We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this request for deliverance and healing. First, we must acknowledge that true deliverance and freedom come only through the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you or your loved ones have not yet surrendered your lives to Him, we urge you to do so now, for He alone has the power to break every chain and set the captives free.
The Bible tells us in Galatians 3:13, "Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. For it is written, 'Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree.'" Through His sacrifice, Jesus bore every curse so that we might live in freedom. We stand on this truth and declare that every curse spoken, generational, or self-inflicted against you and your son is broken now in the mighty name of Jesus! The enemy has no legal right to oppress those who are in Christ. We rebuke every spirit of infirmity, sickness, and bondage that has sought to hold you or your son captive. The Word of God declares in Isaiah 54:17, "No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that accuses you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is of me, says Yahweh."
We also lift up your son’s need for physical healing and safe weight loss. The Lord is our Great Physician, and He cares deeply about every aspect of our well-being. We pray that He would guide your son to make wise choices in his diet, exercise, and lifestyle, surrendering his body as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God (Romans 12:1). May the Holy Spirit strengthen him with self-control, a fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23), so that he may honor God with his body, which is a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). We declare healing over his metabolism, hormones, and any underlying emotional or physical issues that may be contributing to his weight struggles. Lord, we ask that You would renew his strength like the eagle’s and restore his health (Isaiah 40:31).
We also recognize that past hurts can leave deep wounds that affect both the mind and body. The enemy often uses these wounds to keep us in bondage, but Jesus came to heal the brokenhearted and set the captives free (Luke 4:18). We pray that your son would experience the healing touch of the Holy Spirit, bringing comfort, peace, and restoration to every area of pain. May he forgive those who have hurt him, just as Christ has forgiven him (Colossians 3:13), and may he release any bitterness, anger, or unforgiveness that has taken root in his heart. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We declare that your son is free from the pain of the past and that his heart is being made whole in Jesus’ name.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, the Name above all names. We thank You that through His blood, every curse is broken, and every chain is shattered. We declare that no weapon formed against and her son shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment is condemned. We break every curse, generational or otherwise, that has sought to oppress them, and we command every spirit of infirmity, sickness, and bondage to flee now in Jesus’ name!
Lord, we lift up ’s son to You, asking for Your divine intervention in his physical health. We pray for safe and sustainable weight loss, that You would guide him in making choices that honor You and bring healing to his body. Strengthen him with self-control and discipline, and renew his mind so that he may present his body as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to You. Heal any underlying emotional or physical issues that may be contributing to his struggles, and restore his health completely.
Father, we also ask for Your healing touch over his heart. Heal the wounds of the past, Lord, and set him free from any pain, bitterness, or unforgiveness that has taken root. Fill him with Your peace and comfort, and remind him that You are close to the brokenhearted. Help him to forgive as You have forgiven him, and release him from the weight of past hurts.
We thank You, Lord, that You are a God who hears and answers prayer. We trust in Your promises and declare that and her son are free, healed, and whole in Jesus’ name. May they walk in the fullness of the freedom and victory that Christ has already won for them. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
