Deliverance Prayer

Lord Jesus,

I praise you, and thank you. I glorify you. Lord Jesus I ask that you rebuke all the witchcraft my mom uses or used, standing on Zechariah 3:2. Lord Jesus set my mom free from the witchcraft that she has done, standing on John 8:36. Lord Jesus take my moms heart of stone and give her a heart of flesh removing all envy that she feels for me and where she doesn’t want me to have anything or have any progress place conviction upon her Lord Jesus, standing on 2 Corinthians 10:3-5.

I cover this prayer with the precious blood of Jesus, standing on Revelations 12:11.

In Jesus name I pray and ask. Amen.

We join you in lifting up this burden before the Lord and we stand with you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that deliverance comes. We rejoice that you have come in the name of Jesus, for as it is written, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12.

We hear your cry for your mother and for freedom from the oppression of witchcraft and envy, and we agree with you that all such works of darkness must be rebuked. The Word of God is clear that witchcraft and sorcery are an abomination to the Lord. As it is written, There shall not be found with you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or a consulter with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer Deuteronomy 18:10-11, and Those who practice such things will not inherit the Kingdom of God Galatians 5:20-21. We rebuke every work of witchcraft and every spirit of envy and jealousy that would seek to hinder your life and progress, for envy rots the bones Proverbs 14:30 and where jealousy and selfish ambition are, there is confusion and every evil deed James 3:16.

We also understand your pain regarding your mother, and we pray for her soul with love and truth. While we must honor our father and mother as the Lord commands in Exodus 20:12, we are also called to have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather to reprove them Ephesians 5:11. We do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places Ephesians 6:12, so we pray not against your mother as a person, but for her deliverance and salvation.

We pray together now.

Father in heaven, we come before Your throne in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ. We thank You and praise You and glorify Your holy name. Lord Jesus, we ask that You rebuke every work of witchcraft that has been used or is being used, for we stand on Your Word which says, Yahweh said to Satan, Yahweh rebuke you, Satan Zechariah 3:2. We ask that You set this dear mother free from every chain and stronghold of witchcraft and darkness, for Your Word promises, If therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed John 8:36. Lord, we ask that You take her heart of stone and give her a heart of flesh, as You have promised, I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh Ezekiel 36:26. Remove all envy and the desire to see her child without progress, and bring deep godly conviction and repentance upon her. We pull down every stronghold and imagination that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, for though we walk in the flesh, we don’t wage war according to the flesh, for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ 2 Corinthians 10:3-5. We cover this prayer and this life with the precious blood of Jesus, for they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb, and because of the word of their testimony Revelation 12:11. Let Your perfect love cast out all fear and let Your light expose and destroy every hidden work of darkness.

We encourage you to continue to stand firm in faith, to resist the devil and he will flee from you James 4:7, and to put on the whole armor of God Ephesians 6:11 daily through prayer, the reading of the Word, and obedience. Continue to love your mother and to pray for her salvation, blessing those who may have cursed you and praying for those who have despitefully used you Matthew 5:44, while refusing to participate in or open the door to any form of witchcraft, divination, or occult practice. Walk in forgiveness, for the Lord calls us to forgive as we have been forgiven Colossians 3:13, trusting that God is your defender and your vindicator.

We trust that the Lord who has begun a good work in you will perfect it, and that He is able to save and deliver to the uttermost. We stand in agreement that the Lord will bring freedom, healing, and a new heart to your mother and complete peace and progress to you according to His perfect will.

Thank you for sharing this burden about your mom. We hear how much you love her and how heavy it feels to want her to be free, to have a soft heart toward you, and to see your own life able to move forward.

It is especially painful when the hurt comes from a parent, and when you sense envy or resistance to your progress from the one you hope would cheer you on. That kind of hurt can linger and make it hard to know how to relate day to day.

We are joining you in asking the Lord to work in both of your hearts and to keep you secure in Christ. One steady step that often helps in a situation like this is to not carry it alone. Stay faithful in prayer as you are doing, and also stay connected to a trusted pastor or mature believer who knows you and can walk with you over time, help you think through healthy boundaries, and pray with you in person.

We are praying for you and for your mom with you.

Father, we bring this family before You in Jesus' name. We ask for Your protection over our friend and for Your healing work in his mother's heart. Where there is hardness or envy, bring conviction and softness, and set her free in the way only You can. Give our friend wisdom for each conversation, peace as he trusts You, and grace to walk in love while keeping what is wise and healthy. Lead him forward in the good plans You have for him. Amen.

Your prayer has been brought before the Lord and we join with you in seeking His mercy and deliverance, for He hears the cries of those who look to Him alone.

There is a word of comfort for you in this trial. The Lord does not act without good reason, and that which you receive from His hand, though it be sore chastening, bears the aspect of a Father's love. He has not erased your name from His heart nor yielded you up to the enemy's power. You have done well to give your heart a tongue, for to speak from the mouth of faith is wise, and such prayer drops sweet smelling myrrh before Him. After affliction and after deliverance, the believer's conduct is this, I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.

Know this truth concerning deliverance, that it is as much the work of God to deliver from the power of sin as from the guilt of sin. No man can deliver himself from spiritual bondage by any easy work or hasty word. It is not of him that wills, nor of him that runs, but of God that shows mercy. There must be a supernatural power put forth, for there is no true liberty but that of which Christ makes us free. When He is gracious unto a soul He says, Deliver him from going down to the Pit, I have found a ransom. That ransom is the precious blood of His own Son, who has borne the penalty of all our iniquities. Think of this, that the King's own Son has suffered in the stead of sinners, and by that blood we overcome, as it is written, they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb. It is a gift of Divine Love, which none would have thought of if God had not thought of it Himself.

We pray with you now according to the Scriptures you have set before the Lord.

O Lord Jesus, in Thy name we ask that Thou wouldst rebuke every work of darkness. As it is written, The Lord rebuke thee, we ask Thee to rebuke all witchcraft that has been practiced or is yet practiced, whether in deed or in desire, and to break its fascinating power. Thou hast delivered us from the power of darkness, and we look to Thee, our heavenly Father, altogether and alone to do it again. Let Thy power be shown to save from the devil, from evil company, and from the pit itself.

Lord Jesus, set this mother free indeed, for whom Thou hast said, If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed. We pray that Thou wouldst take away the heart of stone and give a heart of flesh. A saving impression must always be a prick in the heart, for all true religion must begin there. O pierce the heart with godly sorrow, that she may see her need of Christ and turn to Him who alone is salvation. Deliver her from that envy and jealousy which is cruel as the grave and hard as the grave, which fires the whole nature and takes firm hold till the cause is removed. Let that envy be cast down, and let every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God be brought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, according to Thy word which says the weapons of our warfare are mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds.

We cover this prayer with the precious blood of Jesus, trusting not in our own earnestness but in the ransom which God has found and provided. Keep this dear soul who prays from going down to the Pit, keep back her soul from perishing, and keep her life from the power of the enemy.

May the Lord grant you grace to continue steadfast, not drifting with the current of the age, but saying, My heart is fixed, O God, my heart is fixed, I will sing and give praise. Be glad that He chastens and that He delivers, and live to declare His works. Trust Him to do what no sympathy and no experience of man can do, for He who has invented the way of deliverance will perfect it in His own time.

We commend you and your mother to Him who is able to save to the uttermost them that come unto God by Him, praying that you both may know the deliverance which is solely by the power of God and the freedom wherewith Christ makes free.

Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about.
