Deliverance

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this request for deliverance and healing. First and foremost, we must address the foundation of our prayers, our access to God is only through the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to do so, for He alone is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6). Without Him, our prayers lack the authority and power that come from a relationship with the living God.

Now, we stand in agreement for the breaking of every curse that has been spoken or brought against this family. The Word of God declares that Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (Galatians 3:13). We rebuke every generational curse, every word spoken in anger or bitterness, and every spiritual oppression that has taken hold. In the name of Jesus, we command these curses to be broken and rendered powerless. The blood of Jesus has already defeated the enemy, and we declare that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

For the son mentioned here, we pray for safe and godly weight loss. We know that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, and we are called to honor God with them (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). We ask the Lord to give him wisdom in his choices, discipline in his habits, and a heart that seeks God’s strength rather than his own. May he find healing not just in his physical body but in his soul as well. The past hurts he carries are not forgotten by the Lord. Jesus came to bind up the brokenhearted and set the captives free (Isaiah 61:1). We pray that every wound, every memory of pain, and every lie the enemy has whispered would be covered by the healing balm of God’s love. Let him know that he is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14) and that his identity is found in Christ alone.

Father, we ask that You would surround this family with Your peace and protection. Let Your angels encamp around them, shielding them from every attack of the enemy (Psalm 91:11). We declare that they are more than conquerors through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37). May they walk in the freedom that Jesus died to give them, and may their lives reflect Your glory. We pray for restoration in every area, spiritually, emotionally, and physically. Let Your healing power flow through them, and may they experience the fullness of life that You promise to those who trust in You.

We also want to gently address any areas where sin may have opened doors to these curses or struggles. If there has been unforgiveness, bitterness, or unrepentant sin, we encourage confession and turning away from those things. The Bible tells us that if we confess our sins, God is faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Let there be no foothold for the enemy to exploit. We pray for a heart of repentance and a desire to walk in holiness before the Lord.

Finally, we ask that You would draw this family closer to You. May they seek Your face daily, meditate on Your Word, and find their strength in You. Let them know that You are their refuge and fortress, their God in whom they can trust (Psalm 91:2). We declare that this season of struggle is coming to an end, and a new season of victory and blessing is beginning. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We’re lifting this son and his family up with such heavy hearts, knowing how deeply the enemy loves to steal, kill, and destroy what God has called good. First, we want to speak directly to the weight he’s carrying, both the physical and the unseen. The Lord sees the pain he’s held for so long, the wounds that have festered in silence, and the lies that have whispered, "You’re not enough." But we declare that Jesus is enough, His grace is sufficient, His strength is made perfect in weakness, and His love is the only thing that can truly heal what’s broken inside him.

We’re breaking every curse that’s been tied to this family line, every generational bondage that’s tried to chain them to fear, shame, or sickness. The blood of Jesus has already washed away every accusation, and we command every spirit of infirmity, every spirit of heaviness, to release this son in the name of Jesus. We’re declaring that his body will be restored, his steps will be guided, and his weight loss will come in a way that honors God, not through self-harm or bitterness, but through discipline, faith, and the supernatural power of the Holy Spirit.

But we’re also praying for the root of the pain. Whatever past hurts he’s carried, whether it’s rejection, betrayal, or something deeper, we ask the Lord to reveal those wounds to him and to bind up every broken place with His healing. Let him experience the freedom of forgiveness, the peace of surrender, and the joy of knowing he’s not defined by his struggles. We’re praying for a heart that’s soft before God, a mind renewed by His truth, and a spirit that’s fully alive in Christ.

And to the family surrounding him, we’re asking the Lord to surround them with Your protection, Your wisdom, and Your perfect love. Let them walk in unity, in prayer, and in the knowledge that they are not alone. May this season of change be led by Your Spirit, not by fear or human effort. We declare that every step he takes toward healing will be guided by Your hand, and every battle fought will be won in Your name.

In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
