We come before the throne of grace with this request, lifting up the situation concerning this individual in prayer. First, we acknowledge that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and it is by His name alone that we are saved. As it is written, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." (Acts 4:12). We pray that this truth would be made clear to all involved, that they may come to know Jesus as Lord and Savior if they do not already.
Father God, we stand on Your Word and declare that the fear of the Lord is indeed the beginning of wisdom (Proverbs 9:10). We pray for this individual, that You would draw them into a deep and reverent fear of You, softening their heart to receive Your truth. Lord, we ask that You break every stronghold of harshness and strife that may be operating in their life. As Your Word declares, "For though we walk in the flesh, we don’t wage war according to the flesh; for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ" (2 Corinthians 10:3-5). We rebuke every demonic influence that seeks to harden their heart and resist Your will. In the name of Jesus, we command these spirits to flee, for "be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you" (James 4:7).
Lord Jesus, we ask that You scatter every plan of the enemy designed to discourage or hinder progress. Just as You promised in Exodus 23:27, "I will send my terror before you, and will confuse all the people to whom you come, and I will make all your enemies turn their backs to you," we trust that You will go before us and confuse the enemy’s plans. We pray for clarity and wisdom to be poured out upon this individual, that they may walk in the fullness of Your purpose. As it is written, "Yahweh said to Satan, 'Yahweh rebuke you, Satan! Yes, Yahweh who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you! Isn’t this a burning stick plucked out of the fire?'" (Zechariah 3:2), we declare that any confusion or lack of clarity is removed by Your mighty hand.
We cover this individual in the precious blood of Jesus, which speaks a better word than the blood of Abel (Hebrews 12:24). By the power of the blood, we cancel every scheme of the enemy that seeks to use them for ungodly purposes. As Revelation 12:11 declares, "They overcame him because of the Lamb’s blood, and because of the word of their testimony. They didn’t love their life, even to death." We plead the blood of Jesus over their life, their mind, their heart, and their actions, that they may be set free from every counterfeit spirit. We bind every false spirit that seeks to operate through them, standing on the authority You have given us: "Most certainly I tell you, whatever things you bind on earth will have been bound in heaven, and whatever things you release on earth will have been released in heaven" (Matthew 18:18).
Heavenly Father, we ask for Your full protection over every work submitted to this individual. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We trust in Your promise that "the angel of Yahweh encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them" (Psalm 34:7). Lord, we pray that this individual would walk in the fullness of Your protection, guided by Your Holy Spirit in all they do.
We also take this moment to address any areas where this individual may be walking outside of Your will. If there is unrepentant sin, hardness of heart, or any form of rebellion against You, we pray that You would convict them by Your Holy Spirit. If they are engaged in any relationship that does not honor You—whether it be fornication, adultery, or any other immoral behavior—we pray that You would bring them to true repentance. Your Word is clear: "Marriage is honorable in all, and the bed undefiled; but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers" (Hebrews 13:4). We pray that they would seek holiness and purity in all their relationships, aligning their lives with Your Word.
Lord, if this individual is not yet saved, we pray that You would draw them to Yourself. We ask that You would open their eyes to see their need for a Savior and that they would confess Jesus as Lord, believing in their heart that You raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9). May they experience the new birth and walk in the freedom that comes from knowing You.
In all these things, we trust in Your perfect will and timing. We ask that You would work mightily in this situation, bringing glory to Your name. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
