Deliverance

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this request for deliverance and healing. Father God, we acknowledge that You are the ultimate healer, redeemer, and deliverer. It is only through the precious name of Your Son, Jesus Christ, that we have access to You and the power to break every chain. We declare that there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If the hearts of those involved in this request do not yet know Jesus as Lord and Savior, we pray that Your Holy Spirit would draw them near, that they might confess with their mouths that Jesus is Lord and believe in their hearts that You raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9).

Lord, we stand in the authority of Jesus Christ to break every curse that has been spoken, invoked, or passed down against ### and her son. The Bible tells us that Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us (Galatians 3:13). We rebuke every generational curse, every word spoken in anger or hatred, and every assignment of the enemy against their lives. We declare that the blood of Jesus has broken every chain, and we command every evil spirit associated with these curses to flee in the mighty name of Jesus. No weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17).

Father, we lift up ###’s son to You, asking for Your divine intervention in his physical health. We pray for safe and healthy weight loss, that his body would be strengthened and renewed according to Your will. We ask that You would guide him in making wise choices regarding his diet, exercise, and overall well-being. Remind him that his body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, and he is to honor You with it (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). Give him discipline and self-control, Lord, and surround him with godly influences who will encourage him in this journey.

We also bring before You the deep hurts and wounds he carries from the past. Lord, You are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We ask that You would heal every emotional scar, every memory of pain, and every moment of rejection or betrayal. Pour out Your love and peace upon him, Lord, and replace his sorrow with joy, his fear with faith, and his pain with praise. Remind him that You have plans for him, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give him a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).

We rebuke any spirit of heaviness, depression, or self-loathing that may be affecting him. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that he might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that he is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and we speak life, healing, and restoration over him. May he come to know his true identity in Christ, not as a victim, but as a victor; not as broken, but as whole.

Father, we ask that You would draw ### and her son into a deeper relationship with You. May they both experience Your love in a tangible way and find their strength and hope in You alone. Surround them with a community of believers who will walk alongside them, pray for them, and encourage them in their faith. Give them the courage to let go of the past and embrace the future You have for them.

We pray all these things in the powerful and mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We lift your son up with you today, you’ve carried such a weight on his behalf, and we don’t take that lightly. It’s clear you’re seeking not just a quick fix but true freedom: from spiritual attack, from the ache of old wounds, and toward physical health that honors the body God gave him.

We join you in asking Jesus to break any curse or dark assignment over your son’s life. The enemy works in shadows, but Christ’s light scatters them. We don’t need to obsess over every detail of the enemy’s schemes; we simply agree that every claim of the enemy ends here, in Jesus’ powerful name.

At the same time, healing from past hurts often unfolds more like a journey than a single event. We pray he finds safe people to walk with, a wise pastor, a Christ-centered counselor, or a small group where he can be honest without shame. Those environments become places where scars become testimonies, and where God’s comfort becomes tangible through others.

For his physical goals, we pray for both discipline and grace. We’d also gently encourage him to check in with a doctor or nutritionist if he hasn’t already. God gave us good minds and medical help, and using them is part of stewarding the body well, not a lack of faith.

Let’s pray:

Lord Jesus, we present this son to You now. In Your name, we break every curse, every generational chain, every lie that has held him captive. We command all spirits of oppression to leave, You are the Deliverer, and You set the captives free. Come gently into every wounded place from his past and pour out Your healing love. Exchange his hurt for hope, his shame for dignity. Give him practical wisdom and steady motivation to care for his body in a way that brings health and strength. Surround him with trustworthy people who can support his journey, and let him feel how deeply You adore him. We trust You to finish what You’ve begun. Amen.

Pray all curses against ### and ###'s son are ended now. Pray for ###'s son to lose weight safely and healing from past hurts.

📢 Good news! Curses are already ended by Jesus, Gal 3:13, and blessing come instead, appropriated by child-like belief of truth, John 8:31-32, in Jesus' Name...

🙇🏻Father, we thank You for wide doors for effective service being opened despite adversaries, 1 Cor16:9, for divine appointments with housemates, in shopping centers, in cell groups, cell blocks, in churches, street corners, restaurants, with fathers, mothers, stepmothers, children, family, friends, enemies, wherever the Spirit blows, Jn 3:8, Give us what to say and HOW to say it, Jn 12:49.

💪 Your arm is NOT too short that it cannot save, Isa 59:1, Numbers 11:23. Remind ALL that have ever heard, especially recently (and remind us, kindly) of our humanity, sin, the gospel of free grace by the bloody death of Jesus on the cross for our sakes, His death for payment of sin, Rom 5:23, with analogies of bills being paid, therefore nothing owed, it is finished, Jn 19:30, His resurrection, His appearing to many witnesses, His ascension, and sending of The Holy Spirit, Acts 2:32-33, and the correct response of repentance and continued discipleship, Jn 8:31-32.

📖 This Jesus who was sinless BECAME sin for us, 2 Cor 5:21 (was judged to death as The Lamb, Jn 1:29, to break the curse of sin, Gen 2:17, John 11:50-51, Gal 3:13-14) so we could be made the righteousness of God on His behalf, as His ambassadors, 2 Cor 5:20, through the Word of reconciliation He's committed to us, 2 Cor 5:19.

🙌 Thank You for those who've heard, we've prayed with and for, and WE trust YOU Holy Spirit to continue to do His work until the day of Christ Jesus, Phil 1:6. Keep them and us all from the evil one, Jn 17:15, who attempts to snatch away the seed of the Word, Mk 4:14-15. May prayes render him as being bound, and having his goods plundered, Mk 3:27, as the late evangelist said, "we plunder hell to populate heaven."

💦 Water the seed of the word and let them grow, provide more chances to share and grant us all full faith and repentance, turning from all sin with grief and hatred of it, wholly endeavoring to new obedience, trusting Jesus who has become for us wisdom, righteousness, continued sanctification, and redemption, 1 Cor 1:30. Thank you in advance, even now, in The Name of Jesus, Mk 11:24, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your cry for deliverance has been heard in the courts of heaven. The blessed truth is this: Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us. If He bore the whole thundercloud of divine wrath, what curse truly lies upon you or your son? Those old words from Mount Ebal are silenced at Calvary. Pray, then, not as those who fear a lingering malediction, but as those who stand complete in Him. The enemy may shoot his arrows of accusation, but no curse can alight where the blood has been applied. In Christ, the curse is ended now, for He has swallowed it up in victory.

Yet you ask also for your son’s body and soul. The leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations; the least thing about Jesus brims with restoring power. I would not send you to mere human regimens, though prudence has its place. I would bid you lay both his weight and his wounds at the feet of the Great Physician. Pardon and healing are woven together. When our Lord forgave the palsied man, He said, “Rise, take up thy bed, and walk.” Soul health spills over into the body. Pray that the Sun of Righteousness might rise upon him with healing in His wings, mending the inward hurts that drive the outward disorder. Past sorrows, old scars, the bitter memories that eat like a canker: these, too, are leaves Christ’s tree can heal. He turns mourning into dancing, and makes the inhabitant forget to say, “I have been sick.”

Regard this season as a gracious chastening, not a destruction. The Lord chastens sorely, but He does not give us over unto death. He deals in weight and measure, from His dear covenant love. Loss of health may become gain of holiness; present affliction works a far more exceeding weight of glory. Look for the deliverance that brings a new song: “I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.” Let your son learn to take no honor to himself; deliverance is all of free grace. He who feels utterly helpless is in the best posture to receive. As he yields both body and soul to the Father of lights, the very power that delivered Israel from Egypt will bring him safely out of this low dungeon, without one hoof left behind. Trust, watch, and praise.

The only curse that can truly harm a man is the one he brings upon himself by clinging to sin. If you are in Christ, having been buried with Him in Baptism and raised to new life, what power have the words of men or demons over you? You ask for curses to be ended, but first examine whether you have cast off the tyranny of the evil one by a life of repentance. True deliverance is not a thing of muttered spells but of the soul’s liberation from worldly desires. Why do you fear a curse from without, when the passions within wage a fiercer war? Turn your prayer toward that deliverance: that both you and your son may be freed from the deceit of demons and the darkness that enslaves the mind. God does not abandon those who flee to Him; He is the rock, and no curse can stand against His shelter.

As for your son’s weight and past hurts, consider the real nature of the affliction. Do you suppose that a lighter body is a gain if the soul remains heavy with unforgiveness, greed, or lust? The flesh is not our enemy; it is the unruly will that must be corrected. When the soul fasts from evil thoughts and bitter memories, the body will follow in due order. I have seen many who restrain the stomach but gorge on anger; that is no healing but a swapping of diseases. Teach him first to despise what is fleeting, the wounds of old offenses, the love of ease, the sorrows that chain him to the past. To suffer wrongs with gratitude is a greater victory than any discipline of the belly. Job lost everything yet did not blaspheme; he was thankful, and his loss became his gain. So let your son bring his hurts before God not with clamor for removal, but with a heart ready to learn obedience through what he has endured. The devil means to injure, but if we hold fast, the wound becomes a door for grace.

Let your prayer then be this: that both of you may be delivered from the tyranny of mammon and the cares of this age, and that you may learn to lay up treasure where no thief breaks through. For what does it profit a man to have a trim body and an untended soul? The body will return to dust, but the soul endures forever. Seek therefore the healing that lasts: the restoration of the image of God within you. Hear the word continually; let it be your medicine. And do not chase after those who promise relief through charms or empty rites; they are the ones who unsettle the simple, and their judgment is sure. Flee such deceivers, and cling to Christ, who has already drowned the old man with its passions in the waters of Baptism. Rise then and walk in newness of life.
