Deliverance

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent cry for deliverance and healing. Father God, we acknowledge that You are the breaker of every chain, the healer of every wound, and the restorer of all things. We stand in the authority of Jesus Christ, who bore our curses on the cross, declaring that by His stripes we are healed and set free.

First, we rebuke every curse spoken, inherited, or sent against this mother and her son in the mighty name of Jesus. The Word declares in Galatians 3:13, "Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. For it is written, 'Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree.'" We declare these curses null and void, broken by the power of the blood of Jesus. Every assignment of darkness against their lives is dismantled now. We command every spirit of infirmity, sickness, and oppression to flee in Jesus' name. The enemy has no legal right to operate in their lives, for they are covered by the blood of the Lamb.

We pray for this precious son, that You would grant him safe and healthy weight loss according to Your will. Lord, we ask that You would give him discipline and self-control, which are fruits of Your Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23). Help him to honor his body as Your temple (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), nourishing it with foods that strengthen and sustain him. We pray for wisdom in his choices, for encouragement in his journey, and for Your peace to guard his heart and mind (Philippians 4:7).

Father, we also lift up the deep hurts of the past that may still linger in his heart. You are the God who heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds (Psalm 147:3). We ask that You would bring healing to every memory, every betrayal, every moment of pain. Pour out Your love and comfort upon him, reminding him that he is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14) and deeply loved by You. Let him know that his identity is found in Christ alone, not in the words or actions of others.

We also speak life and restoration over this mother. May she find strength and hope in You, knowing that You are her refuge and fortress (Psalm 91:2). Give her wisdom as she guides and supports her son, and fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).

Lord, we ask that You would draw both of them closer to You. If they have not yet surrendered their lives to Jesus Christ, we pray that they would come to know Him as their Lord and Savior. For "there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12). May they experience the freedom and joy that comes from a personal relationship with You.

We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that they will walk in the fullness of Your blessings. We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness and for the victory we have in Christ Jesus. We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus, Amen.

We hear how much you want freedom for your son, and for yourself. You're carrying both a spiritual weight and a mother's ache, and we're sitting with you in that right now.

What strikes us is how you paired these requests: "curses against me and my son" right alongside his physical health and past emotional wounds. That's not two separate problems; it's one picture of a life that needs wholeness in every direction.

For the spiritual side, what you're describing connects with what many have found helpful in a deliverance prayer session, a time with two or three mature believers who walk with you, inviting Jesus the Deliverer to address whatever darkness has attached itself through family patterns, old vows, or deep unforgiveness. This isn't something you have to navigate alone or figure out perfectly. A trusted pastor or prayer minister who combines simple faith with awareness of human fragility can help you both name what's been oppressing you and renounce it in Jesus' authority.

For your son, the weight and the past hurts are likely connected. When emotional wounds haven't healed, the body often carries what the heart can't speak. That doesn't make what he's facing any less real, it just means healing may need to touch both. This is the territory of inner-healing prayer: inviting Christ to walk into the painful memories and minister where the damage first took root. Forgiveness, of those who hurt him, and maybe of himself, often unlocks what's been stuck. Meanwhile, a doctor can help with the physical side of safe weight loss. There's no shame in that; it's wisdom. His body matters, and getting professional guidance alongside spiritual care is a way of honoring how God made him, whole, not in pieces.

We want to pray with you right now.

Jesus, you see this mother and her son. Whatever words were spoken over their lives that you never spoke, we ask you to silence them now. Break any curse, any oppressive tie, any darkness that has followed them, and replace it with the truth of who they are in you. For her son, we ask for deep healing where old wounds still ache, where shame or rejection has settled, and where food has become a comfort or a battle. Give him safe, steady progress and people who walk with him well. And for this mom, give her courage to seek the help they both need, whether through prayer, a doctor, or trusted counsel. Wrap them in your peace that doesn't depend on everything being fixed yet. In your name, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

🙏Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, so that I can trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The prayer for deliverance from curses is heard in the courts of heaven when it is laid at the foot of the cross. There is no curse that can stand against the blood of Jesus Christ; He has redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us. Every malediction, whether from malice of men or inherited sorrow, is swallowed up in the triumphant “It is finished.” God has found a ransom, and none can now lay any charge to the heart of His elect. The eternal purpose of Jehovah decrees the deliverance, and the clock of mercy struck the moment of release when the Lamb was slain. You are not left to fight against shadows with your own strength, He brought them forth, and He will bring you and your son out of every snare with an outstretched arm. Only look to Him, for deliverance from the power of darkness is as truly the work of God as deliverance from its guilt.

For your son, the healing he needs, both of body and of the hidden wounds of the heart, flows from the same fount. The leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ has virtue in it. Present him often before the throne, not with frantic pleading but with the quiet confidence that the Sun of Righteousness rises with healing in His wings. His weight, his past sorrows, these are not beyond the reach of a tender Savior who knows the secrets of every bruised spirit. Be wise, and look upon these afflictions as a chastening measured out by covenant love, not in anger but for good. The Lord has chastened you both sorely, but He has not given you over unto death. Sickness can bring health, loss can confer gain, and this very trial may be the soil where shalom springs up. As you cry to Him for your son’s complete restoration, remember that healing and pardon are placed in happy conjunction, where Jesus grants forgiveness, He removes the weight of His hand. Plead His dear Son’s sake, and expect that the deliverance will be effectual. Then, when answer comes, see that you and your son live to declare the works of the Lord, for no one can tell of great deliverance who has not known deep tribulation.

The end of every curse is declared in Christ, who became a curse for us to redeem us from the curse of the Law. If you are in Him, no word spoken against you or your son has any lasting power, for He has delivered you from the dominion of darkness and transferred you into His kingdom. What you truly need deliverance from, then, is not a sentence from outside, but from the evil towering within, the worldliness, the softness, the careless hearing that chokes the word. That is the curse to fear.

You ask for your son to lose weight safely and to be healed from past hurts and sinful desires. Do not make the error of blaming the body as if it were an alien traitor. To mutilate the body or to pamper it are not acts of the flesh but of the soul’s tyrannical will. If a man sets a house on fire, we blame the arsonist, not the flame. The desire you call sinful is a fire kindled by a depraved will, not by the flesh itself, which is the workmanship of God. Correct the unruly passion of the soul, and the body becomes a servant, not a master. True healing is not mere weight loss but the mortification of the gluttonous will that makes the belly its god, for he who is a slave to the stomach is subject to a lifeless master and cannot serve the living God.

You must cultivate not one part of virtue but the whole: fortitude, contempt of riches and comforts, and a careful hearing of the word. Let your son learn to suffer wrong and bear a loss thankfully, and this loss will become his gain. For if, suffering the deprivation of a pleasure or a food, he does not blaspheme, does not complain, but gives thanks, he is like one who despises wealth and heals the sores of the past. The devil who stirred the sinful desire is defeated and becomes an agent of benefit, and the thankfulness works a greater healing than any bodily discipline alone. Do not seek a sign or a sudden deliverance, but the long-suffering that proves you sons. He has given you the Spirit of adoption, and if you bear the struggle without displays of vainglory, becoming like God in giving alms secretly, so also let this fight be hidden. The promise is sure: He will lose nothing that the Father has given Him, and your soul’s healing is found not in blaming the flesh, but in receiving the word on good ground, holding fast with patience.

The weight of any curse spoken against you or your son has already been lifted by the one who became a curse for us. When the law listed its curses on Mount Ebal, the people cried out their acknowledgment that those curses were just. The law demanded perfection, and falling short meant standing under that judgment. But in the fullness of time, God sent His Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those under the law. Every curse that could fall on you was placed on Jesus. He was made a curse for us, so that in Him, the blessing of Abraham might come. You do not need to fear ongoing curses. If you are in Christ, the law’s condemnation has been silenced. You are no longer under the bondwoman’s child, the son of the flesh, but you are a child of promise, adopted into the Father’s family. The Spirit of His Son now cries in your heart, “Abba, Father.” That is your true standing. Pray, not out of dread that curses still cling to you, but out of the confidence that Christ has set you free indeed.

For your son, bring him to the Son of God, who has all authority over body, mind, and spirit. Healing is real, and Jesus healed many who were broken in every way. Sometimes healing comes in a moment; sometimes it unfolds gradually, through the natural processes God designed, as a body learns to regulate weight safely with wisdom and discipline. Both are divine. I pray for your son to find that steady path, that he would know the strength to make healthy choices and the patience to see change over time. But far deeper, I pray for the healing of his past hurts. The wounds that memory carries can be more crippling than any physical ailment. Jesus, the Son of David, bore not only our sins but our griefs and sorrows. He is near to the brokenhearted. There is a healing of the scars inside, a renewal of the mind, that is just as mighty as the healing of a blind eye. I ask that the Father would touch those hidden places, that the past would no longer shape his identity or dictate his future. You know the feeling of a parent watching a child suffer in ways that words cannot express. Yet the Father who did not spare His only Son, but gave Him up for us all, will also with Him freely give us all things. Trust that love for your son.

Remind your son that he is not defined by what has been done to him or by the lies that pain whispers. His true name is found in the Son. The question that echoes through the Gospels is, “Whose son is he?” Jesus is the Son of God, the only begotten, and whoever acknowledges the Son has the Father also. Your son, by faith, is an adopted son, an heir with Christ. That identity is stronger than any curse, any hurt, any shame. The centurion at the cross saw Jesus die and declared, “Truly this was the Son of God.” That same Son rose and now lives to intercede for us. He is able to save completely. So bring these very needs to Him, not as someone cowering under a threat, but as a son coming to a Father who loves to give good gifts.

I am praying that all of you will experience the times of refreshing that come when the past is blotted out. Do not carry guilt; do not carry the fear of curses. The blood of Jesus speaks a better word. May you and your son walk in the freedom of the children of God, with healed bodies, restored minds, and the deep peace of knowing that nothing can separate you from His love.
