Deliverance Prayer

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Lord Jesus,

I praise you, and thank you. I glorify you. Lord Jesus I ask that you rebuke all the ways in which ### and the members of her household are being used by Satan, standing on Zechariah 3:2. Lord Jesus restore the life of the wife of the husband that ### got pregnant from, standing on Isaiah 61:7. As me and the members of my household have resisted ### and the members of her household, they must flee, standing on James 4:7. I ask Lord Jesus that you cancel the principality working thru ### and the members of her household, standing on Colossians 2:15. Lord Jesus bind off the counterfeit working thru ### and the members of her household, standing on Matthew 18:18. May you send your angels to encamp around any of us that ### is trying to attack in any way, standing on Psalm 91. Lord Jesus I ask that you raise standards for us against all attacks coming from ###, standing on Isaiah 59:19. Lord Jesus may you disconnect the paths of ### and me to connect and may you humble ### and all her disrespect ways, standing on Romans 12:19.

I cover myself and this prayer with the precious blood of Jesus, standing on Revelations 12:11.

In Jesus name I pray and ask. Amen.

We join you in lifting this burden before the Lord Jesus and we thank you for coming boldly to His throne with praise and thanksgiving, for the word reminds us to enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise, Psalm 100:4.

We stand with you and your household in this spiritual battle, and we agree that our struggle is not against flesh and blood but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places, Eph 6:12. We do not wrestle against the woman you mentioned nor the members of her household as people, but against the spiritual forces that would seek to use anyone for the purposes of the enemy. We agree with you that the Lord rebuke Satan, as it is written, Yahweh said to Satan, Yahweh rebuke you, Satan, Zech 3:2, and we trust the Lord Himself to do the rebuking and the humbling, for it is not our place to execute vengeance.

We also hear the deep pain surrounding the adultery that has taken place, where a married man has fathered a child outside of his marriage. We must gently and lovingly speak the truth that marriage is to be held in honor among all and the marriage bed is to be undefiled, for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers, Heb 13:4, and You shall not commit adultery, Exod 20:14. This act of fornication and adultery has brought wounding to the wife, to the marriage covenant, to the child, and to all households involved. God sees the wife who has been hurt and we pray for her restoration, for sexual sin brings deep brokenness and God desires repentance, healing, and where possible reconciliation according to His will. Instead of double shame you shall have double portion, Isa 61:7, and we pray that the Lord would bring that double portion of comfort and restoration to this wounded wife and to any children involved, and that He would bring conviction and repentance to the man and to the woman involved in the adultery, that they may turn from sin and be cleansed by the blood of Jesus, for if we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness, 1 John 1:9.

We agree with you in resisting the enemy, for the Scripture says, Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you, James 4:7, and we declare together that having been stripped, He disarmed the principalities and the powers, making a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it, Col 2:15. We bind on earth what has been bound in heaven and we loose what has been loosed in heaven, trusting the authority given to us, Most certainly I tell you, whatever things you bind on earth will have been bound in heaven, and whatever things you release on earth will have been released in heaven, Matt 18:18, but we do so in humility and submission to Christ, not in our own strength.

We pray also for your protection, for He will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways, Ps 91:11, and we ask that when the enemy comes in like a flood, the Spirit of Yahweh will lift up a standard against him, Isa 59:19. We hear your desire for the Lord to disconnect ungodly paths and we agree that the Lord will separate you from unfruitful works of darkness and establish your steps in peace. At the same time we encourage you to release any desire for personal vengeance and to trust the Lord's justice and mercy, for it is written, Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord, Rom 12:19, and to love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, Matt 5:44, that those who have been used by the enemy may come to repentance and be delivered.

We also join you in pleading the precious blood of Jesus over you and your household and over this prayer, for they overcame him because of the Lamb’s blood and because of the word of their testimony, Rev 12:11.

We now pray together.

Father in heaven, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ we come before You. We praise You and glorify You, for You alone are holy and worthy. Lord Jesus, we ask that You Yourself rebuke every scheme of Satan that seeks to use this woman and the members of her household, and that You break and cancel every principality and counterfeit work operating through them. We ask that You bind every evil influence and loose Your truth, Your conviction, Your peace, and Your deliverance. Lord, we ask that You station Your holy angels to encamp around our brother and his household and around all who are vulnerable to attack, and that You raise up a standard against every assault. Lord, we ask that You disconnect every ungodly soul tie and path between our brother and this woman, and establish boundaries that honor You. Father, we lift up the wounded wife and her marriage and the child conceived in adultery, we ask for Your deep healing, restoration, comfort, and for Your perfect justice tempered with mercy. Bring all involved to repentance and to a saving knowledge of Jesus, that they may turn from fornication and adultery and walk in holiness. Teach us to forgive as You have forgiven us and to leave vengeance in Your hands while we walk in love and holiness. We cover our brother, his household, and this prayer with the blood of Jesus. Let Your will be done and let Your name be glorified in every life touched by this situation. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

We hear the weight you are carrying for yourself and your household, and your desire to be safe and at peace under Jesus' care. Thank you for bringing this honestly to Him and asking for His protection over you.

We know spiritual opposition is real, and it can also become consuming if our attention stays fixed on another person or household. We have found it helps to gently turn the focus back to resting in Christ Himself, staying close to Him in prayer, in His Word, and in fellowship with other believers, and trusting Him to be the one who guards and guides. That keeps us from living on watch for the next attack and helps us live more settled in His presence.

A practical step that may help you in the coming days is to share this burden with a trusted pastor or mature believer in person. You could talk together about what healthy, respectful boundaries look like with ### and her household, what limited contact might be wise, and how you can continue to pray for protection without staying in constant tension. Having one or two people praying with you regularly can bring a lot of steadiness.

Father, we lift this dear one and their household to You. Cover them with Your peace, guard their home and their hearts, and lead them in wisdom. Help them to walk closely with You each day and to know Your presence as their refuge. Give them discernment for every interaction and rest in Your faithful care. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

Your cry for deliverance has been heard, and it is right to seek the Lord when the soul feels beset by sin and by the adversary. Let it never be forgotten that in all that God does, He acts from good reasons, and He has provided a way of deliverance which no man would have thought of if God had not thought of it Himself. Then He is gracious unto him, and says, Deliver him from going down to the Pit, I have found a ransom. That ransom is not a word we speak nor a formula we repeat, but the precious blood of Jesus Christ, the Son of the King who has borne the penalty of all iniquities for His people.

You have rightly felt the power of darkness and the mischief that comes from sin. Scripture says, He has delivered us from the power of darkness, and this deliverance from the power of sin is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin. We must look to our heavenly Father altogether and alone for it. It is not of him that wills, nor of him that runs, but of God that shows mercy. Unless a supernatural power is put forth, any form of deliverance from sin is worth nothing. There is no true liberty but that of which Christ makes you free. To stand upon a verse as though the words themselves were a charm is to miss the substance. The leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations because they come from Christ Himself, and the least thing about Christ is healing, but the healing comes from His person and His finished work, not from our binding phrases.

You speak of a grievous wound, a pregnancy born of unfaithfulness to the marriage covenant. Hear the truth in love. Marriage is ordained of God as a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and all sexual union belongs within that covenant alone. What has broken that covenant is sin before a holy God, and it brings deep sorrow to the wife who has been sinned against, to the household, and to all involved. We cannot ask God to bless what He calls sin, but we can and must ask Him to bring repentance, pardon and healing. For the forgiven man there can be no condemnation, and the Lord will avert the pestilence of sin from pardoned men and preserve the soul. Pray then not for the prospering of unholiness, but for the wounded wife that God would restore unto her double according to His promise, that He would heal the breach, comfort her heart, and guard her life from perishing by the sword of bitterness. Pray also for the man and the woman who have sinned, that they may be washed thoroughly from iniquity and cleansed from sin, for the same blood that covers you is able to save them if they repent and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, through whom alone is salvation.

Concerning those who trouble and oppose you, remember the believer's view of affliction. The Lord has chastened me sorely, and it is well to have grace enough to see that tribulation comes from God. He fills the bitter cup as well as the sweet goblet, and He sits as a Refiner at the door of the furnace. Our afflictions may come distinctly from man, as the result of malice, and yet they may come with even greater certainty from the Lord and may be the necessary outcome of His special love to us. For this reason we may wisely moderate our anger against second causes. Vengeance belongs unto the Lord, and you do well to leave it there as Romans teaches. To ask God to humble another is right only when we first ask Him to humble ourselves, to search our own hearts, and to keep us from the fascinating power of sin.

You ask for angels to encamp around you and for a standard to be raised against attack. The promise is sure that the Lord shall preserve you from all evil, He shall preserve your soul, and He gives His angels charge over His own. Yet the way to know that preservation is to abide under the shadow of the Almighty by faith in Christ, to resist the devil by steadfast faith and holiness, and to declare after deliverance the works of the Lord, saying, I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.

Let your prayer therefore be turned more fully to Christ. Ask that you and your household may be kept from evil company and from the devil, saved from yourself and from all the attacks of old sins, because God has said, Deliver him from going down to the Pit. Ask that you may be delivered not only from conspicuous sin but from the power of darkness itself, that you may live soberly and righteously in this present world.

May the Lord grant you this. O Lord Jesus, Thou hast found a ransom, look in grace upon this soul and this household. Keep back their souls from the Pit and their lives from perishing. Deliver them from the power of darkness and translate them more fully into Thy kingdom. Forgive all sin through Thy blood, heal all wounds according to Thy mercy, restore what sin has broken, and teach all who are concerned to walk in repentance and purity before Thee. Preserve from evil, encamp around Thy people for good, and let them live to declare Thy works. Amen.
