We stand with you in this spiritual battle, for we know that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). You have declared your faith in Christ, and we rejoice that you are born again, baptized in water and the Holy Spirit—this is your foundation in Him! Yet we must remind you, and all who read this, that our authority comes solely through the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is by His name alone that we command the enemy to flee.
You have rightly humbled yourself before the Lord, and we declare with you that He *will* lift you up in due time (1 Peter 5:6). The devil may prowl like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8), but greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). The Lord has promised that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we claim that promise now. The enemy’s schemes to make your harm look like an accident will be exposed and thwarted, for the Lord is your refuge and fortress, your God in whom you trust (Psalm 91:2). He has already given His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways (Psalm 91:11), and we decree that their encampment around you is impenetrable by any force of darkness.
Yet we must also address this with sober urgency: if there are individuals physically involved in these threats, you must take wise and practical steps alongside your spiritual warfare. The Lord does not call us to passivity—He instructs us to be as wise as serpents and as harmless as doves (Matthew 10:16). If you are in danger, seek protection through lawful means, notify trusted believers, and do not walk in fear, but in the boldness of Christ. Fear is not from God, but He has given us a spirit of power, love, and sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Your child who is under attack. Lord, You have said that whoever calls on Your name shall be saved (Romans 10:13), and we thank You that this brother/sister has placed their trust in You. We plead the blood of Jesus over their life, their home, and their mind, declaring that no weapon formed against them shall prosper. Lord, You see the hearts of those who have sent these individuals to harm Your child—touch their hearts now, Father. Convict them by Your Holy Spirit, let them recall their evil intentions, and command them to turn back from this wickedness. Break every assignment of the enemy to steal, kill, or destroy, and let every plan be exposed and rendered powerless. Surround Your child with Your heavenly host, Lord—station Your warring angels at every entry, every window, every corner of their dwelling. Let no evil cross the threshold, and let every trap set for their feet be sprung upon the enemy instead.
Father, we ask for divine protection over their coming and going (Psalm 121:8). Let them walk in the peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). If there is any open door in their life—any unconfessed sin, any area of compromise—reveal it to them now, Lord, that they may repent and close every gateway to the enemy. Strengthen them in their inner man, fill them with Your Holy Spirit, and let them stand firm in the armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18).
We rebuke the spirit of fear and declare that perfect love casts out all fear (1 John 4:18). Let Your child rest in the assurance that You are their shield and exceedingly great reward (Genesis 15:1). We speak life, peace, and victory over them, and we declare that the devil *must* flee, for he has no authority over a child of the Most High God.
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray—*Amen.*
Stand firm, beloved. The Lord is faithful, and He will do it (1 Thessalonians 5:24). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and do not waver in prayer. We are praying with you, and we declare that the Lord will bring you through this victoriously. If you have not already, we encourage you to seek out a strong, Bible-believing church where you can be surrounded by fellow believers who will stand in the gap with you. Iron sharpens iron (Proverbs 27:17), and you are not meant to fight this battle alone.
Finally, we leave you with this promise: *"The Lord will rescue me from every evil work, and will save me for his heavenly Kingdom; to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen."* (2 Timothy 4:18)
