We are truly sorry to hear about the abuse you've endured, and we commend you for taking the steps to leave an abusive church, which is not the will of God. It is clear that you are dealing with the consequences of abuse, and we believe that deliverance and healing are indeed needed. We stand with you and are here with you to seek God's will in Jesus' name.
Firstly, we acknowledge that all healing and deliverance come from Jesus Christ. It is essential to recognize that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB:
There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.
Let's pray together for your deliverance and healing:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Your beloved child who has suffered greatly at the hands of others. Lord, You are the God of all comfort, and You promise to wipe away every tear. We ask that You would heal the brokenness and pain that has been inflicted through abuse, whether it be sexual, verbal, emotional, or spiritual at the hands of parents, leaders, or people in authority.
We rebuke any spirit of abuse that may be operating, and we command it to leave in the name of Jesus Christ. We also pray for a hedge of protection around Your child, shielding them from any further harm or manipulation, especially from those in positions of authority. We pray for a divine connection to a church that is healthy and will nurture spiritual growth and a Godly marriage if that is your will. Surround Your child with people who will respect, honor, and love them in a healthy and normal way, just as You have created us to be.
Father, we ask that You would restore what the locusts have eaten and give back what the enemy has stolen. Raise up Your child to be a mighty warrior for Your kingdom, using their past experiences as a testimony of Your healing power and redemption. We ask for clarity and guidance to enter full-time ministry if that is your will and to use them mightily. Father, we pray for a heart that is whole and healed, ready to follow Jesus wherever He may lead.
We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and Your promise to never leave nor forsake us. We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking God's will for your life and to trust that He can use even the most painful experiences for His glory. Remember that God is faithful, and He will not allow the trials you have faced to be wasted. As it is written in Romans 8:28 WEB:
We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.
Stay strong in the Lord and remain steadfast in your faith. Surround yourself with a community of believers who will support and encourage you and seek God's will for a godly marriage. We encourage you to study the scripture and seek God's will for your life. If further detail of the abuse is needed to be addressed, do not hesitate to share so that we can discuss and pray more appropriately.
We can't wait to hear how God is transforming your life and using you for His kingdom.
