Deliverance Prayer

Lord Jesus,

I praise you, and thank you. I glorify you. Lord Jesus I ask that you rebuke my brother and all his negative talk towards me, standing on Zechariah 3:2. Lord Jesus I ask that you humble my brothers attitude towards me, standing on: Proverbs 16:18 (ESV) is a classic verse: "Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall." Another powerful verse is James 4:6 (ESV), which says, "God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble."

Lord Jesus I ask that you break off all of my brothers disrespect towards me, Ephesians 4:31-32: "Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice. Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you"

Lord Jesus I ask that you lift off of me all of my brothers heaviness, standing on: Isaiah 61:3 (NKJV): "...To give them beauty for ashes, The oil of joy for mourning, The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness...".Psalm 119:28 (NIV): "My soul is weary with sorrow; strengthen me according to your word.".1 Peter 5:7 (NKJV): "...casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.".

Lord Jesus break the alliance that my mom has with my brother to mistreat me, standing on Exodus 23:27.

We stand with you in agreement, lifting this heavy burden to the throne of grace, where our Lord Jesus Christ intercedes for us. Your heart is clearly seeking restoration and peace within your family, and we join you in praying for God’s intervention according to His perfect will.

First, we rebuke every spirit of division, strife, and disrespect that has taken root in your family. The Word of God is clear: *"If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men"* (Romans 12:18). Yet we also recognize that peace sometimes requires divine intervention when human efforts fail. We stand on Zechariah 3:2, just as you did, declaring that the Lord rebukes the accuser and defends His children. We pray that your brother’s words and actions would align with Ephesians 4:29: *"Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but such as is good for building up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear."*

Your brother’s pride and negative attitude are not from God. Proverbs 16:18 warns that *"Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall."* We pray that the Holy Spirit would convict him of his ways and lead him to humility, as James 4:6 promises: *"God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble."* May he be broken before the Lord, not in shame, but in repentance, so that he may be restored to right relationship with you and with God.

We also address the alliance you mentioned between your mother and brother. Exodus 23:2 warns against joining with wrongdoers: *"You shall not follow a crowd to do evil."* We pray that any ungodly agreement or influence would be shattered in Jesus’ name. May your mother’s heart be softened to see the truth and act in love, as commanded in Ephesians 4:31-32: *"Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."*

The heaviness you carry is not yours to bear alone. Isaiah 61:3 declares that God gives *"beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness."* We pray that the Lord would lift this burden from you and replace it with His peace. Psalm 119:28 reminds us that our strength comes from His Word, and 1 Peter 5:7 encourages us to cast all our cares upon Him because He cares for us. We declare that you will no longer carry the weight of their mistreatment but will walk in the freedom Christ purchased for you.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach Your throne. Lord, we lift up this family to You, asking for Your divine intervention. We rebuke every spirit of pride, disrespect, and division that has taken root in this home. We declare that Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

Father, we ask that You humble this brother. Break the hardness of his heart and replace it with a spirit of humility and love. Let him see the error of his ways and turn from his negative talk and attitudes. May he speak life and encouragement, as Your Word commands, and may he treat his sister with the honor and respect she deserves as Your beloved child.

We also pray for this mother. Lord, reveal to her any ungodly alliances or influences in her life. Soften her heart to see the truth and act in a way that honors You. Let her be a peacemaker in her home, fostering unity and love rather than division.

Father, we lift up this sister who has carried the weight of this mistreatment for too long. We ask that You lift the spirit of heaviness from her and replace it with Your joy and peace. Strengthen her according to Your Word, and remind her daily that she is deeply loved by You. Help her to release this burden to You, trusting that You will vindicate her and work all things together for her good (Romans 8:28).

Lord, we declare that this family will be restored. May they walk in forgiveness, love, and unity, reflecting Your heart to the world. We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you to continue standing on God’s promises, even when the situation seems unchanged. Remember that God is at work even when we cannot see it. Keep your heart soft toward your family, praying for them rather than harboring bitterness. Forgiveness does not mean what they did was right, but it releases you from the bondage of unforgiveness. As you wait on the Lord, meditate on His Word and allow it to renew your mind. You are not alone in this battle—we stand with you, and more importantly, God stands with you.

Dear friend, we echo the prayers of our sister and add our own heartfelt pleas to the Lord on your behalf. We've been moved by your request and want you to know that you're not alone in this. We're standing with you, lifting your burden to the Lord, just as He promises in Matthew 11:28-29, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. We join in rebuking the spirit of disrespect and division in your family, as our sister mentioned, and we pray that the Lord would replace it with His peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). We ask that the Lord would humble your brother's heart, breaking the pride and prideful attitudes that have caused division. We pray that he would see the error of his ways and turn to humility and love, treating you with the respect and kindness you deserve.

We also lift your mother up in prayer, asking the Lord to reveal any ungodly alliances or influences in her life. We pray that she would have a soft heart, seeing the truth and acting in love, as commanded in Ephesians 4:31-32. We ask that she would be a peacemaker in her home, fostering unity and love instead of division.

Lastly, we want to remind you of the Lord's promise in 2 Corinthians 1:3-4, "Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God." We pray that the Lord would comfort you in your heaviness, giving you beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, and a garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness (Isaiah 61:3).

We're here for you, praying with you, and believing with you for a turnaround in your family. Keep standing on God's promises, even when the situation seems unchanged. Trust that He is at work, even when you can't see it. And remember, you are deeply loved by God and by us.

Seek His Face and Presence not just His hand. In his Presence is everything you need. This does not mean you can have any material thing, perfect spouse because you asked for it in Jesus Christ name. You will have your needs, some of your wants, and difficult trials. The difficult trials are supposed to refine your character and make you more like Jesus. He is more interested in getting you to everlasting life and having your heart in the right place than he is in giving you gifts. It’s eternal life he’s concerned with.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
