We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this request for deliverance and freedom in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. First, we want to affirm the power and authority of Jesus’ name—there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). It is only through His blood, shed on the cross, that we have access to the Father and the victory over every principality, power, and spiritual wickedness in high places (Ephesians 1:21, Colossians 2:15).
We stand with you in agreement, declaring that every ungodly soul tie, word curse, and transfer of spirits from this past relationship must be broken and dismantled. The Word of God declares in 2 Corinthians 6:14, *"Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship does righteousness have with lawlessness? Or what communion does light have with darkness?"* This relationship was not aligned with God’s design, and we boldly rebuke every ungodly union, illegitimate foundation, and spiritual contamination that has sought to take root in your life. We declare that every negative stronghold, principality, and spirit of entitlement, bitterness, and hatred operating through this situation is bound and cast out in Jesus’ name (Matthew 18:18, Mark 16:17).
We take authority over every word curse, offense, and foothold that has been established through strife, unforgiveness, or manipulation. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that every chain is broken, and every assignment of the enemy against you is nullified by the blood of Jesus (Revelation 12:11). The Word says in Isaiah 54:17, *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment."* We stand on this promise, declaring that you are free from every curse, every negative word, and every ungodly tie.
We also address the issue of fornication, which is sexual immorality outside the bounds of marriage. The Bible is clear in 1 Corinthians 6:18-20, *"Flee sexual immorality! ‘Every sin that a man does is outside the body,’ but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s."* We pray that the Lord would cleanse your heart and mind from any residue of this past sin, and we ask for His healing and restoration over every area of your life that has been affected.
Forgiveness is a powerful weapon against the enemy’s schemes. You have taken a crucial step by choosing to forgive, and we stand with you in declaring that every root of bitterness is uprooted and destroyed (Hebrews 12:15). The Lord says in Isaiah 61:7, *"Instead of your shame you shall have double honor, and instead of confusion they shall rejoice in their portion. Therefore in their land they shall possess double; everlasting joy shall be theirs."* We declare that you will walk in the fullness of this promise—double for your trouble, restoration, and joy in the place of every past pain.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for the blood of Jesus that was shed for our deliverance, healing, and freedom. We stand on the authority of Your Word, declaring that every ungodly soul tie, word curse, and transfer of spirits from this past relationship is broken and dismantled now. We rebuke every principality, power, and spirit of entitlement, bitterness, and hatred that has sought to operate in this situation. We command them to leave in Jesus’ name and never return.
Lord, we ask that You would humble every heart involved in this ungodly union. Break every spirit of pride, entitlement, and rebellion, and let Your light shine into the darkness. We declare that every negative stronghold is torn down, and every weapon formed against Your child is rendered powerless. We cover this situation with the precious blood of Jesus, and we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper.
Father, we thank You for the forgiveness that has been extended, and we ask that You would cleanse every area of this individual’s life that has been affected by sin. Heal their heart, mind, and body, and restore to them the joy of Your salvation. We declare that they are free from every curse, every negative word, and every ungodly tie. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus.
We pray for complete restoration—spirit, soul, and body. Let them walk in the fullness of Your promises, experiencing double honor in place of shame and everlasting joy in place of sorrow. We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and for the victory that is already won through the cross. We declare that this individual is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37).
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray and declare these things. Amen.
We encourage you to continue standing on the Word of God and walking in the freedom that Christ has already secured for you. Surround yourself with godly community, immerse yourself in Scripture, and remain vigilant against the enemy’s attempts to bring condemnation or shame. You are not defined by your past, but by the finished work of the cross. The Lord is your Redeemer, and He is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6). Walk in the light, and let His love and truth guide your steps.
