Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent plea for deliverance and healing. Father God, we acknowledge that You are the breaker of chains, the healer of wounds, and the restorer of all things. We stand in the authority of Jesus Christ, who came to set the captives free and proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.

First, we rebuke every curse, generational bondage, and spiritual oppression that has been spoken or enacted against this precious mother and her son. The Word of God declares in Galatians 3:13, "Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. For it is written, 'Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree.'"" We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment shall be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). In the mighty name of Jesus, we break every curse, hex, spell, and assignment of the enemy over their lives. We cancel every word spoken in anger, bitterness, or witchcraft that was meant to harm them. We command every evil spirit attached to these curses to flee now and never return, in Jesus’ name.

Father, we also lift up this young man’s struggle with weight. We ask for Your divine intervention to bring safe, healthy, and sustainable weight loss. Give him discipline and self-control, which are fruits of Your Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23). Surround him with godly influences who will encourage him in physical health, but more importantly, remind him of his worth in You. Lord, we pray against any emotional eating or unhealthy habits rooted in past hurts. Heal his heart from any pain that has led him to seek comfort in food or other unhealthy ways. Your Word says in 3 John 1:2, "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers." We claim this promise over his life.

We also address the deep wounds of the past. Father, You are the God who binds up the brokenhearted and heals their wounds (Psalm 147:3). We ask You to bring healing to every memory, every betrayal, every moment of rejection or abuse that has left scars on his soul. Pour out Your love like a balm over his heart. Remind him that he is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14) and that his identity is found in Christ alone. Let him know that You have plans for him, plans for good and not for evil, to give him a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).

We also take a moment to address the importance of salvation. If this mother and son have not yet surrendered their lives to Jesus Christ, we pray that they would come to know Him as their Lord and Savior. There is no deliverance, no healing, and no true freedom apart from the name of Jesus. Acts 4:12 says, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" We pray that they would confess their sins, repent, and invite Jesus into their hearts. Let them experience the new birth that comes from believing in Him (John 3:3).

Holy Spirit, we invite You to move powerfully in their lives. Fill them with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Give them the strength to walk in freedom and the wisdom to guard their hearts against future attacks. Surround them with a community of believers who will stand with them in prayer and encouragement.

We pray all these things in the mighty, matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Deliverer, Healer, and Lord. Amen.

We’ve been holding you and your son in prayer since we read your request. It’s clear how much you love him and how deeply you long for him to walk in freedom and wholeness, and for you both to be released from anything that feels like a shadow over your lives.

When you ask for curses to be ended, we hear a mother’s protective heart. We want you to rest in this: in Christ, no curse has the final word. We aren’t people who have to live under a cloud of dread or old harm; Jesus has already carried every weight that could threaten us. So we are praying that God would silence every voice of fear and accusation, and give you both a steady, unshakable awareness of His shelter. Not a dramatic moment necessarily, but a growing confidence that you belong to Him and that His purposes for your son are good.

For your son’s weight loss, we’re glad you care about safety, that matters. We encourage you to walk alongside him in finding sound guidance from a doctor or dietitian who can help him care for his body wisely, not just out of shame or pressure, but out of a desire to be healthy and strong. That’s a gift you can give him: showing him that his body is worth treating with patience and kindness, not a frantic fix.

And those past hurts he carries, we pray Christ would meet him right there, in the memories he may not even know how to put into words yet. The kind of healing we’ve seen God do is often quiet, unfolding over time: a weight lifting, a new ability to breathe, a softening where there was only pain. We ask for that for him.

Let’s pray:

Father, we bring this mother and son before You. Silence every curse and lie that has hung over them, and let them know the freedom Jesus bought for them. Watch over this young man as he seeks to grow healthier; give him wise support and protect him from discouragement. And in the secret places where old wounds still ache, we ask for Your gentle, thorough healing. May they both sense Your nearness and hope. In Jesus’ name, amen.

The most accursed thing is the curse of the law, yet Christ has been made a curse for us, and there is therefore no condemnation to them that are in Him. If you are resting in Jesus, all curses are turned into blessings. The enemy would whisper that you are forsaken, but it is a lie from the pit. God hath not given you over to destruction; He has brought you forth from the power of darkness, and no curse can cling to you, for the blood of sprinkling speaks better things. As for your son, the same Lord who healeth all thy diseases can restore his body and soul. The leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, and there is a balm in Gilead for past wounds that still bleed. Bring him often to the wells of salvation, that he may drink of the water of life and find strength. Unbelief would mumble that the case is hopeless, but faith declares, "I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord." Pray boldly, for He has delivered, doth deliver, and will yet deliver.

You ask for deliverance from curses, yet the true curse lies in a soul bound to earthly things. No spell or word from another can harm you unless your heart clings to the world's dust. Flee from the fear that drives you to see magic in misfortune. Instead, hear the word with care and plant it deep, for no one part saves us: you must cultivate fortitude, scorn of riches, and freedom from all worldly attachments. The thorns that choke the seed are the cares of this life. Let the very troubles you call curses become the plow that breaks your ground, if you meet them with thanksgiving.

For your son, you pray for weight to drop and old wounds to heal. But see where the sickness truly lodges. The body's desires are kindled by the soul's consent. Do not pamper the flesh and then blame the flesh. It is the unruly will that must be mastered. Teach him to despise comfort as a tyrant, and to hunger for righteousness. If he suffers wrong from the past, show him the gain hidden in loss. To be stripped forcibly while still attached to things is greater struggle, but also greater reward. Let him not nurse bitterness like a sweet poison. Let him instead offer up the pain as alms, refusing to display it, and God will return a hundredfold. Pray then, not for an easy lifting of every weight, but that both of you, made captive to nothing earthly, stand free to serve God alone.
