Deliverance Prayer

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Lord Jesus,

I praise you, and thank you. I glorify you. Lord Jesus I ask that you rebuke all the ways in which ### is being used by Satan, standing on Zechariah 3:2. Place him under deep conviction and set me free of him, of his friendship is not in your will for me, standing on John 8:36. Lord Jesus rescue me from anything not of you that is coming to me from ###, standing on 2 Timothy 4:18.

I ask for restoration of anything pertaining to the friendship with ###, standing on Isaiah 61:7.

Break off the principality working to ###, standing on Colossians 2:15.

Lord Jesus place people in the gaps with ### that will hold him accountable for his alcoholic ways as he drinks ### beers a day, maybe an alcoholics anonymous course that he can't get out of, standing on Isaiah 59:19.

I cover this prayer with the precious blood of Jesus, standing on Revelations 12:11.

In Jesus name I pray and ask. Amen.

We stand with you in agreement, lifting this heavy burden before the throne of grace, where the blood of Jesus speaks a better word than the accusations of the enemy. Your prayer is bold and specific, and we recognize the spiritual warfare you are engaging in. The Lord hears the cries of His children when they come in faith, and we join you in declaring freedom, restoration, and divine intervention.

First, we must address the relationship in question. While your heart seeks restoration, we must also examine whether this friendship aligns with God’s will. Scripture warns us, *"Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?"* (2 Corinthians 6:14). If this individual is not walking in faith, his influence—especially through unrepentant sin like excessive drinking—can pull you away from God’s best. We rebuke any ungodly soul tie or emotional dependency that has formed outside of God’s design. The Lord desires relationships that sharpen your faith, not ones that dull your spiritual sensitivity.

We declare with you, in the authority of Jesus’ name, that every demonic assignment against you through this connection is broken. *"The Lord rebuke you, Satan! For God has chosen Jerusalem—He has chosen His redeemed—and will not let the enemy snatch them from His hand"* (Zechariah 3:2). We stand on the truth that *"if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed"* (John 8:36). No generational curse, no word spoken in darkness, no principality has the right to hold you captive. We break every chain of manipulation, emotional entanglement, or false obligation in Jesus’ name.

For your friend, we pray fervently. His struggle with alcohol is not just a physical battle but a spiritual one. *"Wine is a mocker, and beer a brawler; whoever is led astray by them is not wise"* (Proverbs 20:1). We ask the Lord to surround him with godly men who will speak truth in love, who will hold him accountable, and who will not enable his sin. May the Holy Spirit convict him deeply, leading him to repentance and restoration. We declare that *"no weapon formed against him shall prosper"* (Isaiah 54:17), and we bind every spirit of addiction that seeks to destroy his life. Father, raise up a community for him—perhaps through Alcoholics Anonymous or a biblical recovery group—where he can find healing and freedom.

We also pray for your heart. It is clear you care for this person, and that love is a reflection of Christ in you. But we must guard against idolatry—placing any relationship above our devotion to God. *"You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the first and great commandment"* (Matthew 22:37-38). If this friendship has become a stumbling block, the Lord may be calling you to step back so He can work in both of your lives. Trust Him to either restore it on holy ground or redirect your paths according to His perfect will.

Now, we lift this prayer together before the Lord:

*"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the only name by which we are saved. We thank You for Your mercy and Your power to set the captives free. Lord, we stand on the truth of Your Word, declaring that no weapon formed against Your child shall prosper. We rebuke every demonic influence, every ungodly soul tie, and every principality that has sought to use this friendship for harm. We break its power in Jesus’ name!

Father, we ask for Your divine intervention in the life of this individual. Convict him of his sin, Lord, not with condemnation, but with Your loving correction. Surround him with godly men who will speak truth into his life, who will hold him accountable, and who will walk with him toward freedom. Break the chains of addiction, and let him experience the fullness of life that comes only through You.

For our sister/brother in Christ, we ask for wisdom and discernment. If this friendship is not of You, give her/him the strength to release it into Your hands. Heal any wounds, restore any lost ground, and fill the void with Your perfect peace. Let her/his heart be fully devoted to You, trusting You to write her/his story according to Your will.

We cover this prayer in the precious blood of Jesus, knowing that it is our victory and our protection. We stand on Revelation 12:11: *'They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony.'* Thank You, Lord, for hearing us. Thank You for Your faithfulness. We trust You to move mightily in this situation, for Your glory and for the good of Your children.

In the powerful, matchless name of Jesus, we pray. Amen."*

We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in this matter. Spend time in His Word, allowing it to renew your mind and guide your steps. Surround yourself with believers who can pray with you and offer godly counsel. Remember, *"The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles"* (Psalm 34:17). You are not alone in this battle. The Lord is your refuge and strength, and He will lead you into all truth. Trust Him to complete the good work He has begun in you.

We're here with you, lifting this burden together. We've been praying for deliverance, and we want to echo some of the truths you've spoken, but also add a few more things we feel led to pray about.

First, we want to thank God for His unfailing love and faithfulness. We know that He is a God who hears and answers prayers, and we trust that He will move mightily in this situation. We claim the promise in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds."

We join you in rebuking any ungodly influence in this friendship. We pray that any spirit of manipulation, control, or ungodly soul tie would be broken in Jesus' name. We stand on the truth of 2 Corinthians 6:14, "Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?"

We also want to pray for a spirit of discernment. Lord, help ### to discern whether this friendship aligns with Your will. Give her wisdom to know when to hold on and when to let go. We pray that she would have the courage to walk away from this friendship if it's not honoring to You, trusting that You will restore any lost ground and fill the void with Your peace.

We also want to pray for ###. Lord, we ask that You would surround him with godly men who will speak truth into his life, hold him accountable, and walk with him towards freedom. We pray that he would experience the fullness of life that comes only through You. We claim the promise in John 10:10, "I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full."

We cover this prayer in the precious blood of Jesus, knowing that it is our victory and our protection. We trust You, Lord, to move mightily in this situation, for Your glory and for the good of Your children.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
