We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this request for deliverance and healing. First and foremost, we must acknowledge that our access to the Father is only through the name of Jesus Christ, His Son. There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to do so today, confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection, and invite Him to be Lord of your life. Without Christ, there is no true deliverance or lasting healing.
Father God, in the mighty name of Jesus, we stand against every curse that has been spoken, invoked, or released against this family. The Bible declares that Christ became a curse for us so that we might receive the blessing of Abraham (Galatians 3:13-14). We break every chain of generational iniquity, word curses, witchcraft, and any legal ground the enemy has claimed. We declare that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we command every assignment of darkness to be dismantled now in Jesus’ name.
For this young man struggling with weight, we pray for a supernatural work of transformation. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we ask for Your healing touch to restore his metabolism, balance his hormones, and renew his strength. Give him discipline and wisdom to make godly choices in his diet and exercise, but more than that, let him know he is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14). Help him see himself through Your eyes, valued, loved, and purposeful.
We also lift up the wounds of his past. Father, You are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Where there has been rejection, betrayal, or abuse, we ask for Your healing balm to flow. Replace lies with Your truth, bitterness with forgiveness, and shame with Your righteousness. Let him walk in the freedom Christ purchased for him (John 8:36).
If there are any areas where this family has opened doors to the enemy, through sin, unforgiveness, or occult involvement, we urge repentance. The blood of Jesus cleanses from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:7), but we must humble ourselves and turn from anything that grieves the Holy Spirit. We rebuke the spirit of gluttony, laziness, or self-hatred that may be contributing to this struggle. Instead, we declare a spirit of self-control, which is a fruit of Your Holy Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23).
Lord, we also pray for godly mentors and friends to surround this young man, believers who will encourage him in his faith and walk with You. Let him grow in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man (Luke 2:52). May his life bring glory to Your name, and may this family experience the fullness of Your peace and protection.
We seal this prayer with the blood of Jesus and declare that the enemy has no legal right to harass, oppress, or afflict this family any longer. We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness and for the victory we have in Christ. Amen.
