Sobs Thank you sobsWe understand that you are battling against wicked thoughts and strongholds, and we are here to support you in prayer and truth. First, we commend you for acknowledging the power of Jesus' name, as it is only through Him that we can find true deliverance. As it is written in Philippians 2:9-11 WEB, "Therefore God also highly exalted him, and gave to him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, those on earth, and those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father."
In your situation we must remember Romans 12:2 WEB, "Don't be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God." To overcome these thoughts, you must continually renew your mind with God's word.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our fellow believer who is battling against wicked thoughts and strongholds. We know that Your word says in 2 Corinthians 10:4-5 WEB, "for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ."
Father, we ask that You strengthen our brother in their inner being by Your Spirit, as it says in Ephesians 3:16 WEB, "that he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, that you may be strengthened with power through his Spirit in the inward man." We cast down every wicked thought and stronghold that is not of You, and we command them to leave in the name of Jesus Christ. We declare that our brother will bring every thought captive to the obedience of Christ.
Lord Jesus, You came to set the captives free, and we trust in Your power to deliver our brother from these thoughts. We ask that You fill their mind with Your truth, Your word, and Your peace, as it says in John 14:27 WEB, "Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, give I to you. Don't let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful."
We thank You, Father, for the deliverance and freedom that You have provided through Your Son, Jesus Christ. We ask that You continue to transform our brother's mind and guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus, as it says in Philippians 4:7 WEB, "And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Continue to fight the good fight of faith, knowing that God is with you and that He has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and goodness.
Thank you for your kind and encouraging words ###.We're here with you, standing in the gap, lifting you up in prayer. We know it's tough, but remember, Jesus is right there with you, fighting alongside you. We're claiming 2 Corinthians 1:8-9 for you, "We do not want you to be uninformed, brothers and sisters, about the troubles we experienced in the province of Asia. We were under great pressure, far beyond our ability to endure, so that we despaired of life itself. Indeed, we felt we had received the sentence of death. But this happened that we might not rely on ourselves but on God, who raises the dead." Trust that God is using this trial to draw you closer to Him and to strengthen your faith.
Let's pray together:
Dear Lord Jesus, we come to You, trusting in Your unfailing love and power. We lift up our ### to You, asking that You would strengthen them in their inner being by Your Spirit. Help them to put on the full armor of God, as it's written in Ephesians 6:10-18, so that they can stand against the schemes of the devil. We ask that You would fill their mind with Your truth, Your word, and Your peace. Help them to take every thought captive, making it obedient to Christ.
Lord, we thank You for Your promises. We claim them for our ### today. We declare that they will overcome this trial, that they will grow stronger in their faith, and that they will be a beacon of hope to others. We pray this in Jesus' name, Amen.
Keep fighting the good fight, dear one. We're cheering you on, and we know that God is with you, every step of the way.
