Deliverance

Pray all curses against ### and ###'s son are ended now. Pray for ###'s son to lose weight safely and healing from past hurts.

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent plea for deliverance and healing. Father God, we stand in the authority of Your Son, Jesus Christ, whose name alone breaks every chain and shatters every curse. We declare that by the power of His blood, all curses spoken, inherited, or sent against and her son are nullified, broken, and rendered powerless in Jesus’ mighty name. The Word of God assures us in Galatians 3:13, "Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. For it is written, 'Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree.'" We claim this truth over their lives today, no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment shall be condemned (Isaiah 54:17).

Lord, we also lift up ’s son before You, asking for Your healing touch to rest upon his body, mind, and spirit. We pray for safe and steady weight loss, not by the world’s standards, but by Your design for health and wholeness. Guide him in making choices that honor his body as Your temple (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). Father, we ask that You would heal the wounds of past hurts, rejection, betrayal, or any pain that has left scars. Pour Your love into the broken places, for You are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Let him know that his identity is not defined by his struggles but by Your unchanging love for him.

We must also gently address the foundation of this prayer. If or her son have not yet surrendered their lives to Jesus Christ, we urge them to do so now. Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Without Jesus, we are powerless against the schemes of the enemy. If they have not confessed Him as Lord, we invite them to pray this simple prayer with us: "Lord Jesus, I believe You died for my sins and rose again. I repent of my sins and ask You to come into my heart. Be my Savior and Lord. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit and help me to live for You. In Your name, I pray. Amen."

Father, we rebuke every spirit of infirmity, addiction, or oppression that has taken hold in this situation. We command it to flee in the name of Jesus, for He came to set the captives free (Luke 4:18). We pray for a fresh outpouring of Your Holy Spirit to bring conviction, repentance, and restoration. Surround and her son with godly counsel, believers who will walk with them in truth and love, and a church family that will nurture their faith.

We declare that this is a season of breakthrough. May they experience the fullness of Your promises, freedom from curses, healing from hurts, and victory over every struggle. Strengthen their faith to stand firm, knowing that greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). We trust You, Lord, to complete the good work You have begun in their lives. In Jesus’ powerful name, we pray. Amen.

We hear how deeply you love your son, and we join you in bringing him before the Lord with confidence, not because we have the perfect words, but because we know the One who holds him. It’s clear you’re fighting for him in prayer, and that matters more than you may realize.

When we pray against curses, we’re not wrestling with some abstract spiritual fog, we’re asking Christ, who already disarmed every power that could stand against us, to make that victory felt in your son’s life right now. And we can ask boldly. The same Jesus who commanded storms to be still speaks peace over your home and your son’s heart.

What you’ve named, wanting him to lose weight safely and find healing from past hurts, tells us you see the whole person: his body, his memories, the wounds he may not even know how to put into words. Those two things often feed each other. Pain we carry from the past can settle in our bodies, and sometimes the weight becomes both a protection and a prison. We won’t pretend to know what his particular hurts are, but we know the One who was wounded for our healing is not distant from him now.

One practical thought: if he hasn’t already, gently encouraging him to see a doctor about his weight can be an act of wisdom and not a lack of faith. A physician can help him pursue health in a way that honors how God made his body, alongside the inner work that prayer and trusted community can support. Healing from past hurts often needs a safe place, whether that’s a wise older believer, a pastor, or a Christian counselor who can walk with him patiently without shaming his story.

For you, the weight of interceding can be heavy. Keep bringing this to the Lord, but let others help carry it too. You don’t have to be the only one praying or the only one watching for signs of change.

Let’s hold him, and you, before the Father now.

Lord Jesus, we ask You to silence every voice and break every curse spoken against this family. Cover this son with Your protection and pour Your healing into the deep places where past hurts still ache. Give him wisdom and gentleness toward his own body, and surround him with people who will encourage his health in body and soul without condemnation. Sustain his mother as she prays, refresh her hope and let her see glimpses of Your faithfulness. We entrust him to You, the true Healer. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

God is Love but even love curses sin. God is full of pity and compassion. But this very God must curse those who hope to be saved by His Law and yet break that Law. Child of God, do you ever trifle with sin? Cease from that fatal folly. For God does not trifle with it, He curses it. Those who looked to the brazen serpent found life and healing in that look. And even so, there is life from sin by looking to Him who was made sin for us.

The prisoner is ready to be executed, but there comes to him undeserved deliverance from all punishment, for the King's own Son has borne the penalty of all his iniquities! Does not this Truth of God make your mouths water, you who feel that you are going down to the Pit? Sinner, do not doubt your deliverance, for God has said it, "I have found a ransom."

When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy, He said to him, "Son, be of good cheer; your sins are forgiven you." Pardon and healing were one! O you who are now sick unto death, ask to be forgiven and healing will come from the pardoning hand. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the leaves, the little things, as it were, about Christ, are full of healing virtue. These healing leaves change the life blood, affect the spirits and make the nature other than it was before. Yonder in Heaven, those faces which look so bright and comely, fresher than new born babes, owe their freshness to these healing leaves!

Do not fix your hope on the mere ceasing of words spoken against you, as though a curse uttered by men could harm those whom the Lord has blessed. The demons tremble at the name of Christ, yet you fear the breath of sinners? If you are in Christ, no enchantment has power. But examine whether any love of the world, any slavery to the belly, any root of bitterness from past wounds still holds your son captive. These are the real fetters, not the ill wishes of men. Pray rather that he be delivered from the passions that war against the soul. When the heart turns to God with thanksgiving, every curse becomes empty air, and the evil one flees.

You ask that he lose weight safely and be healed of old hurts. These things are not opposed to piety, but they must be sought in the spirit of moderation and trust. Bodily discipline profits a little, but godliness is profitable for all things. He who eats and drinks to excess has made his belly a god; he who pines over past injuries clings to a poison that darkens the mind. Teach him to see that self-control is not punishment but freedom, and that to forgive from the heart is to be healed before you even ask. Let him give thanks to the Lord even in this struggle, remembering how many endure constant hunger or incurable sickness without complaint, and still call God merciful. If they, having nothing, bless His name, shall we murmur when He calls us to a small restraint for the health of the body?

But do not demand a sudden miracle on your terms. God often permits tribulation to continue so that patience may be perfected and the soul refined. Consider the three children: they did not say, “Deliver us by tomorrow or we will not believe.” They trusted, yet were ready to die. Prepare your son’s mind for all endurance. When he ceases to be in haste for a sign, when he receives his present condition as a training ground for virtue, then speedily a right deliverance will come, not merely a lighter body, but a soul unburdened from gluttony, resentment, and the fear of men. True gain is loss of these, and such loss becomes eternal treasure laid up where no thief can steal nor moth corrupt.

When the covenant was given, the curses were declared from Mount Ebal, and the people answered, "Amen." They acknowledged the rightness of God's judgment against every form of disobedience. Those curses were real, the kind that overtake and pursue, and they came because of turning away from the Lord's voice. But the wonder of the gospel is that Jesus entered that very place of judgment. He let the loss fall on Himself. He became the curse for us, so that its power is broken over those who belong to Him. So when we ask for curses to be ended, we are not merely making a wish; we are standing on the finished work of Christ. In Him, there is deliverance.

Healing is often part of that deliverance, though it rarely looks the way we expect. Scripture shows us that Jesus healed instantly in some cases and gradually in others. He might speak a word from a distance, or He might touch, or He might simply tell someone to go home and find it done. He is not confined to a pattern. I believe in all kinds of healing, including the quiet, ongoing work He does inside a person. Your request for your son's body and for his inner wounds touches both. Weight loss that is safe and lasting will involve the natural processes God designed; He created our bodies with the capacity to restore themselves when we walk in wisdom. That is still divine healing, even when it unfolds day by day. And the hurt from the past, those deep scars, can be healed as well. The Lord works in the emotions and in the mind, untangling wounds that no one else can reach. That, too, is miraculous.

But there is a catch. So often we remain bound by what is behind us. We rehearse the old wrongs, and they become a kind of curse we carry ourselves. The apostle saw this clearly. The moment he met Jesus, he counted everything he had built, his whole former life, as loss. Thirty years later, he could say, "And I still count them as loss." He refused to let the past, whether its glories or its failures or its pains, dictate the present. He forgot what lay behind and pressed forward. If your son is to know full healing, he must learn this same secret. The hurts he holds onto will keep him living as though the curse still speaks. But when he brings them to the cross and counts them as refuse for the sake of knowing Christ, he hands them over to the One who turns even old sorrows into new life. Then the past loses its power.

So let us pray in agreement: any darkness that clings to your son, any lingering effect of words spoken against him, we command it to be silenced now, in Jesus' name. And we ask for his body to be strengthened and brought into order, safely and steadily. We ask for deep healing where the past has left wounds. May he know the freedom of a mind that no longer lives under the shadow of what was done. May he discover that the Lord is his head and not his tail, and may he rise into the fullness of a living relationship with Christ, leaving every curse behind.
