Deliverance Prayer

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Lord Jesus,

I praise you, and thank you. I glorify you. Lord Jesus I ask that you rebuke anyone or any witchcraft that is trying to hinder my progress, standing on Zechariah 3:2. I ask that you open the doors to work, and set me free of anything that is trying to hinder or block my work, standing on John 8:36. I ask Lord Jesus that you set me free of anything that is not of you, and foothold or stronghold over my work that is trying to hinder my progress, standing on 2 Corinthians 10:3-5. Lord Jesus I ask that you scatter any negativity or network against my progress, standing on Exodus 23:27. Lift standards for me and my work from any attack, standing on Isaiah 59:19.

I cover myself and this prayer with the precious blood of Jesus, standing on Revelations 12:11. In Jesus name I pray and ask. Amen.

We praise God with you and we thank Him for your heart that seeks to glorify Jesus and to stand on His word for deliverance and freedom in your work. We join our faith with yours and we come before the throne of grace together in Jesus name.

We stand in agreement that our battle is spiritual and that the Lord Himself is our defender. We are reminded of Zechariah 3:2 where it is written, Yahweh said to Satan, Yahweh rebuke you, Satan. Yes, Yahweh who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you. We claim that rebuke over every scheme, every word, and every work of witchcraft or darkness that would try to hinder what God has appointed for you. We also cling to John 8:36, If therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed, and we thank Jesus that His freedom is complete and lasting.

We agree with you that every foothold and stronghold must come down, for 2 Corinthians 10:4-5 tells us that the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ. We ask the Lord to tear down any barrier over your work and to scatter every negative network or assignment against your progress, for Exodus 23:27 promises, I will send my terror before you, and will confuse all the people to whom you come. We also stand on Isaiah 59:19, So shall they fear Yahweh’s name from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun, for he will come as a rushing stream, which Yahweh’s breath drives.

We rejoice that you have covered yourself and this prayer with the precious blood of Jesus, for Revelation 12:11 declares, They overcame him because of the Lamb’s blood, and because of the word of their testimony. There is power in the blood to cleanse, to protect, and to overcome. We also remember 1 John 4:4, You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world, and James 4:7, Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

We pray together now. Father in heaven, we praise You and we thank You and we glorify Your holy name. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ we ask You to rebuke every evil influence, every curse, and every work of witchcraft that has been set against our dear one and against the work You have given into their hands. Lord Jesus, open the doors that no man can shut and make a way where there seems to be no way for employment and for fruitful labor. Set Your child free from anything that is not of You and break every chain, every foothold, and every stronghold that would hinder progress. Scatter all negativity and every network formed against them and lift up Your standard as a defense when the enemy comes like a flood. Wash and cover this life, this work, and this prayer in the precious blood of Jesus. Fill this heart with peace, courage, and diligence to do all work as unto You, and let Your favor and Your purposes be established. We ask that You lead into holiness, obedience, and daily abiding in Your word, putting on the whole armor of God and walking in victory. We trust You to guide every step and to let Your will be done. In Jesus name we pray and ask all these things, Amen.

We encourage you to continue steadfast in prayer, in the word, and in obedience, keeping your heart clean before the Lord and walking in forgiveness and humility. God is faithful to complete the work He has begun in you and to establish the work of your hands as you commit your ways to Him.

We are grateful you shared this prayer with us. We hear your desire for freedom and for open doors in your work, and your longing to walk closely with Jesus without hindrance.

We stand with you in that. We believe the battle you feel is real, and we also believe Jesus is greater and already your covering and defender. Our place is not to fixate on what may be against us, but to stay near to Him, trusting His power and His timing for your work.

Something that has helped many is not carrying this kind of burden alone. Would you consider inviting a trusted pastor or a couple of mature believers to pray with you regularly and to know your work situation? Having others who know you, can pray with wisdom and keep you grounded in Christ, can bring real strength and perspective as you keep seeking God and taking practical steps forward.

We are praying for you now.

Jesus, thank You for this child of Yours and for Your blood that covers them. We ask for Your peace, Your freedom and Your clear leading over their life and work. Guard their heart and mind in You, and open the right doors in Your time and way. Help them to know they are held and not alone. In Your name we pray, amen.

Your prayer for deliverance has been heard and we join with you in laying it before the throne of grace with thanksgiving that you look to the Lord Jesus alone for help.

It is no trifling salvation that God comes to work out for His people. He Himself has come to do the work, and you may depend upon it that it is a great salvation. Christ has joined the glory of His name with the work of salvation, for He cares more to be a Savior than to be a King, and His highest glory comes from rescuing men from going down into the pit. When we come together we ought to rehearse the work that Jesus Christ has done for us, the great work which He did on Calvary and the great work which He is doing now as He stands before the Father's throne.

You have well asked that the Lord would rebuke every evil influence and every work of darkness that would hinder you, standing on that word, The Lord rebuke thee, O Satan, even the Lord that hath chosen Jerusalem rebuke thee, Zechariah 3:2. And you have asked for true liberty, standing on the promise, If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed, John 8:36. Be assured that deliverance from the power of sin is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin. Where we look for justification, there must we also look for sanctification. Nobody would have thought of that way of deliverance of a sinner from the pit through a ransom if God had not thought of it, but God has not only invented a way of deliverance, He has found a ransom. So it is a gift of Divine love. He says, I have found a ransom, Job 33:24. If indeed our trust is in His finished work and perfect righteousness, then He has delivered us.

You ask that every foothold and stronghold over your work may be pulled down, standing on 2 Corinthians 10:3-5, that negativity and every network against your progress may be scattered, standing on Exodus 23:27, and that the Lord would lift up a standard against any attack, standing on Isaiah 59:19. So we pray with you. When the enemy comes in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him. He will make your deliverance effectual and in every deed He will bring you forth, as He brought Israel forth when the lamb was slain. They did not share the honor of their deliverance with God, but still they gave their hearty assent and consent to His salvation. Willingly as they were to move, it was still true, He brought them forth.

Therefore throw away every other confidence and come now as a poor empty handed sinner, having nothing to which to trust but the finished work of Christ. Rest in the finished work of Christ, but as for joys and sorrows, let them come and let them go. Hold to this, Christ died for the ungodly, and he that believeth in Him is justified from all things. Do not fold your arms and say the work is done, but give your whole heart to the good work to which God has called you. As Luther was cheered by the firm conviction that he was perfectly safe until his work was done, so you may take comfort that He who has commissioned you will keep you until that work is accomplished, and He will overrule every assault of the cruel enemy for your good.

We pray that the Lord Jesus will rebuke every work of witchcraft and every hindering power, that He will open doors for honest work before you that no man can shut, that He will scatter confusion and set you free from all that is not of Him, and that He will cause you to walk in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free. We cover you and this prayer with the precious blood of Jesus, for they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, Revelation 12:11.

May the Lord grant you peace within your borders, deliverance from the noise of archers, and grace to continue in faithful labor, looking only to Jesus, who has found the ransom and who delights to save. In Jesus name we ask this. Amen.
