We stand with you in agreement, lifting your cry for deliverance to the throne of grace. The Word of God is clear, where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom (2 Corinthians 3:17). You are right to stand on the authority of Scripture, for Jesus has given us power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19). We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
However, we must gently yet firmly address a matter of concern in your prayer. While you rightly invoke the name of Jesus and plead His blood, we must remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of wickedness (Ephesians 6:12). Your mother is not your enemy, she is a soul for whom Christ died (Romans 5:8). Though her negativity may wound you, we must pray for her with the love of Christ, not bind spirits from her as if she were the source of evil. The enemy seeks to divide families, and we must not give him foothold by speaking against our own flesh and blood in this way.
Instead, we pray that the Lord would break every generational curse, every ungodly soul tie, and every demonic influence that has sought to pass down through your family line. We stand on the truth that Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (Galatians 3:13). We declare that you are a new creation in Christ, and the old things have passed away, behold, all things have become new (2 Corinthians 5:17).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Name that is above every name (Philippians 2:9-10). We thank You for Your deliverance and for the freedom that is ours in Christ. Lord, we ask that You would break every chain of negativity, bitterness, and ungodly influence that has sought to bind this precious one. We plead the blood of Jesus over their mind, their emotions, and their spirit, that no weapon formed against them would prosper.
Father, we ask that You would heal their heart from any wounds inflicted by words or actions, whether intentional or not. Let Your love and peace guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We pray for their mother as well, Lord. Soften her heart, open her eyes to Your truth, and draw her to repentance and salvation if she does not yet know You. May Your Holy Spirit convict her of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8), and may she come to know the freedom that is found only in Jesus.
We declare that this one is free from every generational curse, every ungodly soul tie, and every demonic assignment sent against them. We cancel every word spoken over them that does not align with Your Word, and we release blessing, favor, and life in its place. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, Lord, that they may walk in the fullness of Your purpose for their life.
We thank You, Father, that You hear our prayers and that You are faithful to complete the good work You have begun in us (Philippians 1:6). We trust in Your deliverance, Your healing, and Your restoration. In the powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and in His Word. Spend time in worship, for the enemy cannot stand in the presence of praise (Psalm 149:6-9). Surround yourself with godly fellowship, for iron sharpens iron (Proverbs 27:17). And remember, the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds (2 Corinthians 10:4). You are not alone in this battle, we stand with you, and more importantly, the Lord of Hosts stands with you.
