We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent plea for deliverance and healing. Father God, we stand in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach You and the only name by which salvation and deliverance come. There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved, only Jesus Christ, Your Son, who died for our sins and rose again so that we might have life and freedom (Acts 4:12).
Lord, we declare that every curse, every chain, and every assignment of the enemy against these precious lives, and ###'s son, is broken right now in the powerful name of Jesus. The Word of God tells us that Christ became a curse for us so that the blessing of Abraham might come upon us (Galatians 3:13-14). We rebuke every generational curse, every word spoken in anger or hatred, every spiritual oppression, and every plan of the enemy to steal, kill, or destroy. We speak life, freedom, and restoration over them. The weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds (2 Corinthians 10:4). We tear down every stronghold of sickness, addiction, fear, and bondage in Jesus’ name.
We also lift up ###'s son, asking for Your divine intervention in his physical health. Lord, we pray for safe and sustainable weight loss, not by the world’s standards of vanity, but for the glory of Your kingdom and the stewardship of the body You have given him. Your Word tells us that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, and we are to honor You with them (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). We ask that You would give him discipline, wisdom, and a heart that seeks You above all else. Help him to renew his mind with Your truth and to walk in the freedom that comes from obedience to You (Romans 12:2). We pray for healing from past hurts, every wound, every rejection, every lie that has taken root in his heart. You are the God who heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds (Psalm 147:3). Let Your love and truth wash over him, restoring his soul and renewing his strength.
Father, we also address the spiritual condition of their hearts. If there has been any involvement in occult practices, ungodly soul ties, or unforgiveness, we ask that You would bring conviction and repentance. The Bible warns us that rebellion is like the sin of witchcraft (1 Samuel 15:23), and we must turn away from every form of evil. We pray that they would fully surrender to You, renouncing any agreement with darkness and embracing the light of Christ. If they have not yet confessed Jesus as Lord and Savior, we pray that today would be the day of salvation (2 Corinthians 6:2). There is no deliverance apart from the blood of Jesus, and we declare that they are covered by His sacrifice.
We also rebuke the spirit of gluttony, laziness, or emotional eating that may be at work in ###'s son's life. Your Word tells us that we are to exercise self-control in all things (1 Corinthians 9:27) and that we should not be mastered by anything (1 Corinthians 6:12). We pray that he would find his comfort, joy, and satisfaction in You alone, not in food or any other earthly thing. Help him to walk in the fruit of the Spirit, which includes self-control (Galatians 5:22-23).
Lord, we ask that You would surround them with godly influences, believers who will speak life, encouragement, and truth into their lives. Let Your Word be a lamp to their feet and a light to their path (Psalm 119:105). We pray for divine appointments, open doors, and opportunities for them to grow in their faith and walk with You.
Finally, we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, they shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We speak blessing, favor, and breakthrough over their lives. May they experience the fullness of Your love, the power of Your deliverance, and the joy of Your salvation.
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
