We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of compassion and truth, lifting this request in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). We rejoice that you have called upon the name of Jesus, for He alone has the power to break every chain and set the captive free.
Father God, we stand with this dear one who seeks deliverance from soul ties that have bound them in ways that do not honor You. We declare that where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom (2 Corinthians 3:17). We rebuke any ungodly soul tie formed through sinful relationships, emotional entanglements, or any union that was not ordained by You. Lord Jesus, we ask that You sever every unholy connection, just as You severed the chains of the demon-possessed man in the region of the Gerasenes (Mark 5:1-15). We stand on Your Word in John 8:36, "If therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed." We declare that this one is no longer a slave to sin or to any ungodly influence from this relationship.
We recognize that soul ties can form through sexual immorality, emotional dependency, or even through words and vows that were not aligned with Your will. If this soul tie was formed through fornication, adultery, or any sexual sin, we repent on behalf of this one and ask for Your cleansing. Your Word declares in 1 Corinthians 6:18, "Flee sexual immorality! 'Every sin that a man does is outside the body,' but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body." We ask that You wash and renew this one with the blood of Jesus, restoring purity and holiness.
Lord, we also address any ungodly soul ties that may have formed through manipulation, control, or emotional abuse. We declare that no weapon formed against this one shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We send back every curse, every word of death, and every ungodly influence that was sent their way. We return to the sender every ungodly thing that was taken from this one, and we ask that You restore double what was lost, according to Your promise in Joel 2:25, "I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten."
We stand on Isaiah 61:7, "Instead of your shame you will have double; and instead of dishonor, they will rejoice in their portion. Therefore in their land they will possess double. Everlasting joy will be to them." Lord, we ask that You restore joy, peace, and wholeness to this one. Break every yoke of bondage, and let them walk in the freedom that Christ purchased for them on the cross.
We cover this prayer in the precious blood of Jesus, knowing that it is by His blood that we overcome the accuser of the brethren (Revelation 12:11). We declare that no weapon formed against this one shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, they shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We plead the blood of Jesus over their mind, will, emotions, and spirit, protecting them from every attack of the enemy.
Heavenly Father, we ask that You fill this one with Your Holy Spirit, guiding them into all truth and leading them in paths of righteousness for Your name’s sake (Psalm 23:3). Surround them with godly counsel and fellowship, that they may grow in wisdom and discernment. Help them to guard their heart with all diligence, for out of it are the issues of life (Proverbs 4:23).
We pray that this one would walk in the fullness of their identity in Christ, knowing that they are a new creation (2 Corinthians 5:17). May they no longer be entangled with the yoke of bondage but stand firm in the liberty by which Christ has made them free (Galatians 5:1). We declare that they are more than conquerors through Him who loved them (Romans 8:37).
Lord, we ask that You bring godly relationships into their life—friendships, mentors, and if it is Your will, a spouse who loves You and will walk with them in holiness. May their future relationships be built on the foundation of Christ, honoring You in every way. We pray that they would flee from every appearance of evil and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart (2 Timothy 2:22).
We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness and Your promise to never leave nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5). We trust in Your goodness and Your perfect plan for this one’s life. May they walk in the fullness of Your blessings, free from every chain, and living victoriously in Christ Jesus.
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
