We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, yet full of faith in the power of Jesus Christ, who alone can break every chain and set the captives free. Your cry for deliverance has been heard, and we join with you in standing on the promises of God’s Word, declaring that where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom (2 Corinthians 3:17).
First, we must address the spiritual warfare you are experiencing with boldness and clarity. The enemy seeks to entangle believers in ungodly soul ties, spiritual oppression, and emotional burdens that do not align with God’s will. The man you referenced—though unnamed—appears to have established a connection with you in the spiritual realm that is not of God. We rebuke every unholy tie, every demonic assignment, and every spirit of control or manipulation that has sought to bind you. In the name of Jesus, we declare these ties severed by the power of His blood, which cleanses and breaks every curse (Galatians 3:13). The Word of God is clear: *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that accuses you in judgment. This is the heritage of the Lord’s servants, and their righteousness is from me,"* says the Lord (Isaiah 54:17).
We also stand with you on 2 Corinthians 10:3-5, tearing down every stronghold that has been erected in your life through this connection. Strongholds are not just physical or emotional—they are spiritual fortresses built by the enemy to keep you in bondage. But the weapons of our warfare are not carnal; they are mighty through God to the pulling down of these strongholds. We take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ, and we declare that every lie, every fear, and every false attachment is demolished in Jesus’ name. The enemy may have whispered that this burden is yours to carry, but Jesus says, *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest"* (Matthew 11:28). You are not meant to carry this oppression—Christ has already borne it on the cross.
Your request for this man to find happiness with someone else is a godly desire, reflecting a heart that seeks peace and freedom. We pray that God would indeed lead him to a relationship that honors Him, one that is built on the foundation of Christ and aligned with His Word. But we must also address the root of this spiritual oppression. The burden you feel toward him is not from the Lord—it is a snare of the enemy to keep you entangled in something that is not God’s best for you. We declare that the blood of Jesus, which speaks a better word than the blood of Abel (Hebrews 12:24), clears your path and sets you free from this oppression. Revelation 12:11 declares that believers overcome the enemy by the blood of the Lamb and the word of their testimony. Your testimony today is that Jesus has set you free, and you will not be bound again!
We also rebuke every way this man—or any spirit working through him—has been used against you in the spiritual realm. Zechariah 3:2 is a powerful reminder that the Lord Himself rebukes the accuser: *"May the Lord rebuke you, Satan! Yes, may the Lord rebuke you, who has chosen Jerusalem."* We stand in agreement with this Scripture, declaring that every accusation, every curse, and every demonic assignment sent your way is rebuked and rendered powerless in the name of Jesus. The enemy has no authority over you—you are a child of the Most High God, and greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
Now, we lift you up in prayer:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the name by which every knee must bow and every tongue confess that He is Lord (Philippians 2:9-11). Lord, we thank You for Your daughter’s faith and her desire to walk in freedom. We declare that she is no longer bound by ungodly soul ties, spiritual oppression, or emotional burdens that do not align with Your will. We plead the blood of Jesus over her life, her mind, her heart, and her spirit. By the power of Your Holy Spirit, we break every chain, sever every unholy tie, and command every demonic spirit to flee in Jesus’ name.
Father, we ask that You would heal every wound, mend every broken place, and restore her soul. Fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and let her walk in the freedom that Christ died to give her. We pray for the man involved—that You would open his eyes to the truth, lead him to repentance, and guide him into a relationship that honors You. But for our sister, we ask that You would remove every trace of this burden from her heart. Let her know, deep in her spirit, that she is free, loved, and called according to Your purpose.
Lord, we also ask that You would fill the void that this spiritual oppression has left. Let her hunger and thirst for righteousness, and let her find her satisfaction in You alone (Psalm 107:9). Surround her with godly community, wise counsel, and opportunities to grow in her faith. May she walk in the fullness of Your Spirit, bearing the fruit of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23).
We declare that no weapon formed against her will prosper, and every tongue that rises against her in judgment, she will condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We cover her in the armor of God—the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is Your Word (Ephesians 6:14-17). With this armor, she is equipped to stand against the schemes of the devil.
Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness. We thank You that Your plans for her are for good and not for harm, to give her a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). We trust that as she continues to seek You, You will direct her paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). Strengthen her, Lord, and let her rise up in the authority You have given her as Your child. May she walk in victory, not as one who is defeated, but as more than a conqueror through Christ who loves her (Romans 8:37).
In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
Beloved, we encourage you to stand firm in the freedom Christ has given you. Do not entertain thoughts or emotions that seek to pull you back into bondage. Renew your mind with the Word of God daily, and surround yourself with believers who will hold you accountable and pray for you. If you have not already, consider seeking godly counsel from a pastor or trusted spiritual leader who can help you walk through this process of deliverance and healing.
Remember, the enemy will try to convince you that you are still bound, but the truth is that Jesus has already set you free. Walk in that freedom, and do not let the enemy steal your joy or your peace. You are a child of God, and He has great plans for you. Trust in Him, lean on Him, and let Him lead you into the abundant life He has promised (John 10:10). The battle is already won—now it is time to walk in the victory!
