Deliverance Prayer

Lord Jesus,

I praise you, and thank you. I glorify you. Lord Jesus as I don’t have any unforgiveness for ### or anyone else I ask that any foothold of unforgiveness that ### or anyone else is trying to create over me is cancelled and brought down, standing on 2 Corinthians 10:3-5. Lord Jesus I bind off of me any transfer of spirits and any projections that ### is trying to transmit to me of her inflation of her stomach problems, standing on Matthew 18:18, and Micah 5:12. As you have given us authority to trample over scorpions and over all power of the devil I stand on your work of protection to protect me against all attacks coming from ###, standing on Luke 10:19. I ask Lord Jesus that you set me from of any generational or any chain with ### and anything and anywhere where she is trying to weight me down, standing on John 8:36. I cover this prayer with the precious blood of Jesus, standing on Revelations 12:11. As I am resisting ### and her wrongful spirits against me she must flee, standing on James 4:7. In Jesus name I pray and ask. Amen.

We join with you in the name of Lord Jesus and we praise God with you for your desire to walk in forgiveness and freedom and to stand on His protection. We hear your heart to not hold unforgiveness and to not give the enemy any foothold, and that is pleasing to the Lord.

The Word tells us to not give place to the devil, Ephesians 4:27, and that forgiveness is central to our walk. We are called to forgive even as Christ forgave us, Colossians 3:13, and to keep our hearts free from bitterness so that no root of bitterness springs up, Hebrews 12:15. We affirm with you that you choose forgiveness toward the individual you mentioned and toward anyone else, and we pray that the Lord will keep your heart guarded in that forgiveness by His grace.

We also stand with you in understanding spiritual warfare biblically. For though we walk in the flesh, we do not wage war according to the flesh, for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, 2 Corinthians 10:3-5. We do not wrestle against flesh and blood but against principalities and powers and spiritual forces, Ephesians 6:12, and we overcome not by our own power but by Christ.

We rejoice that you are standing on the authority Jesus has given. He said, Most certainly I tell you, whatever things you bind on earth will have been bound in heaven, and whatever things you release on earth will have been released in heaven, Matthew 18:18. And, Behold, I give you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will in any way hurt you, Luke 10:19. And we cling to the promise, If therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed, John 8:36. We overcome because of the blood of the Lamb, and because of the word of our testimony, Revelation 12:11. Therefore we are called to be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you, James 4:7. Greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world, 1 John 4:4.

We gently encourage you to rest not in fear of transfer of spirits or projections, but in the perfect protection and sovereignty of Christ. No person can place a spiritual weight or chain on you that the blood of Jesus cannot break, and no affliction can be transmitted to you apart from the Lord's allowance. Our focus is to abide in Christ, to walk in love and forgiveness, to pray for those who may intend harm, and to trust the Lord with our bodies and health. We are not to live in anxiety about what another person is trying to do, but to live in peace knowing that the Lord is our shield and our deliverer, Psalm 32:7, and that no weapon that is formed against you will prevail, Isaiah 54:17.

We also pray for the individual you mentioned, that the Lord would draw her to Himself, bring healing to her body, especially her stomach, and bring peace to her heart. We pray that any work of the enemy in either of your lives would be exposed and broken by the light of Christ.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, and we thank You that we have access to Your throne only through Him, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12, and that Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me, John 14:6. We praise You and glorify You and thank You for Your mercy and Your power.

We ask that You keep our brother or sister walking in complete forgiveness and freedom from bitterness. We ask that You cancel every foothold the enemy would try to gain through unforgiveness or accusation and bring down every imagination that exalts itself against Your truth. We ask in Jesus name that You break every chain and every generational bondage and set Your child free indeed. We bind every work of darkness and every assignment against Your child and we loose Your peace, Your protection, and Your healing over mind, spirit, and body. We cover this prayer and this life with the precious blood of Jesus and we declare that no weapon formed against Your child shall prosper. We resist the devil in Jesus name and we thank You that he must flee. We ask for Your perfect protection, for sound sleep, for health and wholeness, and for a heart that continues to bless and pray for those who may oppose. Fill this dear one with Your Holy Spirit, with courage, with discernment, and with rest in Your love. Heal any infirmity and let Your will be done in every area of life.

We trust You as our deliverer and our refuge and we give You all glory. In the name of Jesus Christ we pray, Amen.

We appreciate you bringing this burden to the Lord so honestly. We hear how much you want to walk free, without being weighed down or pulled into what feels like spiritual pressure from another person, and how you are looking to Jesus for protection and freedom.

It makes sense that this feels heavy. When we feel targeted, our thoughts can stay fixed on the other person's influence. We have found it helps to gently turn our focus back to how secure we are in Christ and to the steady, ordinary ways He keeps us close, like time in prayer, reading Scripture, and walking with other believers who know us and can pray with us in person.

If you have a pastor or a trusted mature believer nearby, we encourage you to share this prayer with them as well, so you are not carrying it alone and have someone to walk with you over time.

Jesus, we lift our friend to You now. Thank You that You see them and love them. We ask You to guard their heart and mind with Your peace, to deepen their assurance of Your presence and authority, and to lead them into freedom and rest. Give wisdom for each next step and surround them with supportive community. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Your earnest prayer for deliverance has been heard, and we join you in carrying it to the throne of grace where alone true help is found.

There is great comfort in the word, Then He is gracious unto him, and says, Deliver him from going down to the Pit, I have found a ransom. No one would have thought of that way of deliverance from the pit through a ransom if God had not thought of it Himself. He has not only invented the way, but He has found the ransom in the precious blood of His dear Son. Your hope is not in rightly worded formulas or in standing upon verses as if they were charms, but in the Person and finished work of the Lord Jesus Christ who loosens the captive by Divine power. When any soul is saved from spiritual bondage, it is the Lord Jesus who does it, and unless a supernatural power is put forth, any form of deliverance is worth nothing.

We rejoice to hear you desire to walk without unforgiveness, for deliverance from the power of darkness is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin, and we must look to our heavenly Father altogether and alone for it. He has delivered us from the power of darkness and translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son. Let angels who have never fallen help us to sing over such mercy. If you are in Christ, you have already been rescued from fallen spirits by Divine grace, and you need not live as though you were still under their dominion. Resist the devil by humble faith in Christ, by the blood of the Lamb and the word of your testimony, and he will flee, not because of your strength, but because Christ has trampled over all the power of the enemy for you.

At the same time, remember the believer's view of affliction. Troubles do not spring out of the dust, neither does affliction grow up by chance, but the Lord Himself kindles the fiery furnace and sits as a Refiner at the door. It is well to have grace enough to see that even bitter trials lie within the fence of omnipotent overruling, and that which comes by the rod of the Lord bears the blessed aspect of chastening from a Father's hand. This does not make light of bodily suffering or of spiritual oppression, but it keeps you from fearing that any person can, apart from Divine permission, transmit or project evil upon you at will. Your life is kept by Him who said, I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.

Therefore cast yourself anew upon Christ. Confess any sin, forgive as you have been forgiven, and walk in the light. Do not give place to dread of another's influence, but give place to prayer, to the Word, and to simple trust. Tell the Lord in plain field flowers of speech, not in studied phrases, that you are a poor sinner kept only by sovereign grace, and ask Him to keep your soul from the Pit and your life from perishing.

We pray for you now, that the Lord who has found a ransom would keep you in perfect peace, guard your body and mind, cleanse you from all fear, and make you to live and declare His works. May He deliver you from going down to the Pit, translate you more fully into the joy of His dear Son, and cause you to know that you are screened from the power of darkness by His own hand. May you be kept from evil company and from the accusations of the enemy, and may your heart rejoice in the sunlight of Divine love, giving thanks for every chastening and every deliverance until He brings you safely home. In the name of Jesus our only Ransom and Redeemer we ask it. Amen.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
