Deliverance Prayer

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Lord Jesus,

I praise you, and thank you. I glorify you. Lord Jesus I ask that you rebuke all of my moms, and my brothers demons and her witchcraft and all the ways she is being used by Satan, standing on Zechariah 3:2. I bind off of me and my son and transfer of spirits coming to us from my mom or my brother, standing on Matthew 18:18

I ask that you cancel and lift off of me and my son all negative words spoken over us by my mom or my brother, standing on John 8:36, and 2 Corinthians 10:3-5.

Lord Jesus I have a special request that you humble my mom and correct her disrespect towards me and my son and her interference with our relationship, she wants my son to call her mom, which is a lie she is her grandmother, I ask that the principality working behind this be canceled and all forms of witchcraft that my mom is operating from be cancelled over my son and me, standing on Romans 12:19, Colossians 2:15, and Micah 5:12.

I cover my son and me with the precious blood of Jesus, standing on Revelations 12:11.

Asking Lord Jesus that you send your angels to encamp around my son and me, standing on Psalm 91 and that you lift standards for me and my son against all attacks coming to us, standing on Isaiah 59:19.

In Jesus name I pray and ask. Amen.

A Word in Season
Christians must comfort the downcast by declaring God’s hope and salvation for all who humbly trust Him.
We join with you in the name of Lord Jesus Christ and we thank you for bringing this burden before the throne of grace. We hear your heart to protect your son and yourself and to see your mother and brother set free from the influence of the enemy, and we stand with you for deliverance, truth and peace in your household.

We praise God that you have come in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and authority over the works of darkness. As it is written, there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12, and whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved, Romans 10:13. Your standing on the Word is pleasing to God, and we agree with you that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world, 1 John 4:4, and that we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against the principalities and powers and spiritual forces of wickedness, Ephesians 6:12.

We also want to gently encourage you in love concerning the battle you are facing. The Word tells us that the Lord rebuke you, Satan, Zechariah 3:2, and that whatever we bind on earth will be bound in heaven and whatever we loose on earth will be loosed in heaven, Matthew 18:18, and that the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, 2 Corinthians 10:4. We have authority in Christ, yet that authority flows from first submitting ourselves to God, James 4:7, walking in forgiveness, humility and obedience, and not from fear. We do not need to fear a transfer of spirits when we are covered by Christ, for if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed, John 8:36, and we overcome by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of our testimony, Revelation 12:11.

We also hear your pain regarding your mother wanting your son to call her mom and interfering in your relationship with him. We understand your desire for God to humble and correct her, and we agree that witchcraft and manipulation must be cut off, as God says He will cut off sorceries out of your hand, Micah 5:12, and that He disarmed the principalities and powers and made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in Christ, Colossians 2:15. Yet we must remember that vengeance belongs to the Lord, Romans 12:19, and we are called to bless and not curse, to pray for those who despitefully use us and to desire their repentance and salvation rather than their humiliation. We encourage you to continue to set godly boundaries in love while still honoring your mother as Scripture commands, Exodus 20:12, which does not mean allowing deception or confusion for your son. You are right to teach your son the truth in love, that she is his grandmother, for God is not a God of confusion but of peace, 1 Corinthians 14:33, and we are to train up a child in the way he should go, Proverbs 22:6. Speak the truth calmly and consistently to your son, and let your home be marked by clarity, gentleness and stability.

We also encourage you to pray not only for rebuke of the enemy's work but for the salvation and deliverance of your mother and brother, that the veil would be lifted and they would come to repentance and know Jesus as Lord. The enemy comes to steal, kill and destroy, but Jesus came that we may have life abundantly, John 10:10.

We now pray together with you.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Your Son. We praise You and thank You that You are our refuge and fortress, Psalm 91:2, and that You give Your angels charge over us to keep us in all our ways, Psalm 91:11. We ask that You rebuke every demonic assignment, every work of witchcraft and every word curse spoken over this dear mother and her son. We ask that You cancel every negative word and bring every thought and imagination into captivity to the obedience of Christ, 2 Corinthians 10:5. We plead the precious blood of Jesus over this mother and her son, over their minds, bodies, home and sleep, and we ask that no weapon formed against them shall prosper.

Lord, we ask that when the enemy comes in like a flood, Your Spirit will lift up a standard against him, Isaiah 59:19. Let Your peace guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:7. We ask that You establish godly boundaries, correct what is dishonoring and confusing, and let truth prevail in this family. We pray for this grandmother and for this brother, that You would convict them, draw them to repentance, and deliver them from every chain of darkness, that they may know Your forgiveness and walk in newness of life. Help this mother to walk in forgiveness, wisdom and discernment, to not repay evil for evil but to overcome evil with good, Romans 12:21, and to raise her son in the nurture and admonition of the Lord, Ephesians 6:4.

We submit ourselves to You, resist the devil, and trust that he must flee, James 4:7. Fill this home with Your Holy Spirit, Your Word and Your light, and let no darkness remain. We thank You that You have already triumphed on the cross and that we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us, Romans 8:37.

We ask all this in the holy and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Deliverer and our Hope. Amen.

Thank you for bringing your heart for your son so clearly before the Lord. We hear how much you want to protect him and to have a respectful, peaceful relationship with your mom and brother, and how painful the confusion over roles has been.

We believe God cares deeply about both your protection and your peace. When family tension feels spiritual as well as personal, it can be exhausting. We find it helps to keep our focus on Christ's nearness and His care over you and your son, rather than staying fixed on what others may be doing. Resting in His presence brings steadiness even when relationships feel strained.

A practical step that may help is to decide together with a trusted pastor or mature believer how you will calmly and consistently respond when boundaries are tested, for example what language you will use with your son about who mom is and who grandma is, and to have that same person pray with you regularly so you are not carrying this alone. Having that support can bring wisdom and steadiness in the moment.

Father, we lift this mom and her son to You. Surround them with Your peace, guard their home, give wisdom for every conversation with family, soften hearts where there is hurt, and help mother and son grow strong in their bond with You and each other. Lead them step by step in Your will. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your prayer has come before the Lord who hears the groaning of the prisoner, for He has looked down from the height of His sanctuary and beheld the earth to hear those who are bound. Be assured that He who has delivered His people from the power of darkness is able to deliver you and your son still, and to keep you all the way through.

There is a trial in what you describe that comes distinctly from man, through malice or confusion in the family, and yet even such afflictions may be overruled by the Lord in His special love to you. For this reason we may wisely moderate our anger against second causes and perceive that our smarts and sorrows are still in our Father's hand, so that we may say, The will of the Lord be done. This does not make the wrong less wrong, but it keeps your heart from being consumed by bitterness. The Lord scourges His children but He does not slay them, and it is not killing but curing that God intends when He takes the sharp lancet in His hand. No chastening for the present seems to be joyous, yet afterward it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness to those who are exercised thereby.

Your hope for deliverance does not rest in the strength of your own binding or loosing, but in this, that God Himself has found a ransom. Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us, and in our place He bore our sins and the curse which came of it. Your deliverance from guilt and from the power of sin is as much the work of God as any other grace, and where we look for justification there must we also look for sanctification. We cannot receive the one blessing through the Spirit and the other through the flesh. We must look to our heavenly Father altogether and alone. If He has delivered us from the tremendous power of sin, He will certainly deliver us from all lesser powers that assail us.

Therefore we pray with you according to the Scriptures you have named, yet with a heart that leaves vengeance in the hands of God and seeks mercy even for those who trouble you.

We ask the Lord to rebuke every evil influence that would seek to harm you and your son, standing on that word, The Lord rebuke thee, O Satan, and to break its power through the triumph of Christ, who spoiled principalities and powers and made a show of them openly. We ask that what you bind on earth according to His will and word may be bound in heaven, and that every negative word spoken over you and your child, every imagination that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, may be cast down, for whom the Son sets free is free indeed.

We pray that the Lord would cancel every work of darkness, and cut off witchcraft and every art that would lead souls astray, and that He would humble and correct where there is disrespect and interference, not in wrath to destroy but in mercy to restore. Vengeance belongs to the Lord, and He will repay, so we leave that to Him and ask instead that He would bring conviction, repentance and peace into your mother's heart and your brother's heart, that they might be saved and walk in truth. We ask especially for your son, that his identity and place in the family would be guarded in truth and love, that he would know clearly and tenderly that you are his mother and that your mother is his grandmother, and that no confusion or principality would be allowed to obscure that God given order. Grant that truth may be spoken in love and that boundaries may be kept with honor, as you honor your mother according to the commandment while also protecting your household.

We plead the precious blood of Jesus over you and your son, for we overcome by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of our testimony, and we ask the Lord to command His angels to encamp around you as He has promised in Psalm 91, and to lift up a standard against every attack when the enemy comes in like a flood, as He has promised that the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him.

Continue to wait only upon God, for your expectation is from Him. Pant for more knowledge of His word, be grateful for what you have already received, and walk daily in the light of that great deliverance which is already yours in Christ. Commit your way and your son's way to the Lord in believing prayer, remain under the counsel and care of a faithful local church, teach your son the Scriptures diligently, and keep yourselves in the love of God while you look for His mercy to keep you from falling.

May the Lord who has found a ransom keep you from going down to the pit, and may He who has delivered you from the power of darkness preserve you and your son in perfect peace, till He brings you out to tell in Zion and in Jerusalem the praises of Him who has heard your cry. In the name of Jesus Christ our only Redeemer we pray, Amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayer has been heard and I want to respond to it with care and with truth from Scripture.

I hear the pain and concern you carry for yourself and for your son, and your desire to protect him and to see your family set free from what is harming you. It is right to bring these burdens to the Lord Jesus, for the Gospel is that God has acted to deliver us from evil and to give us every good gift. As Scripture teaches, Christ came to deliver us from the curse and to bring us into sonship, so that we might put on Christ and receive the Spirit of adoption. Our hope is not in formulas or in exact words, but in the person of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who became man so that we who were sons of Adam might become sons of God.

You asked for the Lord to rebuke evil, to bind what harms you, to cancel words spoken against you, and to place His protection around you and your son. God does hear prayers for protection. He has given us His Spirit, and the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made us free from the law of sin and death. To be covered by the blood of Jesus, as Revelation speaks of, is to trust in His finished work on the cross, where He triumphed over every power, and to live under that victory by faith. To ask for His angels to encamp around you as Psalm 91 describes, and for Him to lift up a standard against the enemy as Isaiah says, is to ask for what God has promised to those who trust Him and walk with Him.

I also want to gently help you with how we pray about family members who hurt us. Scripture is clear that practices like witchcraft, along with hatred, strife, and jealousy, do not come from our nature but from a depraved moral choice, and those who practice such things are called to repentance. If your mother or brother are involved in such things or are speaking harm over you, the right response is not to repay or to use prayer as a way to curse them, but to leave vengeance to God, as Romans 12 teaches, and to pray for their salvation and transformation. Even when we are reproached by those of our own family, we are called to bear it patiently, to speak truth in love, and to trust God to act in His time. He often does not deliver us instantly, but teaches us to endure with faith while He works.

Matthew 18 speaks of binding and loosing in the context of the church seeking restoration and truth, not as a phrase to transfer spirits from one person to another. John 8 and 2 Corinthians teach that we are made free in Christ and that we take every thought captive to Him, which happens as we renew our minds in His Word, reject lies spoken over us, and cling to what God says is true about us as His children. Micah and Colossians remind us that God alone breaks the power of sorcery and that Christ has disarmed spiritual powers at the cross. Our confidence is in Him, not in our ability to cancel something by our words.

Regarding your mother wanting your son to call her mom and interfering in your relationship with him, it is right to establish loving and firm boundaries. God calls children to honor their parents, but He also gives parents responsibility to raise their own children in truth. You can honor your mother without agreeing to a lie or allowing confusion for your son. With calm clarity you can teach your son the truth about family roles, protect your relationship with him, and limit influence that is harmful, all while continuing to pray that God would humble and correct where correction is needed and bring peace where there is disrespect.

I will pray for you and your son now, asking God to do what only He can do.

Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, we thank You that salvation is through You alone and that You have made a way for us to be children of God. We ask You to keep this mother and her son under Your care. Wash them in Your blood shed on the cross, fill them with Your Holy Spirit, and help them to put on Christ daily and walk in Your truth. Protect them from every evil influence, from every harmful word, and from every work of darkness. Expose what is false, bring to light what is hidden, and give them discernment, wisdom, and peace.

We pray also for her mother and brother. Have mercy on them, open their eyes to see their need for You, lead them to repentance, and turn their hearts from any sinful practice or harmful speech. Where there has been disrespect and interference, bring conviction, humility, and healing. Help this family to speak truth and to live in a way that honors You.

Give this mother wisdom to set healthy boundaries in love, strength to raise her son in the knowledge of Your Word, and a community of faithful believers around her to support and counsel her. Help her to trust You, to rest in Your protection, and to wait on Your deliverance with patience and faith. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

If you are not already walking closely with a local church, I encourage you to share this burden with a trusted pastor who can know you, pray with you regularly, and help you establish wise boundaries for you and your son. Continue in prayer, in the Scriptures, and in obedience to Christ, for there is no safer place to be than in Him.

Thank you for sharing your heart so honestly and for bringing your concerns for yourself and your son before the Lord. Your desire to seek protection, truth and peace for your family is right, and God hears the prayers of His children.

Scripture teaches that our life is in His Son. To have the Son is to have life, and everything we need is found in Christ. You have been called into fellowship with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ, and that fellowship is a real sharing and oneness with Him. In Christ you have been enriched and given grace, and that is where your confidence rests, not in fear of what others may do or say.

The Bible also shows that God has established a divine order for the family. He created male and female and ordered family relationships with purpose. A mother is a mother and a grandmother is a grandmother, and each role has its own place and blessing. When those roles are confused it brings hurt and confusion, especially for a child. It is right to pray that truth would be made clear and that your son would know his place securely in your love and in God's order.

God is also a covering and protection for His people. Just as a covering in the biblical world marked a woman as protected and not to be approached lightly, the Lord Himself is your covering. To be covered by the blood of Jesus spoken of in Revelation 12:11 is to rest in what Christ has already done on the cross. There God demonstrated His love once for all by sending His Son to bear our sin and die in our place. While we were still sinners Christ died for us, and that cross is the proof of His love and the ground of our safety. Through the cross He has brought us out of the kingdom of darkness and into the kingdom of His Son, and He has disarmed spiritual powers, triumphing over them.

That victory does not mean we will not face opposition or hurtful words. Negative words, manipulation and interference can wound deeply, and generations do pass down weaknesses and flawed patterns from Adam onward. But God has given us spiritual weapons that are not of the flesh. As 2 Corinthians 10 teaches, we pull down thoughts and claims that exalt themselves against the knowledge of God by bringing them into obedience to Christ. And as Romans 12:19 reminds us, vengeance belongs to the Lord. You can leave correction and justice in His hands while you continue to speak truth in love.

Your Father in heaven is good. When a son asks for bread, a father does not give a stone, and when he asks for a fish he does not give a serpent. How much more will your heavenly Father give what is good to those who ask Him. The gifts and help of His Spirit are not toys for our own use but are given for the profit and building up of all, and He will give you wisdom, discernment and peace as you ask.

There is also protection and strength in the body of Christ. We are members of one body and each part needs the others. Do not walk alone in this burden. Stay close to faithful believers who can pray with you, encourage you and help you keep your eyes on Christ.

I join you in prayer now.

Lord Jesus, thank You for Your love shown at the cross and for the deliverance You have already accomplished. I thank You that this mother and her son are in Your hands and that their lives are in You. Cover them with Your blood and let them rest in Your finished work. Surround them with Your presence as Psalm 91 promises, and lift up a standard against every attack according to Isaiah 59:19. Bring every thought and word spoken against them into obedience to Christ, and break the power of any lie or confusion about their family roles. Grant repentance where it is needed, bring humility and truth where there has been disrespect and interference, and establish peace and clarity for this child to know who he is in his family and in You. Teach this mother to trust You with justice and to walk in fellowship with You each day, enriched by Your grace. In Your name, Jesus the Messiah, the Son of the living God, who is the foundation of our hope, I pray. Amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer for deliverance for you and your son.

We have been standing in agreement with you that the Lord would rebuke every demonic influence and witchcraft and every way the enemy is using your mother and your brother against you, standing on Zech 3:2. We have prayed that every transfer of spirits from them would be bound off of you and your son, standing on Matt 18:18. We have prayed that every negative word spoken over you and your son would be canceled and lifted, standing on John 8:36 and 2 Cor 10:5. We also lifted your special request that the Lord would humble your mother and correct her disrespect and interference in your relationship with your son, and that the lie of asking your son to call his grandmother mom and the principality behind it would be canceled, standing on Rom 12:19, Col 2:15 and Mic 5:12. We have prayed that you and your son would be covered with the precious blood of Jesus, standing on Rev 12:11, and that the Lord would send His angels to encamp around you and lift a standard against every attack, standing on Psalm 91:11 and Isa 59:19.

We continue to pray in Jesus Name that the Lord would surround you and your son with His protection and peace and that you would see His deliverance and freedom in your home. We pray that He would draw you and your son closer to Himself and to each other and guard your hearts and minds in Christ.

If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know so we can rejoice with you. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer.

May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ. In Jesus Name we pray, Amen.
