Your prayer has been heard and we join you in praising and glorifying the Lord Jesus for His power to save and to set free. Thank you for bringing this burden so honestly before Him.
The Scriptures you are standing on point to a real battle. The object of that battle is the control of the mind and through the mind the direction of a life. God desires to lead and govern your life for your good, while the enemy seeks by force and deceit and guile to bring people into subjection to himself. That is what happened when Adam and Eve turned from what God had said and followed the enemy's suggestion, and it is the same pattern whenever manipulation and control try to take hold. Strongholds are built in the mind, and that is why the weapons God gives are not of the flesh but are mighty to pull down those strongholds and to bring every thought into obedience to Christ, as you quoted from 2 Corinthians 10.
Your cry for deliverance is answered in Jesus Christ our Lord. The cry of Romans 7, who will deliver me from this body that seeks to control me, is answered with thanks be to God through Jesus Christ. When the mind is separated from a living consciousness of God it is death, but when it is yielded to Him there is life and peace. Jesus has triumphed over every principality and power through the cross, as Colossians 2 teaches, and whom the Son sets free is free indeed, as John 8 promises. And we overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony, as Revelation 12 declares. That blood is not only a covering for protection from harassment and stalking, it is the memorial of our deliverance from the power of sin through the Lamb who was slain for us.
God's love for you is broader than you can measure and His desires for you are only for good, so there is no reason to run from Him or to hide. Instead let what you have heard from the beginning abide in you. Continue in the Son and in the Father, keep your mind stayed upon Him, and resist the enemy. Scripture promises that when we resist him he will flee from us. The wisdom that is from above is pure and peaceable and gentle, and it brings clarity where there has been confusion and every evil work that comes from envy and strife.
We pray for you now. Father, in the name of Jesus we ask for Your deliverance and protection over this dear one and over all who are affected by this controlling influence. We ask You to break every stronghold and foothold, to cancel every work of darkness, and to set free those who are harassed. Cover them with the precious blood of Jesus. Fill the mind with Your peace and truth, and let Christ have full control of heart and thoughts. You know every thought and You can do all things. We thank You that You are able to set free from any binding power and to bring into the glorious liberty that belongs to Your children. Teach this one to walk in that freedom day by day, trusting not in mere words but in a living experience of Your presence.
Even as we look for complete deliverance from this present bondage of corruption into the freedom You have promised, we trust You for Your keeping power now. May the Lord guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus and give you rest from troubling voices, for He is faithful.
