We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent plea for deliverance and healing. Father God, we stand in the authority of Your Son, Jesus Christ, whose blood was shed to break every chain and whose name is above every other name. We declare that by the power of the cross, all curses spoken, generational, or self-inflicted against ### and her son are nullified and broken right now in Jesus’ name. The enemy has no legal right to oppress them, for "Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us" (Galatians 3:13). We rebuke every spirit of heaviness, sickness, and bondage, and we command them to flee in the mighty name of Jesus.

Lord, we pray specifically for ###'s son, that You would grant him safe and healthy weight loss, not by the world’s standards, but by Your divine design. May his body be a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and may he honor You with his health. We ask for supernatural discipline, wisdom in nutrition, and strength in exercise, all rooted in a heart that seeks You first. Heal his body, Lord, but also heal the deeper wounds, the past hurts that may have led to emotional eating or self-neglect. "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds" (Psalm 147:3). Let him know Your love so intimately that no pain of the past can define him.

Father, we must address the foundation of this prayer. If ### or her son do not yet know Jesus as Lord and Savior, we plead with You to draw them to Yourself. There is no deliverance, no lasting healing, and no true freedom apart from Christ. "Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12). If they have not surrendered their lives to Him, we pray they would do so today, repenting of sin, believing in His resurrection, and receiving the gift of eternal life. Only then can the fullness of Your power work in their lives.

We also rebuke any ungodly soul ties, unforgiveness, or bitterness that may be giving the enemy a foothold. "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you" (Ephesians 4:31-32). If there are relationships or habits that do not align with Your Word, we pray for conviction and repentance.

Lord, we declare that ### and her son are covered by the blood of Jesus. No weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and every curse is turned into a blessing. We speak life, health, and wholeness over them. May they walk in the freedom Christ died to give them, and may their testimony bring glory to Your name.

We join you in praying for this son, for freedom from anything that has held him captive, for physical health, and for deep, lasting healing from past wounds. It sounds like you are carrying a double burden: spiritual concern and a parent’s heart that aches when a child hurts. We want you to know we hear that, and we stand with you.

While we pray, a practical step can make a real difference with the weight loss. Since you specifically asked for _safely_, we’d encourage helping him connect with a doctor or a registered dietitian who can guide a healthy plan tailored to his body. That takes the guesswork and pressure off, and it shows him that caring for his body is a good and wise thing, not a punishment.

For the deeper hurts he has carried, healing often comes through bringing those memories into the presence of Jesus, who is gentle and near to the brokenhearted. Sometimes having a trusted pastor or a Christian counselor walking alongside can help him unpack that pain without fear. There is no shame in needing someone to listen. You might gently let him know that door is open whenever he’s ready.

Now let’s pray:

Jesus, we lift this son to You. We ask You to break off any curse or spiritual weight that has clung to him, not because we earn deliverance but because You have already overcome every dark power. Surround him with Your protection and peace. Guide him toward a path of physical health where his body grows stronger steadily and safely. Touch the places in his heart that still bleed from old hurts, bring Your healing light into those memories, and let him know he is deeply loved and no longer defined by what happened to him. Give this family hope and patience as they walk this out. In Your mighty name, Amen.

The arrow of despair is shot often, but it is not from the bow of the Almighty. You speak of curses, turn from such a book, for what service can it be to you? The Son of Righteousness has risen, and in Him there is deliverance from a cruel captivity. The ransom is found. The clock of mercy struck in heaven the very moment of salvation for all who look to Jesus upon the cross. Pardon and healing are one in His wounds.

Concerning the son and the weight that burdens both body and soul, the leaves of the tree are for healing. The least thing about Christ is healing, and His blood changes the lifeblood, making the nature other than it was. Past hurts, sickness of the heart and the reproach of former days, shall not be remembered. The inhabitant shall not say, “I have been sick,” when the Sun of Righteousness shines upon him. Every trial works for good, dealt in weight and measure, not in anger but from covenant love. Sickness has brought health; loss has conferred gain. The Lord chastens sorely, but He has delivered us from the power of darkness.

Fear not the slander or the curse of men, for He shall cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you shall be safe. He brought Israel forth with silver and gold, and not a feeble one among their tribes. So too will He bring forth that son, ransomed and healed. Declare the works of the Lord, for He has found a ransom, and none of His little ones shall perish.

Hmm, let me address the request directly with the authority of the pulpit, for you have asked for deliverance from curses, and for a son's weight loss and healing of past hurts. But consider what a curse truly is. The devil may arm robbers against you through the love of riches, as He taught, making you a slave to lifeless things, but no curse can cling to a soul anchored in Christ unless you first despise deliverance. Do you think some words spoken against you have power when the Resurrection is Christ's victory over every retribution? If judgment is sure and the Resurrection real, then the wicked's vain mutterings are already thwarted; they injure only themselves. You ask for an end to curses, yet what you must end is your own fear of them, for fear itself darkens the mind and proves you have not yet cultivated fortitude and contempt of worldly things. Not one part of virtue suffices for salvation, careful hearing of the Word, continual recollection, then fortitude, then deliverance from all worldly anxiety. If you truly despise the world's threats, you are like one who willingly casts away riches and will receive a hundredfold reward for suffering wrongs thankfully.

Now for your son's weight and past hurts. Why do you fixate on the flesh as if it were the culprit? The eye is not to blame for desire, nor the belly for excess, but the depraved will only. To pamper the body is an act of the soul; if the soul chooses to mortify it, it has absolute power. This house is a spiritual surgery, not a place to gather fresh wounds by blaming the body instead of the unruly passion within. Past hurts fester because you rehearse them, watering seeds of bitterness when you should be planting alms of forgiveness and bearing fruits that never die. Do not be like those who, when a fire is kindled by a man heaping fuel, blame the flame instead of the hand that lit it. The loss becomes gain when you bear it thankfully, this is true healing, not mere shedding of pounds. Let your son hear the Word continually, for hearing has power to destroy even the strongest desire, and if he learns to despise the tyranny of comfort and past slights, he will lose what weighs down his soul long before his body is lightened. The gain is twofold: deliverance from slavery to appetite and the casting off of old resentments, which are far heavier than any flesh.

You want curses ended, but I tell you, curse those who curse you not, but bless them, and in doing so, you yourself are delivered. No one lost to Christ was snatched away; they start away of themselves. Stand firm, then, in the impregnable watch of His service, and no malediction will hold you. Let your son look not to the opinion of the multitude, but to the Teacher alone, for in this wrestling the loss is eternal life. Mortify the will that clings to past wrongs, and you will see that the very privation you fear has become your greatest gain.
