Deliverance Prayer

Beloved of All
Lord Jesus,

I praise you, and thank you. I glorify you. Lord Jesus I ask that you root out all the abuse that my brother has over me, standing on Jeremiah 12:14. Lord Jesus I ask that you protect me from my brothers abuse, standing on Isaiah 54;17. Lord Jesus cover me with your precious blood that it may protect me, standing on Revelations 12:11. Lord Jesus I ask that you set me free from my brothers abuse, standing on John 8:36. Lord Jesus I don’t know why this brother of mine has not been rooted out of the house, standing on Jeremiah 12:14. Lord Jesus I ask that you cover me with your precious blood, standing on Revelations 12:11. Lord Jesus I ask that you cancel all of my brothers abuse and remove all strongholds and footholds that he is trying to create over me, standing on 2 Corinthians 10:3-5. Scatter my moms and my brother attacks towards me, standing on Exodus 23:27.

Lord Jesus I ask that you lift your standards for me against the attacks over me by my brother, standing on Isaiah 59:19.

Lord Jesus I ask that you place your protection over me, standing on Revelations 12:11. In Jesus name I pray and ask. Amen.

We join you in lifting up this burden before the Lord and we thank you for calling upon the name of Lord Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that we find deliverance and salvation. We hear the pain in your cry for protection from the abuse and attacks from your brother and your mother, and we stand with you asking God to be your refuge and defender.

The Lord sees what is done in secret and He is near to those who are hurting. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit Psalm 34:18. He does not take lightly the oppression of His children and He is mighty to save. We are reminded that our struggle is not only against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces, for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ 2 Corinthians 10:4-5. We claim that truth over you, that every foothold and stronghold the enemy has tried to build over your life through abuse and intimidation would be torn down by the power of God.

We pray standing on the promises you have lifted up, trusting not in formulas but in the living God who keeps His word. No weapon that is formed against you will prevail and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh's servants, and their righteousness is of me, says Yahweh Isaiah 54:17. They overcame him because of the Lamb's blood, and because of the word of their testimony Revelation 12:11. If therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed John 8:36. So shall they fear Yahweh's name from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun for he will come as a rushing stream, which Yahweh's breath drives Isaiah 59:19. And as you prayed from Exodus 23:27, we ask that God will send confusion upon every attack formed against you and cause those who rise against you to turn back.

We also want to encourage you with both spiritual and practical wisdom. God is your ultimate protector, He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress my God, in whom I trust Psalm 91:1-2. At the same time, the Lord often provides protection through godly people and wise boundaries. If you are in physical danger or experiencing ongoing abuse in your home, we urge you to reach out to a trusted pastor, a mature believer, a counselor, or the appropriate authorities who can help ensure your safety. Seeking help is not a lack of faith but an act of wisdom. God calls us to forgive as He has forgiven us, yet forgiveness does not mean remaining without boundaries where harm continues. The Lord desires your safety and wholeness.

We also pray for your brother and your mother, that God would convict their hearts and bring them to repentance and to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, for God desires that none should perish but that all should come to repentance.

We pray together now.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ. We praise You and give You thanks and we glorify Your holy name. Lord Jesus, we ask that You cover our dear one with Your precious blood and let that covering be a shield of protection. We ask that You root out every work of abuse and oppression and that You break every chain that has held them in fear. Set them free indeed, Lord, and let no weapon formed against them prosper. We ask that You lift up Your standard against every attack, that You dismantle every stronghold and foothold, and that You scatter every plan of the enemy. Surround them with Your presence as a fortress, give them peace that passes understanding, and guide them to safe and godly counsel and help. Heal the wounds that abuse has left on their heart and mind, and restore what has been broken. We also lift up their brother and mother to You, ask for Your mercy upon them, that You would soften their hearts, convict them of sin, and draw them to Yourself. Let Your will be done in this home and let Your justice and Your mercy prevail. We trust You as our deliverer and our refuge and we ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

We encourage you to remain in prayer and in the Word daily, to stay connected to a Bible believing fellowship where you can be supported and protected, and to keep proclaiming the truth that you are overcome by the blood of the Lamb. The Lord is with you and He will not forsake you.

If you are in immediate danger, please contact your local emergency services right now. For free, confidential support, you can find a helpline in your country at findahelpline.com, caring, trained people are ready to help right now. You are not alone.

We have read your prayer and we hear how heavy this has been, longing for safety and peace in your own home while facing hurt from your brother and tension with your mom. We are grateful you reached out and that you have been bringing this to Jesus so persistently. Wanting to be safe and free from abuse is right and understandable.

When abuse is happening at home it can leave you feeling powerless and isolated, and it is important not to carry this alone. Alongside prayer, it can help to talk with a safe, trusted person who can help you think through next steps for your safety. That might be a pastor, a counselor, or a local domestic violence advocate who understands safety planning and resources in your area. If you have someone you trust, consider letting them know what is happening and asking them to help you make a plan for when you feel unsafe, including where you could go and who you could call.

We are praying for you and we will keep praying.

Father, we lift our brother to You and ask for Your protection over him. Surround him with Your presence, give him wisdom for each decision, and provide safe people to walk with him. Bring healing where there has been hurt and guide his steps toward peace and safety. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your prayer has come before the Lord and before His people, and we have heard the sorrow of your heart under the heavy hand of affliction in your own house.

Be assured that in all that God does He acts from good reasons, and even when troubles come distinctly from man, as the result of malice or abuse, they do not spring out of the dust, but the Lord Himself sits as a Refiner at the door of the furnace. It is well to have grace enough to see this, for that which we receive as from the hand of our Father bears the blessed aspect of chastening and is made profitable to us, and it helps us to moderate our anger against second causes while we look to Him alone for deliverance.

For deliverance is by divine power and by divine power alone. No easy word of man can loosen the captive from spiritual bondage or from the cruelty of oppressors. It is not of him that wills nor of him that runs, but of God that shows mercy. He is gracious unto the afflicted and says, Deliver him from going down to the Pit, I have found a ransom. Nobody would have thought of that way of deliverance if God had not thought of it, but He has found a ransom in the precious blood of His own Son. By that blood we overcome, and by that blood you may be covered and kept. The King’s own Son has borne the penalty of all iniquity, and therefore there is undeserved deliverance for those who trust in Him.

We join you then in pleading the promises you have set before the Lord. We ask the Lord Jesus to be your defense, that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and that every tongue and every hand lifted against you shall be shown to be without power before Him. We pray that He who makes free indeed will set you free, for whom the Son makes free is free indeed, and that He will pull down every stronghold and cast down every imagination that exalts itself against the knowledge of God. We ask Him to lift up His standard against the flood of attacks that press upon you, and to scatter those who would do you harm, and to keep back your soul from the pit and your life from perishing.

Remember also that though deliverance is of the Lord, it is His ordinary way to work by human instrumentality. The arrow of the Lord’s deliverance must be shot by a hand which He strengthens. Therefore look to your heavenly Father altogether and alone for your sanctification and your safety, and at the same time seek the wise and godly help He provides. Open your case to faithful ministers and to those whom God has appointed for protection and peace, that you may not bear this burden alone nor remain without shelter in the hour of danger. The Lord pities them that fear Him as a father pities his children, and He especially pities His poor tried and troubled ones.

May the Lord grant you to say with the psalmist, The Lord has chastened me sore, but He has not given me over unto death, I shall not die but live and declare the works of the Lord. May He deliver you from the power of darkness as well as from the guilt of sin, and bring you into a place where you may declare what great things He has done for you.

We pray with you now. O Lord Jesus, Thou hast found a ransom and shed Thy precious blood. Cover this afflicted one with that blood and let it be a shield. Root out what is evil and pluck up what would destroy, break the power of abuse and cruelty, and set the captive free. Lift up Thy standard, keep this soul from the pit, and let deliverance be seen to be of the Lord alone, that Thy name may have all the praise. Preserve, keep, and comfort, and bring peace within these borders, for Thy mercy endures forever. In Thy name we ask it. Amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayer has been heard, and the pain and fear within it are not hidden from God. You have sought the Lord with many scriptures on your lips, asking for protection, for freedom, and for the scattering of every attack against you, and it is right to bring all of this before Him who is the cause of all good and who alone can deliver from evil and supply good through Christ.

Hear first what the Lord does promise. He does not always promise immediate deliverance from suffering or from death itself, but He grants what is greater, to set us above dangers and to fix in our minds the hope of immortality, so that we learn to despise the terror of death and look for a better resurrection. When you stand on Isaiah 54:17 that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and on Isaiah 59:19 that the Lord will lift up a standard against the enemy, understand this as His faithful care, not as a charm of words, but as confidence that His counsels are far above our counsels, and that as a Father He knows how to give good gifts to His children, even when we do not yet see how He will work.

You have asked to be covered by the precious blood and to be made free indeed, standing on Revelation 12:11 and John 8:36. This is the heart of our hope. By His incarnation Christ has delivered us from the curse and has brought us into sonship, so that we have put on Christ and have received the Spirit of adoption. It is by that blood and by that Sonship that you have a refuge, and it is in that freedom that you can stand, not by your own wisdom or strength, but instructed and upheld by the power that comes from Him.

At the same time, the Scriptures call us to keep free from passion and to keep unwounded, not by wishing to smite another and so bringing hurt upon ourselves. Wrath is like a fire or a wild beast, it needs fuel to keep burning. When the wind blows violently the sailors take down their sails so the vessel may not sink, and when the angry one rages like one who is beside himself, we are to turn aside out of his way, not to honor his anger but to show compassion for his infirmity and to protect ourselves from harm. This does not mean you are to remain where you are being harmed and simply endure blows. It means you are not to feed the fire with angry words in return, you are to hold your peace where you can, to lay down a law for yourself not to grieve unto destruction, and to flee from the violence as you would flee from a beast, seeking a safe place.

So I urge you, while you pray for God to root out evil, to cancel every stronghold, and to scatter every attack as you have prayed from 2 Corinthians 10 and Exodus 23, also take the practical steps of protection that God provides through His Church and through lawful help. Make your situation known to a trusted pastor or elder, to a mature and godly person in your church who can see you face to face, hear the whole account, and help provide for your safety. The work of the church is to feed the hungry, to protect the injured, to care for strangers, and to stand with those who are despitefully used, and you should not bear this alone in secret. If you are in immediate physical danger, seek safety at once and call for help from those who can intervene.

Let us pray together now.

Lord Jesus Christ, You see this Your child who is afflicted in her own house. You know the fear, the abuse, and the attacks that have been endured. We ask You to set her free indeed, to cover her with Your blood shed on the cross, to break every stronghold and foothold of evil, and to lift up Your standard of protection over her according to Your mercy. Scatter every plan of harm, guard her body and soul, and grant her a safe dwelling. Grant also repentance and healing to her brother and to her mother where sin has taken hold, that they may be delivered from anger and from every tyrannical passion and come to the serenity that belongs to those who love You. Give to Your child wisdom far beyond her own, to speak and to act with meekness and not with retaliation, to not supply fuel to fire, yet also to flee from danger and to seek wise counsel and protection. Supply what is lacking, comfort her heart, and teach her to trust not in the repeating of words but in You who hears and who gives blessing. In Your name, who has made us sons and daughters by grace, we ask this. Amen.
