We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this request for deliverance in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved and set free. We stand with you, beloved, in agreement that it is for freedom that Christ has set us free (Galatians 5:1), and we declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
First, we must address the areas where the enemy seeks to gain a foothold, for the Word of God is clear: "Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour" (1 Peter 5:8). While we do not know the specific strongholds you are battling, we rebuke every spirit of bondage, fear, addiction, oppression, or any other work of the enemy in the name of Jesus. We declare that you are a child of God, washed in the blood of the Lamb, and no chains shall hold you.
We stand on the promise of John 8:36, just as you have, and declare that if the Son sets you free, you are free indeed. We take authority over every transfer of spirits, every generational curse, and every assignment of the enemy against your life, binding them in the name of Jesus and loosing the peace, joy, and freedom that Christ died to give you (Matthew 18:18). We rebuke every evil influence that seeks to use these strongholds against you, standing on Zechariah 3:2: "May Yahweh rebuke you, Satan! Yes, may Yahweh rebuke you, who has chosen Jerusalem. Isn’t this a burning stick plucked out of the fire?"
We cover you in the precious blood of Jesus, which speaks a better word than the blood of Abel (Hebrews 12:24). By His blood, you are redeemed, cleansed, and made whole. We plead the blood over your mind, body, spirit, and soul, declaring that no evil thing shall harm you (Psalm 91:10). The enemy has no legal right to your life, for you belong to Christ.
We pray that the Holy Spirit would fill you afresh, bringing conviction, repentance, and a deeper hunger for righteousness. May He reveal any areas of your life where you have unknowingly given the enemy access, whether through unforgiveness, bitterness, sin, or ungodly soul ties, and lead you into full restoration. "Create in me a clean heart, O God. Renew a right spirit within me" (Psalm 51:10).
We also encourage you to walk in the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18), standing firm against the schemes of the devil. Put on the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. Pray at all times in the Spirit, and stay alert with perseverance.
Beloved, remember that deliverance is not just a one-time event but a journey of walking in the freedom Christ has already won for you. Surround yourself with godly believers who can stand with you in prayer and accountability. Fill your mind with Scripture, for the Word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12). Worship the Lord, for the enemy cannot stand in the presence of praise (Psalm 22:3).
We pray this over you now:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Name that is above every name. We thank You that You are our Deliverer, our Strong Tower, and our Redeemer. Lord, we lift up our brother/sister in Christ, who is crying out for freedom. We ask that You would break every chain, shatter every stronghold, and silence every lying voice of the enemy. Set them free, Lord, from every bondage that has sought to ensnare them.
We rebuke every spirit of oppression, fear, addiction, or any other work of darkness in the name of Jesus. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We plead the blood of Jesus over their life, covering them from the top of their head to the soles of their feet. Let the blood speak life, healing, and protection over them.
Father, we ask that You would fill them with Your Holy Spirit, leading them into all truth and guiding them in the paths of righteousness. Reveal to them any areas where the enemy has gained access, and grant them the grace to repent and turn away from every sin. Restore their soul, Lord, and renew their mind with Your Word.
We pray that You would surround them with godly believers who can stand with them in prayer, encouragement, and accountability. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to stand firm in the freedom Christ has given them. May they walk in the fullness of Your Spirit, bearing the fruit of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23).
We thank You, Father, that You are faithful and just to complete the good work You have begun in them (Philippians 1:6). We declare that they are more than conquerors through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37). May they walk in the victory that is already theirs in Jesus' name.
We pray all these things in the mighty, matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
