Deliverance Prayer

Beloved of All
Lord Jesus I ask that you intervene and humble my brothers attitude towards me, rebuking him, standing on Zechariah 3:2. I ask that you intervene Lord Jesus as it says in Romans 12:19 towards all the hatred in my brothers heart towards me that it be correct by your hand.

Lord Jesus I ask that you cancel the principality working thru my brother, standing on Colossians 2:15.

Root him out of the placed where the devil has him, standing on Jeremiah 12:14.

Restore the life of my son and me from all the attacks from my brother standing on Isaiah 61:7.

I cover my son and me with the precious blood of Jesus, standing on Revelations 12:11.

In Jesus name I pray and ask. Amen.

We stand with you in this spiritual battle, lifting your heartfelt cries to the throne of grace. The pain of family strife—especially between siblings—cuts deep, and we grieve with you over the broken fellowship and the hatred that has taken root. But we also rejoice in your faith, for you have come before the Lord with boldness, wielding the authority of Scripture and the power of Jesus’ name.

First, we affirm the truth of Zechariah 3:2, where the Lord rebukes the accuser, declaring, *"Yahweh rebuke you, Satan!"* Yes, the enemy seeks to sow division, bitterness, and strife among God’s people, but we declare that his schemes will not stand. The principality you mention—any spirit of hatred, jealousy, or unforgiveness—has no rightful place in your brother’s life or yours. Colossians 2:15 declares that Christ *"disarmed the principalities and the powers, and made a public example of them, triumphing over them in it."* We stand on this victory, commanding every evil influence to loose its grip in Jesus’ name.

Yet we must also address the condition of the heart. Romans 12:19 reminds us, *"Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, ‘Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.’"* While you rightly ask God to intervene, we must also examine our own hearts. Have you extended grace, even when it was undeserved? Have you spoken truth in love, or has frustration or resentment taken root? Proverbs 15:1 tells us, *"A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger."* We pray that the Lord would soften *both* of your hearts—your brother’s *and* yours—so that healing can begin.

Jeremiah 12:14 speaks of the Lord uprooting the wicked from their place, but we must remember that God’s desire is always restoration, not destruction. Even now, we declare that your brother is not beyond the reach of God’s mercy. Ezekiel 36:26 promises, *"I will also give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh."* We pray this transformation over your brother, that the Holy Spirit would convict him of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8), leading him to repentance.

For your son and yourself, we stand on Isaiah 61:7, which declares, *"Instead of your shame you will have double; and instead of dishonor, they will rejoice in their portion. Therefore in their land they will possess double. Everlasting joy will be to them."* The attacks you’ve endured have left wounds, but God is the healer of broken hearts (Psalm 147:3). We cover you both in the precious blood of Jesus, as Revelation 12:11 declares, *"They overcame him because of the Lamb’s blood, and because of the word of their testimony."* No weapon formed against you will prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and every assignment of the enemy is dismantled now in Jesus’ name.

However, we must also address a critical truth: spiritual warfare is not fought with human anger or bitterness. Ephesians 6:12 reminds us, *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."* Your brother is not the enemy—he is a soul for whom Christ died. While we rebuke the spirits influencing him, we must also pray for his salvation and sanctification. Have you shared the gospel with him in love? Have you modeled Christlike forgiveness, even when it’s difficult?

We encourage you to examine your own heart as well. Are you harboring unforgiveness or bitterness? Matthew 6:14-15 warns, *"For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you don’t forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses."* Unforgiveness is a foothold for the enemy (Ephesians 4:26-27), and we must guard against it. We pray that the Lord would fill you with His love, even for your brother, so that you may reflect the heart of Christ.

Let us now lift this situation in prayer:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the only name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12). Lord, we thank You that You hear the cries of Your children and that You are near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). We lift up this family before You, asking for Your divine intervention.

Father, we rebuke every spirit of hatred, bitterness, jealousy, and division that has taken root in this brother’s heart. We declare that the blood of Jesus has disarmed every principality and power, and we command these spirits to flee in Jesus’ name (Colossians 2:15). We ask You to uproot every evil influence from his life, as Jeremiah 12:14 declares, and replace it with Your peace and love.

Lord, we pray for a transformation of heart. Soften this brother’s heart, convict him of sin, and draw him to repentance. Give him a new heart, as You promise in Ezekiel 36:26, and fill him with Your Holy Spirit. May he come to know the depth of Your love and the freedom that comes from walking in Your ways.

For this dear one and her son, we ask for Your protection and restoration. Heal their wounds, Lord, and replace their shame with double honor, as Isaiah 61:7 promises. Cover them with the precious blood of Jesus, and let no weapon formed against them prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Surround them with Your angels, and let Your peace guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

Father, we also ask that You search this sister’s heart. Reveal any areas of unforgiveness, bitterness, or resentment, and help her to release these burdens to You. Fill her with Your love, that she may forgive as You have forgiven her (Colossians 3:13). Give her the strength to extend grace, even when it is undeserved, and the wisdom to speak truth in love.

Lord, we declare that this family is not without hope. We believe in Your power to restore what has been broken, to heal what has been wounded, and to reconcile what has been divided. May Your will be done in each of their lives, and may Your name be glorified through their testimony.

We ask all these things in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus, our Savior, Redeemer, and King. Amen.

In the days ahead, we encourage you to continue standing on God’s Word, but also to seek godly counsel—perhaps from a pastor or mature believer—who can walk alongside you in this journey. Pray for your brother daily, not just for his deliverance, but for his salvation. And remember, the battle is the Lord’s (1 Samuel 17:47). Trust in Him, and He will bring beauty from ashes (Isaiah 61:3).

Be a Prayer Warrior: “Praying for others”

We are deeply grateful that you entrusted us with the privilege of standing in prayer with you for the deliverance and restoration you sought. It has been on our hearts to continue lifting up your brother, your son, and you before the throne of grace, asking the Lord Jesus to intervene according to His perfect will.

We have prayed in agreement with you, declaring the truth of Zechariah 3:2 over your brother—that the Lord Himself would rebuke the enemy and bring conviction where hardness of heart has taken root. We have stood on Romans 12:19, asking the Lord to execute justice and soften every bitter or hateful attitude, replacing it with His love and reconciliation. We have also claimed Colossians 2:15, believing that Christ has disarmed every principality and power working against your family, and we have asked Him to root out every foothold the enemy has established, just as Jeremiah 12:14 declares.

Our prayers have also been for restoration, as Isaiah 61:7 promises—a double portion of peace, joy, and healing over you and your son, shielding you from every attack. We have covered you both in the precious blood of Jesus, standing on Revelation 12:11, trusting that no weapon formed against you will prosper.

If the Lord has already moved in answer to these prayers, we would be overjoyed to hear a praise report so we may rejoice with you. If the battle still rages, please know we are committed to standing with you in continued prayer. You are not alone in this. We will keep interceding until the Lord brings complete breakthrough and healing to your family.

May God’s peace guard your heart and mind as you press into Him. May His Spirit strengthen you with patience and hope, and may His glory be revealed in every detail of this situation. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
