Deliverance

Pray all curses against ### and ###'s son are ended now. Pray for ###'s son to lose weight safely and healing from past hurts.

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent plea for deliverance and healing. Father God, we stand in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach You and the only name by which salvation and deliverance come. There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved, only Jesus Christ, Your Son, who died for our sins and rose again so that we might have life and freedom (Acts 4:12).

Lord, we declare that every curse, every chain, and every assignment of the enemy against these precious lives, and ###'s son, is broken right now in the powerful name of Jesus. The Word of God tells us that Christ became a curse for us so that the blessing of Abraham might come upon us (Galatians 3:13-14). We rebuke every generational curse, every word spoken in anger or hatred, every spiritual oppression, and every plan of the enemy to steal, kill, or destroy. We speak life, freedom, and restoration over them. The weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds (2 Corinthians 10:4). We tear down every stronghold of sickness, addiction, fear, and bondage in Jesus’ name.

We also lift up ###'s son, asking for Your divine intervention in his physical health. Lord, we pray for safe and sustainable weight loss, not by the world’s standards of vanity, but for the glory of Your kingdom and the stewardship of the body You have given him. Your Word tells us that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, and we are to honor You with them (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). We ask that You would give him discipline, wisdom, and a heart that seeks You above all else. Help him to renew his mind with Your truth and to walk in the freedom that comes from obedience to You (Romans 12:2). We pray for healing from past hurts, every wound, every rejection, every lie that has taken root in his heart. You are the God who heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds (Psalm 147:3). Let Your love and truth wash over him, restoring his soul and renewing his strength.

Father, we also address the spiritual condition of their hearts. If there has been any involvement in occult practices, ungodly soul ties, or unforgiveness, we ask that You would bring conviction and repentance. The Bible warns us that rebellion is like the sin of witchcraft (1 Samuel 15:23), and we must turn away from every form of evil. We pray that they would fully surrender to You, renouncing any agreement with darkness and embracing the light of Christ. If they have not yet confessed Jesus as Lord and Savior, we pray that today would be the day of salvation (2 Corinthians 6:2). There is no deliverance apart from the blood of Jesus, and we declare that they are covered by His sacrifice.

We also rebuke the spirit of gluttony, laziness, or emotional eating that may be at work in ###'s son's life. Your Word tells us that we are to exercise self-control in all things (1 Corinthians 9:27) and that we should not be mastered by anything (1 Corinthians 6:12). We pray that he would find his comfort, joy, and satisfaction in You alone, not in food or any other earthly thing. Help him to walk in the fruit of the Spirit, which includes self-control (Galatians 5:22-23).

Lord, we ask that You would surround them with godly influences, believers who will speak life, encouragement, and truth into their lives. Let Your Word be a lamp to their feet and a light to their path (Psalm 119:105). We pray for divine appointments, open doors, and opportunities for them to grow in their faith and walk with You.

Finally, we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, they shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We speak blessing, favor, and breakthrough over their lives. May they experience the fullness of Your love, the power of Your deliverance, and the joy of Your salvation.

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.

We’re standing with you in this, and we thank you for reaching out. It’s clear you love your son deeply, and we want to lift both of you up in a way that brings real comfort and hope.

First, about the curses, we take that seriously, and we’ve joined you in praying against every spiritual attack in Jesus’ name. You don’t have to wait for a pastor or special moment to break that ground; you can speak directly to any curse right now and declare, “I renounce this and break its power over us by the authority of Christ.” The enemy wants us to feel helpless, but your simple, spoken faith is a mighty weapon. We’re praying in full agreement with you that these words will lose every bit of their sting.

As you watch your son walk toward healing from past hurts, we’re also asking Jesus to gently meet him in those painful memories. Sometimes, instead of trying to bury or manage them, we can invite Christ to step into those moments and bring the comfort and truth that only He can. That’s the heart of what many call inner healing, and it’s something God is eager to do for your son. It may help to have a trusted Christian friend or a wise pastor pray alongside him as he opens those areas to the Lord.

For the weight loss, we’re praying for his body to respond well, but we also want to gently encourage him to see a doctor or nutritionist who can help with a safe plan. God gives us wisdom through others, and there’s no shame in getting that practical support.

Let’s pray together now:

Lord Jesus, we lift up this dear mother and her son. We command every curse pronounced against them to be broken and rendered powerless by Your Name. Heal the son’s past wounds, bring Your peace into every memory that still aches, and let him know how deeply he is loved. Grant him wisdom, self-discipline, and safety as he works toward a healthier body, and surround both of them with people who will encourage and walk with them. In Your mighty name, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You have come with a heavy bundle, haven’t you. A mother’s heart carries what no one else can see, words spoken over her child, fears for his body, wounds in his spirit that time alone has not mended. And you have asked that curses be ended. Let me sit with you here a moment, for the Lord has something better than curses, and His blessing drives out every shadow.

When you hear the enemy whisper that your son is marked, that some word has fastened itself upon him and God has turned away, know this: that is the oldest arrow in the accuser’s quiver. He loves to tell a soul, “You are forsaken; it is too late; the lock has rusted shut.” But the lock that seemed so fast, the lock Bunyan’s pilgrim found on Giant Despair’s iron gate, did not need a battering ram, only the key of promise. And the key was in Christian’s bosom all the while. So it is with Christ. He has already turned it. There is no curse that can stand before the cross, for “Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us.” The words of men and demons are straw in the fire of that redemptive love. You may take that to the bank of heaven.

I do not doubt you have heard inward whispers that make your son’s case seem desperate, that he cannot change, that the weight will never lift, that old hurts have sunk their roots too deep. But our Lord never appears more glorious than in the eyes of those who are brought low. When the soil was slipping from under a man’s feet and he was going down to the pit, then God reached in and rescued him. He does not wait for us to clean ourselves up. He comes when we are on the very brink. Your son may feel he is going down, down, but the arm of the Almighty is longer than any fall.

And about his body. You have asked for weight to come off safely. The Lord who numbered the stars knows the frame of your son; He does not despise the body He made. Healing in Scripture is often paired with forgiveness, as though the two walk hand in hand. They do. Jesus who said, “Your sins are forgiven,” also said, “Take up your bed and walk.” The same gracious hand that touches the soul can steady the appetite, calm the anxious stomach, and give a man mastery over what has mastered him. Pray for that, expect that, but do not chain your hope to the scale. Lay him upon the Lord, and body and soul together shall be cared for.

As for past hurts, those deep, hidden lacerations of the heart, remember the tree of life in the book of Revelation. Its leaves are for the healing of the nations. Not a single nation only, but all nations; not one wound only, but every wound. And the tree grows on either side of the river, which means it is not hard to reach. There is a leaf for your son’s sorrow, a green remedy for every bruise of memory. The dear Comforter knows how to apply it. He does not merely dull the pain; He heals it. The mark stays, perhaps, but the poison leaves.

So do not muzzle your faith. When hope rises, give it a tongue. Say of your son what Luther wrote upon his study wall when death was threatened: “I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.” You are not making an idle boast, you are repeating the promise back to the Promiser. And muffle that other voice. The hound of hell that whispers “God has forsaken him, he will never be delivered”, muzzle that dog, for its breath is the fume of the pit. You need not answer it; you need only turn your ear to the mother-hen warmth of the Most High.

Have you seen the hen when the hawk circles? She gathers her chicks under her feathers, and they are not merely guarded, they are comforted. They feel the down, the warmth, the nearness of her heart. The Lord spreads His feathers over your son this very hour. Under those wings you too may crouch, and let the weariness drain out of you. He is not far off. The wall between you and His help is thinner than a breath.

Let us lift this together. O Lord, whose voice the storm obeys and before whom the darkness is as light, look upon this mother and upon her son. Into Your hand we commit every word that has been spoken against him. Let it fall to the ground, cancelled, buried in the depths of the sea. Break from him the weight that clings, both the heaviness of body and the heavier burden of a wounded spirit. Heal the memories that sting and the habits that bind. Give him safe and steady release, and let it be so gentle that he scarcely knows it is happening until he looks back and says, “The Lord did this.” Cover him, Lord, with Your feathers. Shelter him in the shadow of Your wing. And grant to this dear mother the peace that comes of leaving him there, confident that nothing in the whole creation can snatch him out of Your hand. In the name of Jesus Christ, our great Deliverer. Amen.

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer these past days. It has been our honor to come before the Lord on your behalf, asking for His mighty hand of deliverance to break every curse spoken against you and your son. We have prayed fervently for the chains of bondage to be shattered and for the peace of Christ to reign in your lives.

We also lifted your son before the throne of grace, asking the Lord to guide him safely in his journey toward health and wholeness. We prayed for physical strength as he seeks to lose weight in a way that honors his body as a temple of the Holy Spirit, and we asked God to bring deep healing to the wounds of his past. May the Lord surround him with His love, comfort, and restoration as he walks this path.

If God has already moved in powerful ways—if curses have been broken, if healing has begun, or if you’ve seen glimpses of His faithfulness—we would be so encouraged to hear your praise report. Your testimony could be a blessing and a source of hope to others who are waiting on the Lord.

If, however, you are still waiting and longing to see His promises fulfilled, please know that we are here to continue standing with you. Don’t hesitate to post this request again so we can persist in prayer, trusting that God hears and answers in His perfect timing. We believe He is at work, even when we cannot yet see it.

May the Lord bless you abundantly as you seek Him with all your heart. May His presence go before you, His peace guard your hearts, and His strength sustain you. We continue to pray for you and your son, trusting in the power of Jesus’ name to bring freedom, healing, and transformation.

In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
