Beloved of All
Lord Jesus,

I praise you, and thank you. I glorify you. Lord Jesus I want to ask that you rebuke all confusion and deceit that may be coming from ###, standing on Zechariah 3:2. Lord Jesus I bind off of me any transfer of spirits coming to me from ###, standing on Matthew 18:18. In Jesus name I ask for a full disconnection from ### is he is only trying to hinder me, standing on John 8:36. Lord Jesus I ask that any strongholds or footholds over me by ### be removed, standing on 2 Corinthians 10:3-5. Lord Jesus I ask that you lead me into what I should do in regards to the friendship with ###. If I should leave it alone and just not answer if he calls or if I should tell him that I feel he may need to reach out to a professional. He was sexually abused as a kid by a Catholic Teacher and never got any professional help in relation, I ask Lord Jesus that if it’s your will that ### get professional help that you lead him to it.

I feel like he is not happy about things of faith. And, I want to rebuke the demonic spirits working thru ###, standing on Zechariah 3:2.

Lord Jesus he is also upset that he has a younger sister that died that kept the house of his parents and he was not left with any of it. ### is adopted and he has problems with his sister that died he said that he would steal money from him, and still seems angry about it now.

Lord Jesus ### also recently shared that his older sister is some type of psychic, if there are any spells over me by this sister that I have not met Lord Jesus I ask that you cancel them, standing on Micah 5:12.

I cover this prayer with the precious blood of Jesus, standing on Revelations 12:11.

We join with you in lifting this burden to the Lord Jesus and we stand with you in prayer for deliverance, protection, and wisdom.

We praise God with you for His power to save and to set free, and we thank Him that you have come boldly before His throne in the name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we are saved and have access to the Father. We agree with you in rebuking confusion and deceit, for the enemy is a liar and the father of lies, and we know that God is not a God of confusion, but of peace, as in 1 Corinthians 14:33.

We stand on the truth of Zechariah 3:2 where it is written, Yahweh said to Satan, Yahweh rebuke you, Satan. Yes, Yahweh who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you. We ask the Lord Himself to rebuke every spirit of confusion, deceit, and oppression that may be operating through this friendship or seeking to transfer to you. We also stand on Matthew 18:18, Most certainly I tell you, whatever things you bind on earth will have been bound in heaven, and whatever things you release on earth will have been released in heaven. In the name of Jesus we bind every unclean influence and loose the peace and truth of Christ over your mind and heart.

We pray for a full disconnection from any ungodly soul tie or spiritual hindrance, standing on John 8:36, If therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed. We ask the Lord to break every stronghold and foothold, for as it says in 2 Corinthians 10:4-5, for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ. We ask Jesus to demolish any stronghold over your life and to guard your thoughts with His truth.

We bring before the Lord your question about this friendship and we ask for His clear leading. We pray that God will give you wisdom liberally as promised in James 1:5, and that you will have discernment to know whether to step back, to set healthy boundaries, or to speak the truth in love. It is wise and loving to encourage this man to seek professional help, especially after the deep wound of being sexually abused as a child by a trusted teacher. The Lord hates such evil done to children and He is close to the brokenhearted. As it says in Psalm 147:3, He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds, and in Isaiah 61:1, He has sent me to bind up the broken hearted. That trauma left without godly counsel can leave deep bitterness, confusion about faith, and anger, and we pray that the Lord will lead this man to trustworthy, biblical and professional help for healing. We pray that you will be able to speak to him with grace and truth, not out of fear or guilt, but out of love, and that you will guard your own heart as in Proverbs 4:23, Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it is the wellspring of life, and remember 1 Corinthians 15:33, Evil companionships corrupt good morals.

We also hear your concern that he is not happy about things of faith and that there may be demonic influence working through him. We do not take lightly the reality of spiritual warfare, for as Ephesians 6:12 says, our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. We rebuke in Jesus name every demonic spirit that would use his hurt, his anger, or his resistance to the gospel to harass you or to hinder your walk with Christ. We pray as in James 4:7, that as you submit yourselves therefore to God and resist the devil, he will flee from you.

We lift up his bitterness over his family situation, over being adopted, over his younger sister who has died and the inheritance, and over his sister who stole from him. We pray that the Lord would soften his heart and help him to release that anger before it takes root, for Hebrews 12:15 warns to watch lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you and many be defiled by it. We pray that God would help him to forgive as Christ forgave us, as in Ephesians 4:31-32, and that he would find his identity and inheritance first in Christ rather than in earthly possessions.

Concerning his older sister who practices as a psychic, we agree with you in prayer for protection. Scripture is very clear that turning to psychics, witchcraft and spells is an abomination to the Lord, as in Deuteronomy 18:10-12. We stand on Micah 5:12, I will destroy witchcrafts out of your hand. You shall have no more soothsayers. We ask the Lord Jesus to cancel and nullify in His mighty name any spell, curse, or occult influence that may have been spoken over you, whether knowingly or unknowingly. No weapon formed against those who are in Christ shall prosper, and 1 John 4:4 reminds us, Greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world. We declare that those who are covered by the blood of the Lamb are secure, for Revelation 12:11 says, They overcame him because of the Lamb’s blood and because of the word of their testimony.

So we now pray together.

Lord Jesus, we praise You and glorify Your holy name. We thank You that You are our Deliverer and our Shield. We ask You to rebuke every spirit of confusion, deceit, and heaviness that has sought to attach itself to our dear one through this friendship. We bind off any transfer of spirits and we ask for a complete disconnection from every ungodly influence in Jesus name. Break every stronghold and foothold, Lord, and set Your child free indeed. Cover this prayer and this life with Your precious blood, that the accuser has no place. Grant wisdom whether to quietly step back and not answer, or to lovingly encourage this man to seek professional, biblical help for his deep childhood wound. Lead him, Lord, to healing and to repentance and faith in You if it is Your will, and heal his bitterness over his family and his sisters. Cancel every spell and witchcraft from the psychic sister and let no curse rest upon Your child. Fill this dear one with Your peace, Your discernment, and Your joy, and lead them in the path You have chosen. Put upon them the whole armor of God that they may stand firm. We ask all this in the mighty and only saving name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

We hear how heavy this friendship has felt, and how much you want to honor the Lord while also caring well for ###. Thank you for bringing it to Him so honestly.

What you describe makes sense to carry with care. When someone has been through sexual abuse as a child and never had a safe place to get help, that wound can shape so much, how he views trust, faith, family, even his anger about his parents' house and his sisters. That kind of hurt often needs more than one friend can carry, and wanting him to have professional support is a loving and wise instinct.

It also makes sense you are asking for wisdom about boundaries. One practical step that helps many people in a situation like this is to decide ahead of time what a healthy limit looks like for you. For example, you might prayerfully choose whether you will step back from calls for a season, or whether you will answer once with a kind, clear encouragement toward a trusted pastor or a Christian counselor who has experience with trauma, and then give space. You do not have to figure that alone, talking it through with a pastor or mature believer you trust can help you stay steady and kind.

We are also hearing your concern about spiritual influence, including worry about his sister. We will not amplify that fear, but we do pray for your peace and protection as you seek Christ.

Jesus, we lift this friend to You and ask for Your guarding over our brother. Give him clarity, wisdom for each next step with this friendship, and lead ### toward the help he needs if it is Your will. Cover us both with Your mercy and keep us close to You. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your prayer has been brought before the Lord and it is right and wise that you have turned to Him as your refuge in this season of trouble and confusion.

There is great comfort in the truth that deliverance is the work of God alone. As the Scripture says, Deliver him from going down to the pit, I have found a ransom. Job 33:24. You are not delivered by your own strength or by any formula of words, but because the King’s own Son has borne the penalty and paid the ransom for all who trust in Him. If you are in Christ, you need not fear that any spirit or spell or darkness can claim you, for He has delivered us from the power of darkness and translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son. That deliverance from the power of sin and from the guilt of sin is as much the work of God as any other part of salvation, and we must look to our heavenly Father altogether and alone for it.

The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble. Nahum 1:7. In days when trouble seems to have the whole day to itself, from morning till night, He is not a temporary camp but a strong tower that stands from generation to generation. To run into the name of the Lord by faith is to be safe. The fear of the Lord does not drive you from Him, it drives you to Him, and when it drives you to Him you have got a place of refuge. There you can have strong confidence, because you know that Jesus has risen from the dead and lives to plead for you.

In that confidence you may pray as you have prayed, that the Lord would rebuke confusion and deceit, standing on Zechariah 3:2, that He would break every stronghold and foothold, standing on 2 Corinthians 10:3-5, and that where the Son makes you free you shall be free indeed, standing on John 8:36. It is well to ask the Lord to keep back your soul from the pit and to guard your life from perishing. And it is well to cover your prayers with the precious blood of Jesus, standing on Revelation 12:11, for there is no other balm in Gilead except at Calvary, and no other plea that prevails except His sacrifice.

At the same time, remember that our afflictions, even when they come distinctly from man, are under the Lord’s hand who sits as a Refiner at the door of the furnace. This truth helps to moderate anger against second causes and to keep the heart from being consumed with fear of persons. You need not live in dread of a transfer of spirits or of spells from one you have never met, standing on Micah 5:12. Those who are hidden in Christ are kept by Him, and no enchantment can overthrow the ransom He has found. Bring those fears to the stronghold and leave them there.

Concerning your friendship with this man, it is wise to seek the Lord for clear direction. You have shown compassion in remembering his deep wounds, the sexual abuse he suffered as a child by a teacher and the lack of help he has received since, as well as his grief and anger over his family, the loss of his sister and the inheritance, and his adoption. These are heavy burdens that no friendship alone can bear. It is a loving and right thing to gently encourage him to seek professional help and, more importantly, to seek the Lord Himself, for only Christ can heal such wounds. You may do this with kindness and truth, while also maintaining needful boundaries for your own walk with Christ.

If this friendship is hindering you, drawing you into confusion, or pulling you away from faith and peace, it is not unkind to step back, to not answer at times, and to seek counsel from a mature pastor or godly counselor in your own church who knows you both. Ask the Lord to show you whether to speak plainly or to quietly create distance, and to do it with a heart that desires his good, not merely your own relief. Pray that the Lord would lead him to the help he needs, if it be His will, and that any unhappiness he has toward the things of faith would be met by the gracious drawing of the Holy Spirit.

Continue to walk in the fear of the Lord and in simple trust. Use what sense you have, as a man who could hear though he could not see, and cry out to Jesus with plain words from the heart. He delights in field flowers plucked from any hedge, not in fine speech. Tell Him you are dependent upon His sovereign grace.

Let us pray together.

Lord Jesus, we praise and thank and glorify You. You have found a ransom and You deliver from going down to the pit. We ask that You rebuke all confusion and deceit and every work of darkness, and that You would break every stronghold that would exalt itself against the knowledge of God. Keep this Your child hidden in Your name as in a stronghold, and let no weapon or spell prevail. Give wisdom concerning this friendship, whether to speak or to step aside, and give words that are full of grace and truth. We lift up this man who has suffered so much, who carries anger and grief and abuse from his youth. Have mercy upon him, lead him to true help and to Yourself, the only fountain of healing. Let him know that You are gracious and that You have provided deliverance through Your blood. Help this Your child to live and to declare the works of the Lord after affliction, giving thanks for Your chastening hand and Your delivering arm. We ask this in Your precious name and covering blood, Amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayer has been heard and I have remembered you before the Lord with thanksgiving for your desire to walk in holiness and truth.

You have asked for deliverance from confusion and deceit and for freedom from any spiritual burden connected to this friendship, and you have rightly looked to Christ who alone saves. It is by the blood of the Lamb that we overcome, as it is written in Revelation 12:11, and there is no other name by which we are saved. Keep your hope fixed there, not in formulas, but in living faith in Jesus Christ and in a life that seeks to be holy, not merely free from sin, but filled with the presence of the Spirit and with good works.

Scripture teaches that our struggle is real, and that strongholds of thought and desire are torn down as we submit to Christ, as in 2 Corinthians 10:3 to 5. Yet remember also that the soul and body themselves are God's creation and are not to be blamed as if evil came from their essence. Evil comes from the choice of the will. Willing is natural and from God, but willing in an evil direction is from our own mind. Therefore pray not only against an outside influence, but ask God to purify the heart, to train the will, and to make you watchful and steadfast as one seeking the one pearl of great price. This requires both turning from worldly entanglements and keeping awake in prayer.

Concerning friendship, you are wise to ask what the Lord would have you do. Scripture shows us that true friendship is formed upon godliness alone, not upon long acquaintance, need, or habit, and it is to be knit together by love for God. Jonathan loved David with a wonderful love, yet that love was joined to justice. He would not help his father in an unjust act, and he would not flatter his friend, but he sought what was right before God even at cost to himself. So you also should weigh this friendship by that measure. Does it build you up in godliness and honesty, in a quiet and peaceable life before God, or does it draw you into tumult, confusion, and compromise. Love does not require you to remain without boundaries. You can show compassion, weep with those who weep and rejoice with those who rejoice, and still set a firm and kind limit.

For this man you describe, who suffered abuse as a child and has never received help, who carries anger about his family and his sister's death and inheritance, and who seems unsettled about matters of faith, the most loving thing may indeed be to encourage professional help. Trauma of that kind leaves deep wounds in the thoughts and the will, and God often heals through wise and godly counselors as well as through prayer. You may tell him gently and plainly that you care for him and believe he would benefit from speaking with a trusted Christian counselor or pastor, and then give him space to decide. If you discern that continued close contact hinders your walk or exposes you to persistent confusion, it is right to step back, to not answer every call, and to commit him to the Lord in prayer rather than to maintain a friendship that is not rooted in godliness.

Concerning his sister who practices as a psychic, have no fellowship with such practices and do not seek them out. The Lord says He will cut off sorceries from among His people, as in Micah 5:12, and no spell has power over one who abides in Christ. You need not fear a hidden curse when you are covered by Christ. Stand on Zechariah 3:2, that the Lord rebukes the accuser, and on John 8:36, that if the Son sets you free you are free indeed. Walk in the light, confess sin quickly, keep your mind guarded, and remain under the authority Christ has given His church.

I will pray for you now. Lord Jesus Christ, rebuke all deceit and confusion and every work of the enemy in this situation. Break every stronghold and foothold and grant full freedom to this soul who trusts in You. Wash this one in Your precious blood and make this life holy and bright for Your service. Grant wisdom to know how to love this friend with truth and justice, whether to speak or to step back, and lead that man himself to truth, to healing from his wounds, to repentance where needed, and to godly help if it is Your will. Keep this one watchful, pure, and at peace, and teach both to despise not only outward trials but to love the immortality of the soul You have promised. Amen.

Continue in prayer, in the Word, and in fellowship with mature believers who can help you discern each step.

Thank you for sharing this burden so honestly and for wanting to bring everything under the lordship of Jesus. Your desire to walk in truth and to honor Christ in this friendship is right, and God hears prayers offered in His name.

The Bible shows that evil spirits are real and intelligent. They can speak and influence, and they often work through words and deception to confuse and accuse. They can also exert influence over people in ways that lead to actions that cannot be explained on a human level alone. That reality can be unsettling, but Scripture also gives a steady anchor. Greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world. When you are dwelling in the secret place of the Most High, He is your fortress and your protection, and His truth is your shield against the attacks of the enemy. Jesus Himself used the truth of God's Word to stand against the adversary.

You prayed that the Lord would rebuke confusion and deceit, and that is biblical. In Zechariah the Lord Himself rebukes the accuser. You do not have to rebuke in your own strength. You can ask the Lord to do it and trust Him to act. In the same way, when you have given your life to Jesus, you are covered by His blood, as Revelation teaches that we overcome by the blood of the Lamb. No spell or psychic practice has authority over one who belongs to Christ. Those practices are real and God warns against them, but they are not greater than the blood of Jesus and they cannot penetrate the covering He gives to His own. You do not need to live in fear of a transfer of spirits or of words spoken by someone you have never met. Fear diminishes faith, but confidence in Christ strengthens it.

You also mentioned binding and strongholds. Jesus spoke of binding and loosing, and Paul taught in 2 Corinthians that strongholds are torn down not by fleshly effort but by spiritual weapons, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ. Strongholds are broken as you stay in the Word of God. Growth does not come through psychic or merely emotional experiences, even powerful ones, but through the steady intake of Scripture and obedience to it. As you fill your mind with truth, lies lose their foothold and confusion is replaced with clarity. If the Son sets you free, you are free indeed, and that freedom is worked out as you walk in His truth.

For your friend, compassion and wisdom can go together. The pain he carries from abuse as a child, from family loss and conflict over the inheritance, and from anger that still lingers, is deep. It is understandable that he struggles with faith and that he carries wounds that affect his view of others and of God. You are right to pray that God would lead him toward help. You are not called to be his counselor for wounds that need professional and pastoral care. It is loving to encourage him toward qualified, biblically grounded help while maintaining healthy boundaries for yourself.

Ask the Lord for clear leading about the friendship itself. God often leads us into a place where we must trust Him to make a way, and He is able to deliver when there seems to be no way. Pray for discernment. If the relationship consistently brings confusion, hinders your walk, or pulls you away from peace with God and the peace of God, it is wise to step back, to limit contact, and to not answer when contact would draw you into that confusion. If you do speak with him, keep it simple and kind, letting him know that you care for him and that you believe ongoing support from a trained counselor would be the best next step for him. Continue to pray that God would draw him to salvation through Jesus Christ alone, for that is the only ground of true healing.

Keep abiding in Christ. Stay in the Word daily, pray in Jesus name, and trust the Lord as your shield and deliverer. He has triumphed gloriously for His people, and He will keep those who watch and keep their lives clothed in Christ. I will pray with you that the Lord rebukes every deceit, breaks every foothold by His truth, guards you under His wings, cancels every work of darkness by the power of the blood of Jesus, and gives you wisdom for each step ahead.
