Lord Jesus,

I praise you, and thank you. I glorify you. Lord Jesus I ask that you cancel and rebuke all the ways in which my ### is being used against me, standing on Zechariah 3:2. Lord Jesus I ask that you break off of me all word curses spoken over me by my ###, setting me free, standing on John 8:36. Lord Jesus I ask that you remove off of me all self doubt that my ### tries to plant in me, I ask that you can and root out all the self doubt that my ### has tried to place in my emotions, standing on Jeremiah 12:14. Lord Jesus convict my ### for her abusive and cruel treatment towards me, standing on Romans 12:19. I ask that you place a shield of protection over my emotions Lord Jesus that my ### does not penetrate with her abuse, standing on Isaiah 54:17. Lord Jesus I ask that you restore me from all the self doubt that my ### has tried to place in my emotions, standing on Isaiah 61:7. I ask Lord Jesus that you lift standards for me against all abuse coming to me from my ###, standing on Isaiah 59:19.

We stand with you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach the throne of grace and find deliverance. Your prayer is heard, and we join our voices with yours, lifting these heavy burdens before the Lord. The Word of God assures us, "For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, and is rich to all who call on him. For, ‘Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.’" (Romans 10:12-13). It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and it is by His blood that we are set free from every curse, bondage, and scheme of the enemy.

We rebuke every word curse, every spirit of self-doubt, and every assignment of the enemy that has been spoken or planted against you. The Word declares, "Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. For it is written, ‘Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree,’ that the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Christ Jesus; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith" (Galatians 3:13-14). No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We stand on this truth and declare that the enemy’s plans over your life are shattered in Jesus’ name.

We also address the abuse you have endured with the righteousness of God. Abuse in any form is contrary to the heart of God, who calls us to love one another as He has loved us (John 13:34). The Lord sees your pain and hears your cry, and He will repay. "Beloved, don’t avenge yourselves, but rather give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, ‘Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.’" (Romans 12:19). We pray that the Lord would convict the heart of your and bring them to repentance, for their own sake and for the sake of their soul. If they remain unrepentant, we trust that God will deal with them justly, while you are shielded and protected under His wings.

The self-doubt and emotional wounds inflicted upon you are not from God. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We declare over you the truth of God’s Word: "The Spirit of the Lord Yahweh is on me, because Yahweh has anointed me to preach good news to the humble. He has sent me to bind up the broken hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and release to those who are bound, to proclaim the year of Yahweh’s favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, to provide for those who mourn in Zion, to give to them a garland for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness, that they may be called trees of righteousness, the planting of Yahweh, that he may be glorified" (Isaiah 61:1-3). You are not defined by the lies of the enemy or the cruelty of others. You are a child of God, fearfully and wonderfully made, and He has plans for you, plans for welfare, not for evil, to give you a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).

We pray that the Lord would lift His standard over you, a banner of protection and victory. "When the enemy comes in like a flood, Yahweh will lift up a standard against him" (Isaiah 59:19). May the Holy Spirit surround you with His peace, which surpasses all understanding, and guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We ask that the Lord would restore to you the years the locusts have eaten (Joel 2:25) and replace every lie of self-doubt with the truth of His Word. You are more than a conqueror through Him who loved you (Romans 8:37), and nothing can separate you from the love of God in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:38-39).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You that You are a God who sees, hears, and acts on behalf of Your children. We lift up our brother/sister to You, asking that You would break every chain of abuse, word curses, and self-doubt that the enemy has tried to place upon them. Lord, we rebuke every spirit of oppression, fear, and condemnation in Jesus’ name. We declare that Your truth shall reign in their heart, and every lie of the enemy shall be exposed and destroyed by the light of Your Word.

Father, we ask that You would shield their emotions and mind from further harm. Surround them with Your angels and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind. Restore to them the joy of Your salvation and renew a steadfast spirit within them (Psalm 51:10-12). Convict the heart of their , Lord, and bring them to a place of repentance. If they remain hardened, we trust in Your justice and ask that You would deal with them according to Your righteousness.

We pray for healing and restoration in every area of their life. Replace every lie with Your truth, every wound with Your healing, and every doubt with the assurance of Your love. Strengthen them to walk in the freedom that Christ has purchased for them, and let them rise up as a testimony of Your goodness and faithfulness. May they know deep in their spirit that they are Your beloved child, created for a purpose, and that no weapon formed against them shall prosper.

We thank You, Lord, for Your deliverance and for the victory we have in Jesus Christ. We declare that this battle belongs to You, and we trust in Your unfailing love and power. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

Hold fast to the promises of God, dear one. The enemy may have meant these trials for harm, but God will turn them around for your good (Genesis 50:20). You are not alone, and you are not without hope. The Lord is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Walk in the freedom Christ has given you, and do not let the enemy steal your joy or your peace. If you have not already, we encourage you to seek godly counsel and support from your local church or trusted believers who can stand with you in prayer and accountability. The journey to healing is not one you must walk alone.

We read your prayer and heard the weight you’ve been carrying, the way words and treatment from someone so close can plant deep self‑doubt and wear down the spirit. Emotional abuse is often invisible to others, but it is real, crushing, and can make you question your own worth. We’re glad you’re bringing this to Jesus, because He sees every hidden wound and the truth of who you are.

While you stand in faith, remember that physical and emotional safety are not separate from God’s care. Sometimes the most spiritually grounded thing we can do is to create space from harm, limiting contact, setting firm boundaries, or stepping away until the abusive behavior stops. That isn’t a lack of trust; it’s wisdom for a crushed spirit. You might also consider reaching out to a wise Christian counselor or a support group who can walk with you through the recovery, because long‑term emotional abuse leaves layers that are hard to heal alone. The pain doesn’t vanish overnight, but there are practical paths toward restoration that work alongside prayer.

Keep praying with the courage you already show. And know that the very heart of your prayer, for Jesus to break off those lies, to shield your emotions, to restore your sense of self, aligns with how He shepherds His children.

Lord Jesus, thank You that You hear every whispered cry and know the hidden blows that have left this dear one feeling small and uncertain. We ask You to wrap Your strong, gentle arms around them right now. Silence every lie that replays in their mind, and replace self‑doubt with the steady truth of who You say they are. Guard their emotions as a fortress when the attacks come. Give them clarity and courage to set whatever boundaries are needed for their safety and sanity. Surround them with safe, wise people who will help them heal. Restore what the years have stolen, and let them breathe again in the freedom You died to give. In Your mighty name we pray, Amen.

You have laid hold upon the promises, and well have you done, for the word of the Lord is no empty sound. It is a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces, a sword that pierceth even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit. That very word which you have spoken in prayer shall return not void; it is quick and powerful, and though all hell rage against you, it cannot blunt its edge.

The enemy would whisper that your prayers are shut out, that the cruel words spoken over you are fixed as iron bands. Slay that thought! Retract the word which gives lodging to such unbelief. Hath the Lord said it, and shall He not do it? Look back upon your Ebenezers; hath He not brought you through deep waters before? And will He now desert a soul that clings to His covenant? He is not a man that He should lie. Every curse that falls causeless shall be as the chaff which the wind driveth away, but the blessing of the Most High endureth forever.

The self-doubt sown in your emotions is a foul weed from the enemy’s own hand, but the Word of God is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. It layeth bare the marrow, and showeth what is of the flesh and what of the Spirit. When those old accusations rise, test them by the cross. Did not the Son of God bleed for such as you? Then how shall frail man undo what Christ hath sealed with His blood? There is a ransom found, the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world, and by that ransom you are loosed. Deliverance from the guilt and power of sin is His own work; look away from yourself, look away from the one who wounds you, and fix your gaze upon the pierced hands.

The cruel treatment you endure is not hidden from Him who seeth all. And though the iron gate of your prison seems fast, and the foe holds you in a land of darkness, yet when the appointed hour comes, the chains shall fall. The Lord hath not forsaken you; your very trouble is a proof that He is near, for whom He loveth He chasteneth. Leave the conviction of your abuser in His hands; He hath said, “Vengeance is mine, I will repay.” He will lift up a standard against the flood of abuse, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper.

Think of Peter, who fell so low, and yet one look from the Master restored him. That look said, “I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not.” So Christ intercedes for you now; His heart is not hardened, nor His ear heavy. You shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord. And when He hath delivered you, and He will, for His honor is at stake, you shall come forth as gold tried in the fire, and your mouth shall be filled with praise.

Stand still, then, and see the salvation of God. The shield of faith wherewith you shall quench all the fiery darts is the faithfulness of the Almighty. He will restore the years the locust hath eaten, and you shall know that the word of the Lord endureth forever.

You come with a prayer that mingles true reliance on God’s deliverance with a heart still tangled in the snare of resentment. Consider this: when Shimei cursed David, David said, “Let him alone, for the Lord has bidden him, that He might look on my humiliation, and the Lord will requite me good for his cursing this day.” The evil done to you becomes your crown if you bear it with thanksgiving, but if you repay it with inner bitterness or call down divine vengeance, you wound yourself more than any foe could.

You ask Jesus to break word curses and shield your emotions, and rightly you flee to Him. But hear what the Apostle says: “Love is kind... bears all things.” If you stand on Romans 12:19, then leave vengeance entirely to God. Instead of praying that your mother be convicted of her cruelty, which, when stripped bare, is a plea for her punishment, pray for her as Christ prayed for His betrayers. He washed Judas’s feet; He gave him the sop; He called him friend. If she is indeed abusive, then weep for her, for the fit subjects of weeping are not those who suffer wrong, but those who work it. They heap up for themselves a fire unspeakable, while you, by not returning evil for evil, become like your Father in heaven.

You quote many scriptures, yet examine whether you have made your tongue a weapon. A word curse spoken against you is evil, but when you rehearse the injury and demand that the Lord rebuke her, do you not fall into the same pit? The mother of all evils is esteeming our brother’s sins as something foreign to ourselves. If she has planted self-doubt in you, uproot it not by fixating on her actions but by feeding on the meat that endures to everlasting life. Labor not for the meat that perishes, the vindication of your feelings, the proving of her wrong, but for that spiritual food which is Christ Himself. He allowed Himself to be reviled and opened not His mouth, that you might learn self-command.

Honor your mother, for Christ from the cross took care for His own mother, giving her to John. Yet if she opposes you in spiritual things, you are not bound to follow her into sin; but you are never free to curse her or seek her shame. If you have already uttered bitter words against her, repent. If you have prayed against her, stop. Turn your prayer instead: “Lord, forgive her, for she knows not what she does. Grant me patience, silence my wrath, and let me not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.” When you do this, the abuse loses its power to penetrate your soul, because a heart filled with love cannot be wounded by insult.

The shield of protection you seek is not an invisible wall that blocks her words while you secretly nurture grievances; it is the peace of Christ ruling in your heart, the readiness to suffer loss and count it gain. If she robs you of peace, give thanks and glorify God, by that thanksgiving you gain ten thousand rewards. Do not demand that standards be lifted against her as if she were an invading army; rather, lift your own eyes to the cross, where injustice was swallowed up by mercy. This is the true breaking of every curse: when you bless and do not curse, the curse returns void and you walk in the liberty of the sons of God.

Leave behind this anxiety that rehearses her sins. Mary chose the good portion, sitting at Jesus’ feet; Martha was troubled about many things. Your emotions are indeed tender, but their guardian is not a prayer that your enemy be thwarted, it is the mind set on things above, where Christ is. Let your request be simple: “Lord Jesus, heal my wounded heart, teach me to love as You love, and if it be Your will, bring my mother to repentance and salvation. Give me grace to honor her despite all, and to keep my own soul from the stain of resentment. Into Your hands I commit my cause, for You are the righteous Judge.” Then be still, and know that He will requite you with good for every curse, if you meet it with blessing.

I hear the deep cry in your prayer, and I want to point you to what Scripture actually says about the words spoken against you and where your true safety lies. You are already doing the right thing by bringing the specific promises of God before the throne, but I want to help you see why those prayers have power and how to walk in that freedom daily.

When you read the Old Testament, the curses pronounced from Mount Ebal were tied to the covenant: they fell on those who turned away from God and served other gods. But notice carefully what Scripture says about an undeserved curse: it is like a fluttering sparrow, it does not settle where it has no cause. The word curses your mother speaks cannot gain a foothold in your life unless you agree with them or give them a place. Christ redeemed you from the dominion of darkness and from every curse that sin could claim. If you are in him, her words have no legitimate authority over you. They may sting and wound, but they cannot define you or determine your future.

That is why hiding God's Word in your heart is so vital. Jesus, when he faced the enemy’s lies in the wilderness, answered every single temptation with “It is written.” The enemy knows how to use the voices of those close to us to plant self doubt, just as your mother tries to plant it in your emotions. But the Scripture is your living defense. When those accusing thoughts rise up, counter them immediately with what God says about you: that you are loved, chosen, redeemed, and more than a conqueror. The Word is a shield; it quenches all the flaming darts of the wicked. Isaiah promised that no weapon formed against you would prosper, and Jesus said that everyone whom the Son sets free is free indeed. That includes freedom from the long shadow of a parent’s cruelty.

As for the injustice and abuse, you have already taken the right stand by handing it over to the Lord, standing on Romans 12:19. God’s eyes are on all the ways of people, and nothing is hidden from his face. He sees the abusive treatment, and he is the one who convicts, who disciplines, and who deals with the proud. You do not need to carry the burden of making things right; he will lift up a standard against the enemy on your behalf. In the meantime, your part is to refuse to let her words penetrate your inner sanctuary. Keep your heart and mind steeped in the psalms and the promises, and ask the Holy Spirit to quicken you with his truth every time that self doubt tries to creep back in.

I have seen over and over how God sends his word and heals, just as you prayed from Isaiah 61. He restores the years the locusts have eaten, and he takes the ashes of a wounded soul and exchanges them for beauty. The pain does not disappear overnight, but as you leatn to feast on Scripture, it becomes a joy and a rejoicing to your heart, sweeter than honey. The very words that once showed you your distress will become your strength and your song. So keep praying, keep declaring those verses aloud if you need to, and keep asking Jesus to surround your emotions with his peace that passes understanding. He who redeemed you from the iron furnace will not abandon you now. Stand firm, and watch him do what only he can do.
