son’s pain. And when we ask Him to help someone lose weight safely, we’re tapping into His care for the body He made, not just the numbers on a scale. That kind of healing often walks hand-in-hand with the deeper work of mending old ache.

So we join our prayers with yours, trusting that no word spoken against your son can stand in the presence of Christ. Here’s how we’re praying now:

Lord Jesus, we come before You with this mom’s love for her son. We ask You to shatter every curse, every dark assignment that has come against him, whether spoken or unspoken, ancient or recent. Break those things clean off his life by the authority of Your name. We lift up his body to You: grant him the grace to lose weight in a steady, healthy way, guarded from discouragement or harm. And for the wounds from the past that still echo inside him, be the Healer of the deepest parts. Pour out Your mercy where memory hurts, and give him a real, felt sense of Your affection. Surround him with wise, safe people who will walk with him into wholeness. In Jesus’ name, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

There is but one place where the curse is swallowed up, and it is at the cross of Christ Jesus. The Lord has declared, "Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us." All the maledictions which sin had heaped upon the sons of men fell upon the head of the Surety, and there they are ended. They cannot rest upon a soul that hides in Him. Plead that precious truth for the son, and for yourselves. The curse destroys you, but the Lord uplifted Him who was made a curse; looking to Him, there is life from sin, and a full discharge from every indictment. Let this be the confidence of your heart, not that the curses are merely wished away, but that they are blotted out by the blood of the Lamb, who bore the terrors that God cast forth upon sin.

The deliverance you seek is of a piece with that great emancipation. The Lord brings forth His people with a high hand, and none of His little ones shall perish. The manner of it is often by a way we would not have devised. The leaves of the tree which is Christ are for healing, the very least things about Him have virtue in them. Not only does He pardon, but with the pardon comes the restoration of the soul. When He forgave the palsied man, He also made him take up his bed and walk. Past hurts fester until they are laid beneath the cross, and then the inhabitant shall not say, "I am sick," for the joy of pardon makes us forget the reproach of our former widowhood. Healing flows from the pardoning hand.

For the body, too, there is no true health that does not come from the Lord. Look upon the present affliction as a chastening from a Father's covenant love, dealt out in weight and measure, never in anger. Sickness has often brought me health, and loss has conferred gain. Wait upon Him who brings forth deliverance in His own time, when the clock of mercy strikes the appointed hour. Speak to the Lord about the weight of the body as well as the wounds of the spirit. He who gave His Son as a ransom will not withhold what is needful for the vessel that is to declare His works. The desire for safe loss of weight and inward healing is not too small a thing to bring to the throne of grace, for the Lord is tender over every grief of His people. Then shall you live and not die, and declare the works of the Lord.

The power of Christ is greater than any curse spoken against you or your son. Fear no word of men or demons, for in Jesus’ name every dark authority is broken and put under His feet. Pray with confidence, not with terror, and trust that His cross has silenced every accusation. Yet do not seek only outward deliverance; pursue healing of the soul first.

For your son, I pray that God grant him to lose weight safely, as his body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, and that he learn temperance rather than quick remedies. But far more urgently, I pray for the healing of his past hurts. Those wounds of the heart can bind a person more tightly than any curse. Bring them to the One who binds up the brokenhearted, and do not let resentment fester, for that is a poison worse than any hex.

If you have suffered wrong, give thanks. The poor beggar who thanks God while starving puts many a rich man to shame, and the one who endures loss with gratitude receives a reward greater than if he had kept it all. Do not run to diviners or those who pretend to lift curses by sorcery; you would only trade one chain for a heavier one. The name of Jesus is your only shield.

In your trials, remember that He sees your tears, and if you hold fast to Him, this very trouble will become your gain.

The weight of a curse feels overwhelming until we understand who bore it for us. When God’s people gathered near Mount Ebal and heard the curses thundered for every act of rebellion, the only right response was “Amen”, a sober acknowledgment that judgment was deserved. Yet those curses were not the final word. The true end of the curse was nailed to a cross, where Jesus became a curse in our place. Every indictment that could be spoken against you or this young man has been satisfied by His sacrifice. No word spoken in malice, no generational pattern, no darkness invoked can stand against the finished work of Christ. When you belong to Him, you are no longer under the law’s condemnation but under grace. So pray with confidence, not pleading against curses as if they have authority, but declaring their power broken because Jesus has already triumphed.

As for healing from past hurts, this is where the battle often lingers in the mind. It’s easy to remain chained to old wounds, replaying what others did, unable to rise above the pain. But the same faith that releases us from curses also calls us to let go of the past. There is a kind of holy subtraction at the heart of following Jesus: whatever was once used to define us, including our grievances and scars, we learn to count as loss compared to the surpassing worth of knowing Him. That doesn’t pretend the hurt wasn’t real, but it refuses to let it sit on the throne of our hearts any longer. Each time the memory surfaces, bring it to the cross and leave it there. Over time, divine healing of the emotions unfolds, sometimes in an instant, more often gradually, as the Spirit rewrites the narrative with hope instead of bitterness.

The same principle applies to the body. Weight loss and physical restoration often come through patient, steady processes God has built into our very nature. We can ask for supernatural intervention, and He may grant it swiftly, but we also trust the ordinary rhythms of discipline, rest, and care for the body as a temple. Healing is still divine whether it comes tomorrow or over a year of faithful small choices. Teach this young man to see his body not as an enemy but as a gift, and to pursue health not out of shame but out of stewardship. The real transformation starts inside, where past rejection and emotional heaviness lose their grip.

So pray this way: thank the Father that every curse against this son is silenced by the blood of Christ. Ask for the Holy Spirit to untangle the knots of old wounds, replacing them with a deep sense of being fully loved. And commit the physical journey to the Lord, trusting Him for gradual and complete wholeness. Let today be the day the past becomes refuse, and all that remains is the surpassing joy of walking with Jesus, free and unencumbered.
