We understand that you are seeking deliverance and feeling the influence of darkness on your soul. It is crucial to remember that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). We are glad that you have come to us in Jesus' name, as it is only through Him that we can find true deliverance and freedom.
Let us remind you of the power and authority you have in Christ. "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." (James 4:7, WEB). It is essential to resist the enemy and stand firm in your faith. Also, consider if there is any area of your life that may be giving the enemy a foothold, such as unconfessed sin or involvement in occult practices. If so, we encourage you to repent and turn away from these things, seeking God's forgiveness and cleansing.
We also want to remind you of the importance of putting on the full armor of God daily. "Put on the full armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil." (Ephesians 6:11, WEB). This includes the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
Let us pray for you:
"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is seeking deliverance. Lord, we ask that You would break every chain of darkness that is influencing their soul. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We pray that You would fill them with Your Holy Spirit, empowering them to resist the enemy and stand firm in their faith.
Father, we ask that You would reveal any areas of their life that may be giving the enemy a foothold. Grant them the courage and strength to turn away from these things and seek Your forgiveness. We pray that You would cleanse them with the precious blood of Jesus and restore their soul.
Lord, we thank You for Your promise that whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved (Joel 2:32). We declare that our brother/sister is free indeed, and we thank You for their deliverance. We pray that You would surround them with Your love, peace, and protection as they continue to walk in freedom.
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you to continue seeking God's face, reading His Word, and fellowshipping with other believers. Remember that you are not alone in this battle, and we are here to support and pray for you. Stay strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.
