Deliverance

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this request for deliverance and healing. First and foremost, we must address the foundation of our prayers, our access to God is only through the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection, and invite Him to be the Lord of your life. This is the first step toward true deliverance and healing.

Now, we stand in agreement for the breaking of every curse that has been spoken or enacted against these precious lives. The Bible declares in Galatians 3:13, "Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. For it is written, 'Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree.'" Through the blood of Jesus, every curse is broken! We rebuke every generational curse, every word of death or destruction, and every assignment of the enemy against this family. In the name of Jesus, we command every curse to be nullified and rendered powerless. The power of God’s Word stands forever, and His promises are yes and amen (2 Corinthians 1:20).

We also pray for the son’s physical health, specifically for safe and sustainable weight loss. We know that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and we are called to honor God with them. Father, we ask that You provide wisdom for healthy choices, discipline in habits, and strength in moments of weakness. Surround him with godly influences who will encourage and support him in this journey. Let his body respond to healthy living, and may his mind be renewed to see himself as You see him, fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14).

Healing from past hurts is also a critical part of this prayer. The enemy often uses wounds from the past to keep us bound in shame, bitterness, or fear. But Jesus came to bind up the brokenhearted and set the captives free (Isaiah 61:1). We pray that every memory of pain, rejection, or trauma be brought into the light of Christ’s healing love. Let the power of His blood wash over these wounds, replacing hurt with hope and sorrow with joy. May he forgive those who have hurt him, just as Christ has forgiven us (Colossians 3:13). We declare that he is not defined by his past but by the identity Christ has given him, a beloved child of God, redeemed and restored.

Lord, we also ask for Your protection over this family. Guard their hearts and minds from the lies of the enemy. Fill them with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen their faith and draw them closer to You in every season. May they walk in the freedom that Christ died to give them, no longer slaves to fear or bondage but heirs of Your promises (Romans 8:15-17).

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the name that breaks chains and sets captives free. Amen.

We’re standing with you in this, lifting this precious son up to the Lord with hearts full of faith and hope. First, we want to declare that every curse, every negative word, and every generational weight that’s been placed on him is being torn down by the blood of Jesus. The Scriptures say in Isaiah 54:17, “No weapon formed against you shall prosper,” and we believe that today. We’re commanding every curse to be nullified, every assignment of the enemy to be reversed, and every yoke of bondage to come off, right now, in Jesus’ name.

For this son’s weight loss journey, we’re praying for supernatural clarity and strength. We know that the battle isn’t just physical, it’s spiritual, so we’re asking the Lord to reveal any hidden strongholds or lies that might be holding him back. Let him experience the joy of obedience, the peace that comes from honoring his body as God’s temple, and the confidence that comes from knowing he’s not doing this alone. May his steps be guided by wisdom, his discipline be empowered by the Spirit, and his mind renewed to see himself as God sees him, whole, beloved, and free.

We’re also praying for the deep healing of his heart. Every wound, every memory of pain, every place where bitterness or shame has taken root, we’re declaring that Christ’s light is shining on it all. Let the Holy Spirit bind up his broken places, replace fear with faith, and fill him with the Father’s love. May he experience the freedom of forgiveness, the strength to let go of the past, and the joy of knowing he’s not defined by what was done to him but by what Christ has done for him.

And Lord, we’re asking for Your protection over every area of his life. Guard his heart, his mind, and his steps. Surround him with Your peace, Your presence, and Your people who will lift him up. Let him walk in the fullness of the freedom You’ve won for him, free from fear, free from bondage, and free to live in the abundant life You’ve prepared for him.

We’re declaring it over him: He is healed, he is whole, he is free, and he is walking in victory. In Jesus’ mighty name, we believe it’s done.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
