We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting this burden of verbal abuse, false accusations, and spiritual warfare to the Lord. First, we thank you for approaching the Father in the name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we may be saved or find deliverance (Acts 4:12). It is only through Christ that we have access to the Father, and we stand firm in that truth as we intercede on your behalf.
Father God, we stand on Your Word in Zechariah 3:2, declaring that the enemy has no right to accuse Your child. We rebuke every lying tongue, every insult, and every false accusation spoken against this dear one. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We take authority over every word of insult, every spirit of provocation, and every lie that has been spoken, binding them in the name of Jesus and loosing peace, truth, and righteousness in their place.
We stand on Romans 12:19, Lord, and ask that You avenge this wrong. It is not for us to repay evil with evil, but to leave room for Your wrath, for it is written, “Vengeance is mine; I will repay, says the Lord.” We trust in Your justice, Father, and ask that You intervene with Your mighty hand of correction. Break the cycle of insults and the witchcraft that seeks to operate behind them, as we stand on Colossians 2:15, which declares that Jesus disarmed principalities and powers, making a public spectacle of them and triumphing over them in the cross. We declare that every assignment of the enemy against this situation is null and void, and we cancel every word that does not align with Your truth.
Father, we lift up the false accusation of lesbianism, which is an abomination in Your sight (Leviticus 18:22, Romans 1:26-27). We rebuke this lie in the name of Jesus and declare that Your truth prevails. The enemy seeks to shame and discredit, but we stand on Revelation 12:11, declaring that the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony overcome him. We cancel every poisonous word spoken and ask that You cleanse this situation with the blood of Jesus, restoring dignity, honor, and truth.
We also address the spirit of belittlement and provocation at work in this situation. The Word warns us in Proverbs 15:1 that a harsh word stirs up anger, but a gentle answer turns away wrath. Lord, we ask that You convict hearts and bring repentance where it is needed. We stand on Isaiah 59:19, asking that You lift a standard against this spirit of insult and provocation. Let Your Spirit move mightily, exposing lies and bringing correction. We declare that no one is above Your discipline, for You discipline those You love (Hebrews 12:6).
We pray for this dear one who has endured these attacks. Father, heal the wounds of the heart, restore joy, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen them to walk in love, even toward those who persecute them, for we are called to bless and not curse (Romans 12:14). Let Your light shine in this darkness, and may Your truth prevail.
Finally, Lord, we ask that You break every chain of generational sin, every spirit of contention, and every assignment of the enemy in this situation. We declare freedom in the name of Jesus, for whom the Son sets free is free indeed (John 8:36). We thank You for Your faithfulness and trust in Your perfect will to be done.
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
