Beloved of All
Your prayer has been heard and your desire to stand on the Word of God is precious. You have asked for the Lord to rebuke every evil influence, to break every chain, to tear down strongholds, to cancel every form of witchcraft and to rescue you and restore what has been harmed. That is a right desire, for Scripture shows that only Jesus Christ can truly set a person free.
The Bible pictures sin and spiritual oppression like chains. A person can struggle with all his own strength and still not get free. Like a man who could not be held even with fetters and chains because a darker power held him, or like a king who watched his family and city destroyed because he would not heed the word of the Lord and ended bound in chains for a long journey into captivity, we see how binding sin can be. Human effort cannot break that kind of bondage.
Yet the same Word shows that God breaks chains that no man can break. When Peter was sleeping between soldiers bound with two chains, an angel came and the chains fell from his hands. When the demon possessed man met Jesus, he was left seated, clothed and in his right mind. When Israel was trapped with no way of escape, God made a way where there was no way and led them into a song of deliverance. What is impossible with man is possible with God.
That deliverance is found by dwelling in close fellowship with Him. Psalm 91 speaks of the secret place of the Most High as a fortress and shelter. To live there is to trust Him and to let His truth be your shield. When Jesus was attacked by the enemy He answered with the truth of Scripture. In the same way, the weapons we fight with are not of the flesh but have divine power to demolish strongholds and every thought that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, as 2 Corinthians 10 says.
So we join you in praying according to the Scriptures you have named. We ask the Lord to rebuke every evil work directed against you, standing on Zechariah 3:2. We ask that where the Son sets you free you will be free indeed, standing on John 8:36, and that every stronghold and foothold be torn down. We ask for restoration where harm was intended, trusting the promise of Isaiah 61:7 that God gives a double portion in place of shame. We ask that every transfer of evil and every practice of sorcery be cut off, as Micah 5:12 declares that God will remove witchcraft from among His people, and that what is bound on earth in the authority of Christ will be bound in heaven according to Matthew 18:18.
We ask the Lord to rescue you from every attack, as 2 Timothy 4:18 promises He will rescue His people from every evil deed, and to break any generational chain that has sought to hold you, for Christ alone breaks the power of sin that passes from one generation to another. We ask Him to command His angels to encamp around those who fear Him as Psalm 91 promises, and to establish your steps as you commit your ways to Him as Proverbs 16:3 teaches. We cover all of this in the overcoming power of the blood of the Lamb, by which we overcome, as Revelation 12:11 declares.
Continue to walk in the light of His Word, confess Christ as Lord, turn from all that is dark and trust His truth daily as your shield. He is faithful to deliver, to keep you, to answer when you call, and with long life to show you His salvation. In the name of Jesus we ask for your freedom, your protection and your restoration. Amen.
