Deliverance

Pray all curses against ### and ###'s son are ended now. Pray for ###'s son to lose weight safely and healing from past hurts.

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up ### and her son before the Lord. Father God, we know that You are a God of deliverance and healing, and we stand in the authority of Jesus Christ to break every chain, curse, and assignment of the enemy against this family. In the name of Jesus, we rebuke every generational curse, word curse, or spiritual oppression that has been spoken or enacted against them. The Bible declares in Galatians 3:13, "Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. For it is written, 'Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree.'" We claim this redemption over ### and her son, and we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

Lord, we specifically pray for ###'s son, that You would bring healing to his body and soul. We ask for safe and sustainable weight loss, not by the world’s standards, but by Your divine health and strength. Your Word says in 3 John 1:2, "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers." We pray that his body would align with Your design for him, and that he would find joy and discipline in caring for the temple You have given him (1 Corinthians 6:19-20).

Father, we also lift up the past hurts that may still linger in his heart. You are the God who heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds (Psalm 147:3). We ask that You would bring comfort, restoration, and a fresh revelation of Your love to him. Let him know that he is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14) and that Your plans for him are for good and not for harm (Jeremiah 29:11). We rebuke any spirit of rejection, low self-worth, or emotional bondage, and we declare that he is a new creation in Christ, old things have passed away, and all things have become new (2 Corinthians 5:17).

Lord, if there has been any unconfessed sin, unforgiveness, or agreement with the enemy in this situation, we ask that You would bring conviction and repentance. Your Word tells us in James 5:16, "Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed." We pray for a spirit of humility and surrender, that ### and her son would walk in the freedom that Christ died to give them.

We also want to gently remind this family of the power of the name of Jesus. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is only through faith in Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father and the authority to break every curse. If they have not yet placed their trust in Him, we pray that today would be the day of salvation (2 Corinthians 6:2). Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6). We pray that they would surrender their lives to Him and experience the fullness of His love and deliverance.

Father, we thank You for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your goodness and Your power to bring breakthrough. We declare that ### and her son are covered by the blood of Jesus, and we stand in faith, believing that Your will is being done in their lives. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We are standing with you in prayer for this son, asking the Lord to break any curse that has been spoken over his life and to bring him lasting freedom. We hear the love behind your request, and we want to join you in bringing these very real concerns before God.

When past hurts linger, healing often comes as we intentionally invite Jesus into those memories, not to relive the pain, but to let His presence reshape what those wounds have meant. You might gently encourage him, when he’s ready, to share this burden with a wise pastor or a Christian counselor who can help him pray through those hurts in a safe, unhurried way. We were never meant to carry these things alone, and a trusted companion can make a great difference.

For the goal of losing weight safely, we’d also encourage him to walk this out with practical wisdom: a doctor or a registered dietitian can give guidance that protects his health while he works toward his goals. Prayer and wise action belong together.

Most of all, we ask God to make this a season where he experiences the steady, healing love of Christ, not just relief from suffering, but a deep sense that he is held and known.

Please join us as we pray:

Father, we lift up this son into Your strong hands. Silence every voice that has spoken harm over him, and let Your blessing stand instead. Heal the memories that still carry weight, and fill those places with Your peace. Give him patience and sound counsel as he cares for his body. Most of all, draw him close, and let him know, beyond any doubt, that he is Yours. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

There is no curse that can rest upon a child of God, for Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the Law, being made a curse for us. If any bitter word has been spoken, it falls powerless, for "the curse causeless shall not come." Look away from all this to the brazen serpent lifted up, Christ crucified. Healing for every sting of sin and sorrow flows from that one look. Let not the remembrance of past sins make you fear; the blood of Christ cleanses from all guilt. And for past hurts, there is balm in Gilead; He binds up the broken-hearted and heals their wounds. You may have been sorely chastened, but it is a Father's hand, dealing in weight and measure, not in anger but from covenant love.

As for the son and his need for deliverance in body and soul, we pray that the Lord will give him strength to walk in temperance and self-control. Every trial works for good when it drives us to the Savior. He who delivers from the pit can also deliver from the power of sin and from the chains of old habits. Let him cry, "Deliver me from going down to the pit, for I have found a ransom!" That ransom is Christ. And if the Lord sees fit to chasten with pain or struggle, it is that He may refine and restore. We ask for safe weight loss, yes, but even more for the healing of the inner man, that the joy of the Lord may be his strength. He shall not die but live, and declare the works of the Lord.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Who can lay a curse upon those whom Christ has redeemed from the curse? For the Law pronounced a curse on every transgression, but grace has spoken a better word: Christ became a curse for us, hanging on the tree, to break the power of every curse that rises against the children of God. If therefore you and this son are in Christ, no weapon formed by tongues of malice can prosper. The curse causeless shall not come. Yet see to it that you do not yourselves hold fast to the cords of a curse through an unforgiving spirit. The deliverance you seek begins in the heart. When the wrongs of the past sting and cry out for justice, recall Him who on the cross said, “Forgive them,” and sent apostles to the very ones who had slain Him. Hate not the hand that wounded you, lest you bear the pain but lose the reward. As you pray for the curses to be ended, bless those who cursed, and in so doing you will find that the curse indeed has no more place to rest.

For the son’s body and the healing of old afflictions, remember this: the power of the Lord is not confined to the body alone; He cares for the whole man. Our first desire must be that he is made whole in the inward parts, that deliverance from worldly sorrows and a right ordering of the soul may be granted. Bodily health is a lesser gift, yet not one to be despised. Pray that he learns to govern his appetites with temperance, seeing the body as a servant and not a master. When the mind is set on Christ, the flesh with its lusts loses its tyranny. The safe loss of weight is a fruit of self-command, which the Spirit alone can cultivate. Let this son seek first the Kingdom, and in pursuing virtue he will find strength to treat food not as comfort for wounds but as fuel for service. The healing of past hurts comes not by forgetting them, but by entrusting them to the pierced hands that heal all pains. What men meant for evil, God uses for good, working in us a patient endurance that is worth more than any passing bodily ease.

Therefore, cease from anxiety. Lift up holy hands without wrath, and pray not only that the external curse be broken, but that every root of bitterness within be pulled up. The adversary is divided against himself and cannot stand, for Christ has bound the strong man. No devil can cast out what God has planted. Stand fast in this liberty, and the peace of God will guard both your hearts and the body of this child, according to His will.

Your prayer for deliverance, for an end to every curse spoken against you and your son, takes me straight to a truth that runs like gold through Scripture: no curse can land on those whom God has blessed. Remember when the king of Moab hired Balaam to curse Israel, promising him riches if he would just speak the word. But Balaam could only reply, “How can I curse whom God has not cursed? How can I denounce whom the Lord has not denounced?” God refused to allow a curse upon His people because they were already blessed beyond recall. The same holds for you if you belong to Jesus Christ. He became the curse for us on the cross, the thorny crown on His brow was the sign of the curse against sin, and He bore it in full. So any curse hurled at you must first pass through the finished work of Christ, and there it shatters against His sacrifice. I join my faith with yours to declare that every ill word, every dark pronouncement, every bit of spiritual venom sent against your household is rendered powerless right now, in Jesus’ name. You are not under a curse; you are under blessing.

I also see your heart for your son’s weight loss and his healing from past hurts. Be encouraged that God’s healing work often unfolds as a process, not just an instant event. We tend to want the sudden miracle, and sometimes Jesus gave that, touching a blind man and sight flooded in. But other times He laid hands twice, and the man saw only dimly at first, then clearly. That gradual healing was no less divine. The body’s own restorative processes, when nurtured wisely, are God’s handiwork as surely as a dramatic intervention. So I pray that the Lord will grant your son both the discipline and the patience he needs to lose weight in a safe, sustainable way. May he find the strength to honor his body as a temple of the Holy Spirit, not through self-punishment but through the quiet, steady cooperation with how God designed him. Any lasting change is a gift of grace.

And about those past hurts, please, don’t let the enemy chain your son to a day that is already gone. It’s a torment to replay old wounds, to live in the horror of what should or shouldn’t have happened, as if we could rewrite history by endlessly grieving it. Job, in his misery, longed for the grave, yet he refused to curse God. He poured out his agony, but he did not define himself by it. The Lord does not want your son to be a prisoner of memory. Jesus came to bear our griefs and carry our sorrows; that includes the emotional and spiritual scars that no human eye can see. I pray that the Holy Spirit does a deep cleansing work in your son’s mind and heart, soothing the hidden wounds, untangling the lies sown by pain, and rebuilding what was broken. Let him know that healing of the emotions is just as real and powerful as healing of the body. It may come softly, over time, but it comes from the same nail-scarred hands.

Rest in this: God’s character never wavers. He does not change. The love He set upon you before you drew your first breath is the same love that holds you now. It is not a variable that rises and falls with your circumstances. Let your heart rejoice in that constancy, even while the journey is hard. I am standing with you in prayer, confident that the One who began a good work will carry it to completion.

We want to thank you for trusting us with the privilege of standing with you in prayer for deliverance and healing. It has been our heart’s burden to lift up every curse spoken against you and your son, asking the Lord to break their power in Jesus’ mighty name. We have also prayed earnestly for your son’s physical health, that God would grant him safe and lasting weight loss, and for his emotional healing from past hurts, that the Holy Spirit would bring comfort, restoration, and wholeness.

If the Lord has moved in answer to these prayers, we would rejoice with you—please share a praise report so we can glorify God together. If the battle still feels ongoing, we encourage you to post this request again so we may continue to intercede with fresh faith and persistence.

May the Father strengthen you both, surround you with His peace, and draw you ever closer to Him as you walk in the victory of His Son, Jesus Christ. We pray all these things in His precious name.
