Deliverance Prayer

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Lord Jesus,

I praise you, and thank you. I glorify you. Lord Jesus I ask that you set me free of any blockage or curse over me because of ### that is preventing me from being with the right person, standing on John 8:36. Lord Jesus I ask that you break off of me any witchcraft or spell sent my way by ### to keep me from progressing or in hopes to savotage my love life, standing on Micah 5:12. I ask for restoration of anything that ### may have hindered in relation to my live life and in me being with the right person, standing on Isaiah 61:7. I bind off of me any transfer of spirits coming to me from ###, standing on Matthew 18:18. I cover this prayer with the precious blood of Jesus, standing on Revelations 12:11. In Jesus name I pray and ask. Amen.

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, yet filled with the authority and power of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has already triumphed over every force of darkness. Your cry for deliverance is heard, and we stand with you in the mighty name of Jesus, the Name above all names, the only Name by which we can be saved and set free (Acts 4:12).

First, we want to affirm your faith in Jesus Christ. You have rightly called upon His name, and we rejoice that you are standing on the promises of God’s Word. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father (John 14:6), and it is by His blood that we are cleansed and set free from every curse, bondage, and work of the enemy (Revelation 12:11). We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from Him (Isaiah 54:17).

However, we must address the nature of your request with both truth and love. You have asked for deliverance from blockages, curses, and witchcraft that are allegedly preventing you from being with "the right person." While we take seriously the reality of spiritual warfare (Ephesians 6:12) and the need for deliverance from demonic influences (2 Corinthians 10:4-5), we must also examine the heart behind this prayer. The Bible is clear that our focus should not be on finding "the right person" but on becoming the right person, one who is wholly devoted to God and His will (Matthew 6:33). Marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6), and it is designed to reflect Christ’s relationship with His church (Ephesians 5:22-33). If your desire for a spouse is rooted in loneliness, fear, or a longing for fulfillment outside of God, we must rebuke that spirit in Jesus’ name. Our ultimate satisfaction and purpose are found in Christ alone (Philippians 4:19).

We also must address the mention of witchcraft and spells. While these are real and evil works of darkness, we do not combat them with fear or superstition but with the authority of Jesus Christ. The blood of Jesus has already broken every curse (Galatians 3:13), and greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). However, we must caution against fixating on the works of the enemy, as this can give him more power in your mind than he deserves. Instead, we fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). If you have engaged in any practices that open doors to the enemy, such as consulting psychics, participating in occult activities, or holding unforgiveness, we urge you to repent and renounce these things in the name of Jesus. Forgiveness is a powerful weapon against the enemy’s schemes (Mark 11:25-26).

Now, let us pray together in the authority of Jesus’ name:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You that You are our Deliverer, our Strong Tower, and our Refuge. We declare that no curse, no spell, no work of witchcraft, and no plan of the enemy has any power over Your child, for the blood of Jesus has broken every chain. We stand on Your Word, which says, "If the Son therefore will make you free, you will be free indeed" (John 8:36). We rebuke every spirit of fear, loneliness, and desperation that seeks to drive this child away from Your perfect will. We break every generational curse, every word spoken in judgment, and every assignment of the enemy against their life, their purpose, and their future marriage, in Jesus’ name.

Lord, we ask that You would expose and remove every blockage that is not of You. If there is unforgiveness, bitterness, or unrepentant sin in their heart, reveal it, Lord, and lead them to repentance. Cleanse them by the blood of Jesus and fill them with Your Holy Spirit. We declare that any transfer of spirits or demonic influence sent their way is bound and rendered powerless. We loose the fire of the Holy Spirit to consume every evil work and to purify their heart, mind, and spirit (Matthew 18:18).

Father, we pray for restoration in every area of their life. Restore what the enemy has stolen, including joy, peace, and hope (Isaiah 61:7). We ask that You would heal any wounds from past relationships, whether caused by their own sin or the sin of others. Give them wisdom and discernment to walk in Your ways and to recognize Your will for their life. If it is Your will for them to marry, prepare them to be a godly spouse and lead them to someone who loves You above all else. If it is Your will for them to remain single, fill them with contentment and purpose in that calling (1 Corinthians 7:7-8).

Lord, we cover this prayer in the precious blood of Jesus, which speaks a better word than the blood of Abel (Hebrews 12:24). We declare that Your child is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37). We thank You for Your faithfulness and for the victory that is already theirs in Jesus’ name.

Finally, we encourage you to walk in the freedom Christ has already given you. Do not live in fear of the enemy’s schemes but stand firm in the armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18). Spend time in God’s Word, in prayer, and in fellowship with other believers who can encourage and strengthen you. If you have not already, consider seeking godly counsel from a pastor or mature Christian who can help you walk out this deliverance. Remember, the enemy’s goal is to keep you focused on what you don’t have rather than on the One who holds your future. Fix your eyes on Jesus, and trust that He will lead you in the path of righteousness for His name’s sake (Psalm 23:3).

We declare over you today: You are free. You are loved. You are called. And no weapon formed against you shall prosper, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

We’re standing with you in this, and we take your prayer seriously. When someone has experienced the specific, targeted harm you describe, the weight of it can feel isolating, like a shadow over hopes you’ve carried honestly before the Lord. You’ve done the right thing by bringing it to Jesus. His authority is real, and no curse or scheme can override what He has already accomplished for you.

One bit of grounded wisdom we’ve seen help others in this spot is not only praying against interference but also actively crowding it out with what is good and true. Sometimes that means inviting a mature, trusted prayer partner or small group from your church to pray with you regularly, not just once, but as an ongoing covering. The enemy’s tactics often thrive in isolation; they lose power when we walk in open, accountable community. If there’s any lingering unforgiveness, fear, or connection to the person you named that still occupies your thoughts, you might also quietly, in your own words, renounce any claim it’s had on your heart. That can bring a surprising release, even when you’ve already prayed hard.

We don’t say this as a checklist, but simply as a quiet, steady way forward. Jesus sets free not through a one-time event but through a living relationship, step by step, as we abide in Him and let His word and His people surround us. You aren't alone in the fight, and your prayer is already breaking ground.

Lord Jesus, we lift up this dear one. You see the strategies arrayed against them, and You are greater. Cut through any lingering entanglement or fear. Fill every hollow place the enemy has tried to occupy with Your presence and peace. Bring trustworthy voices alongside them for prayer and encouragement. Restore what’s been delayed or disrupted, and guide their heart to the person You have prepared. In Your mighty name we pray. Amen.

What is this talk of curses and spells? Have you forgotten that Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us? If you are in Christ Jesus, no enchantment can hold you, for greater is He that is in you than any power of darkness. You cry for deliverance, and well you may, but the true deliverance from the pit of Hell was wrought out by a ransom found in love divine, not by your own binding or loosing. That you stand on John 8:36 is well, but see to it that the Son makes you free indeed, free from the love of this world, free from a heart that chases after idols, even the idol of a relationship not yet given.

O friend, I hear the tone of love abounding, but love can also lament and grow cold. Do not let your affections become so fixed on a future companion that you neglect your first love for Christ. The hindrance may not be a curse from another, but the coldness of your own heart toward the Bridegroom of your soul. Strive to know more of that love which passes knowledge, and let nothing lie by, eat and drink abundantly of His banquet. When the Lord Jesus fills your vision, these fears of witchcraft and spells will be swallowed up in the sunshine of His presence.

The true curse fell on Him who was made a curse for us. Dare you doubt your deliverance? God has said, "I have found a ransom." The clock of mercy struck the hour when Christ cried, "It is finished," and all powers of darkness were shattered. Your deliverance is not a future hope if you are in Him; it is accomplished. Sin, Satan, and the malice of men cannot separate you from His love. Do not bind and loose as if you yourself hold the keys; Christ holds them. Your prayer is but a reflection of a heart anxious for good, yet I urge you, spend less time naming the enemy and more time joying in Him as He joys in you.

If there be a true desire for a godly marriage, wait upon the Lord in the path of righteousness. But know this: a heart eaten up with thoughts of spells and blockages may be a soul losing appetite for the Word of God, growing greedy for empty phrases. Look well to your own spirit. Is there any sin unconfessed, any unforgiving bitterness? These are the real saboteurs of peace and progress. The love of Christ to His chosen made Him desire to bind Himself to you in an everlasting covenant; surely He will not withhold any good thing. Trust His timing, love Him more, and recount His deeds of grace toward you. Then, if it be His will, He will bring the right companion in His season, and no power of darkness can prevent it.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You ask to be set free from a curse, but Christ has already redeemed you from the curse of the Law, being made a curse for you. What then can any spell or ill will add? Watch that you do not let fear of another’s malice entrap your mind, for the Apostle numbers witchcraft among things that arise from a depraved moral choice, not an inescapable force, and he warns that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom. Your true deliverance is not the removal of every earthly hindrance to a love life, but the blotting out of sin, adoption as a son, and the hope of a better resurrection. Do not seek a deliverance that spares you from every trial; many were tortured and would not accept release, that they might obtain something far greater. The good tidings Christ declared are these: punishment removed, sins forgiven, Paradise opened, the curse blotted out. Let that be your rest, and do not allow anxieties over what another may have done to cloud the freedom you have already received when you put on Christ.

Your prayer reaches for freedom, and that desire itself shows the Spirit drawing your heart toward the fullness Jesus secured for you. You stand on John 8:36, that the Son makes free indeed, and that is a firm foundation. But let me gently turn your gaze from what you feel is being done against you toward what Christ is already doing within you.

The deepest reality of the Christian life is not found in identifying every curse or spell you suspect has been sent your way. The deepest reality is the presence of the Holy Spirit bearing witness with your spirit that you are a child of God, and that Spirit produces fruit. The singular fruit of the Spirit is love. Not a desperate craving for a relationship to fill what feels missing, but the divine, self giving love that flows from abiding in God. You can seek deliverance from hindrances, but true freedom is found when the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus expels every other law, including the fear that someone else can sabotage what God ordains. The darkness is not driven out by frantic effort. It is expelled by the greater force of light and life coming in.

Consider the nature of the love you are asking God to restore or bring about. The love the Spirit births in us is not manufactured by emotional urgency, nor can it be stolen by another person’s ill will. It is the overflow of knowing God, because God is love. When you possess that Spirit given love, your heart is not easily enticed by substitutes or anxious over blockages, because you are already bound by a greater law, the law of love for Jesus Christ. He does not merely clear the way for you to find the right person. He offers you Himself as the source of a life so full that His love becomes what you remember more than any earthly longing. Examine your heart and ask whether your life is led by the Spirit of God. When His Spirit is uppermost, you connect with Him, and that connection produces not panic over what someone else may intend, but the peace, joy, and righteousness of His kingdom.

The power that raised Jesus from the dead does not merely counter spells. It gives life to your mortal body and frees you from the law of sin and death. No longer let your mind be consumed with the works of the flesh or the threats of others. If your life is dominated by the Spirit, you have the mind of the Spirit, and you think on spiritual things. The old life, governed by fear of what another person might do, only yields death. The new life in the Spirit yields an abundant harvest of love. You are not fighting to regain something lost as though you were still a slave. You have been brought into a newness of life. Walk in it. Rest in the truth that the blood of Jesus has cleansed you, and His Spirit now dwells in you, making you inseparable from His love. That is your unshakable standing.
