Deliverance Prayer

Your prayer has been heard, and I join you in bringing it before the Lord Jesus with thanksgiving for your faith in Him.

You have asked rightly to stand on the promises of Scripture. Jesus Himself said that if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed, and we cling to that truth from John 8:36. The Lord is faithful to rescue and to deliver, as you have prayed from 2 Timothy 4:18, and when the enemy comes in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord lifts up a standard against him, as Isaiah 59:19 declares. We also rest in the victory we have through the blood of the Lamb, according to Revelation 12:11.

I pray with you now that the Lord Jesus would set you and your son free from every verbal attack, every manipulation, and every heavy burden that has been placed upon you. May He break the cycles of accusation and of being made to feel like the problem in the family, and bring down every stronghold that exalts itself above the will of God. May He guard your minds and cover your home with His peace. I ask that He would give your son a spirit of responsibility and respect for you as his mother, and protect him from any influence that would lead him away from what is right. May the Lord cancel every harmful intent and establish you both in His truth and love, as you have asked from Micah 5:12.

In this season of struggle, remember that God does not always remove every hardship at once, but He gives strength to stand above it and to grow in trust in Him. He has delivered us from evil and brought us into sonship through Christ, and that foundation is like rock. When we build our lives upon that rock, no shaking can destroy it. And do not face this battle alone. The enemy is most bold when he finds us isolated, but the Lord has given us the Church, our brothers and sisters banded together, to support and strengthen one another. Draw near to faithful fellowship, to prayer together and to the Word, so you are not left alone in the wilderness of this trial.

For the practical burden you mentioned, I pray the Lord will lift your spirits and give you grace and order step by step to clear the clutter and prepare your room for the move you desire. Ask Him for wisdom for each small task, and trust Him to provide strength for today and hope for tomorrow.

May the Lord keep you and your son, make His face shine upon you, give you wisdom in your relationship with your mother and brother, and establish you in His restoration and peace. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus. Amen.

We have read your prayer and we join you in bringing you and your son before the Lord. He sees the pressure you feel in your home, the words spoken against you, the clutter and heaviness in your room, and the concern you carry for your son. He is faithful to hear and to deliver.

The Scripture reminds us that our struggle is not fought with physical weapons. God has given spiritual protection and spiritual weapons to withstand the attacks of the enemy. One way we stand is to refuse what is not from God, to rejoice that He has given us His Spirit and power, and to answer attacks with the Word of God as Jesus did when He said, it is written. The freedom you are asking for is the freedom Jesus promised, that if the Son sets you free you will be free indeed, and the rescue He promised to deliver from every evil work and preserve for His heavenly kingdom.

Attacks that come from outside are difficult, but attacks that come from within the family are often the most painful and make us most vulnerable. It is easy to spend all of your energy trying to defend yourself against every verbal attack and every story that is told, until your whole life becomes an effort to straighten out what others have said. God does not ask you to live that way. You can entrust yourself to Him, rest in His Word, and let Him be your defense. The family is meant by God to be a place of love and proper relationship, and when that order is broken it brings deep hurt. God can lift up a standard against those verbal assaults and be your wall of protection.

Prayer is essential, and God also calls us to take practical steps alongside prayer. When the wall was being rebuilt, the people prayed to God and they also set a watch day and night and took practical measures to guard the work. In the same way, we encourage you to keep praying and also to take steady, practical steps as God gives strength. Ask Him to lift your spirits and help you clear the clutter in your room little by little, to prepare wisely for a move as He leads. For your son, continue to teach and model responsibility and respect, with clear and loving boundaries, such as encouraging him to take the bus to school and to honor you as his mother, and to step away from any manipulation or unhealthy influence. These consistent, calm boundaries are part of setting a watch over your home.

We also want to encourage balance in seeking deliverance. God does deliver and set free, and at the same time we do not need to see a demon behind every difficulty or become anxious to find a spiritual cause for every problem. Our confidence is in Christ, in His finished work and the power of His blood, by which we overcome.

Let us pray for you:

Lord Jesus, we praise You and thank You. We ask that You set this dear mother and her son free indeed, standing on Your promise in John 8:36. Rescue and lift them out of the mess that has been pressed upon them, standing on Your promise in 2 Timothy 4:18. Lift up Your standard against every verbal attack coming against them, standing on Isaiah 59:19, and bring down every stronghold that exalts itself against Your will and Your desire to restore, heal emotions, and bring wholeness. Break cycles of accusation and of being labeled as lacking, when You have been leading toward restoration. Cancel every hold, manipulation and grooming influence over her son, standing on Micah 5:12, and help him to walk in responsibility and respect. Give him willingness to be diligent with school and to honor his mother. Give this mother renewed strength to organize her room and to prepare for what is next, with a clear mind and lifted spirit. We cover them and their minds with the precious blood of Jesus, standing on Revelation 12:11. Let Your peace guard them, let Your Word be their answer to every attack, and let Your joy be their strength. In the name of Jesus we pray, amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer for deliverance for you and your son.

We have continued to lift you both before the Lord and we have been praying that He would stop any projecting onto you and your son and set you both free as you stood on John 8:36, that He would lift you out of the mess and rescue you as you stood on 2 Tim 4:18, that He would lift up His standard against every verbal attack from your mom and your brother as you stood on Isa 59:19, and that He would break the cycles of being made the problem in the family and bring down every stronghold that exalts itself above the will of God. We have also prayed with you for your room to be freed from clutter, for your spirits to be lifted and for strength to organize and prepare to move, for your son to be responsible to take the bus to school and to be respectful to you his mom, and for every hold and manipulation and grooming toward your son to be cancelled as you stood on Mic 5:12. We continue to agree with you that you and your son and your minds are covered by the precious blood of Jesus as you stood on Rev 12:11.

We pray now in Jesus Name that the Lord would continue to be your deliverer, that where the Son sets you free you and your son will be free indeed, that He will rescue you from every evil work and preserve you for His heavenly kingdom, and that His peace would guard your hearts and minds and your home. We ask in Jesus Name that His standard would remain raised against the enemy and that He would give you grace and order for each step of preparing to move.

If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know so we can rejoice with you and give God glory. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer.

May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ. We pray this in Jesus Name, Amen.
