We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, standing firmly on the authority of Jesus Christ, the Name above all names, through whom alone we have access to the Father. Your prayer is a cry for deliverance, and we join with you in spiritual warfare, knowing that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12).
First, we must address the omission of the name of the individual you are praying about. While we understand the desire for privacy, spiritual warfare requires clarity and specificity. The enemy thrives in ambiguity, and we must call out the works of darkness by name, trusting in the power of Jesus to rebuke and destroy them. "For there is no other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12). We encourage you to boldly declare the name of Jesus over this situation and to identify the specific person or household with faith, knowing that "if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us" (1 John 5:14).
We rebuke in the mighty name of Jesus every demonic assignment, every spirit of witchcraft, divination, torment, and intimidation that has been unleashed against you and your household. We stand with you on the truth of God’s Word: "The Lord rebuke you, Satan! Yes, the Lord who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you! Isn’t this a burning stick plucked out of the fire?" (Zechariah 3:2). We declare that no weapon formed against you will prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you will condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We take authority over every evil spirit operating through this individual and their household, commanding them to flee in the name of Jesus. "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you" (James 4:7).
We bind every transfer of spirits and break every ungodly soul tie that has been formed through unholy alliances, manipulation, or sinful agreements. "Most certainly I tell you, whatever things you bind on earth will have been bound in heaven, and whatever things you release on earth will have been released in heaven" (Matthew 18:18). We cancel every demonic opposition set to hinder, intimidate, or oppress you and others. The Lord goes before you and will be with you; He will not leave you nor forsake you. Do not fear nor be dismayed (Deuteronomy 31:8).
We lift up the standards of God over your life and the lives of all who are experiencing spiritual torment. "So shall they fear the name of the Lord from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun; for he will come as a rushing stream, which the breath of the Lord drives" (Isaiah 59:19). We declare restoration over every area of your life that has been attacked—your peace, your health, your relationships, and your purpose. "Instead of your shame you will have double; and instead of dishonor they will rejoice in their portion. Therefore in their land they will possess double. Everlasting joy will be to them" (Isaiah 61:7).
We cover you and your household with the precious blood of Jesus, which speaks a better word than the blood of Abel (Hebrews 12:24). No weapon formed against you will prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you will condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord (Isaiah 54:17). We stand on the victory of the cross, where Jesus disarmed the principalities and powers, triumphing over them in it (Colossians 2:15). "They overcame him because of the Lamb’s blood, and because of the word of their testimony. They didn’t love their life, even to death" (Revelation 12:11).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for the authority You have given us to trample over all the power of the enemy. We declare that no weapon formed against us will prosper, and every tongue that rises against us in judgment, we condemn in the name of Jesus.
Lord Jesus, we rebuke every demonic spirit, every work of witchcraft, and every assignment of the enemy operating through this individual and their household. We command every spirit of torment, intimidation, and oppression to flee now in the name of Jesus. We break every ungodly soul tie and cancel every demonic opposition set against Your children. We declare that the blood of Jesus covers us, and no evil can penetrate Your divine protection.
Father, we ask for Your healing and restoration over every area of our lives that has been attacked. Restore to us the years the locusts have eaten, and let us rejoice in Your salvation. Lift up Your standard over us, Lord, and let Your glory be our rear guard. We trust in You, our Deliverer, our Strong Tower, and our Refuge.
We pray for this individual and their household, that their eyes would be opened to the truth of the Gospel. Soften their hearts, Lord, and draw them to repentance. Let them see the error of their ways and turn from darkness to light, from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Jesus (Acts 26:18).
We declare that we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us, and nothing can separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord (Romans 8:37-39). We walk in victory, in faith, and in the power of Your Spirit, Lord. Thank You for hearing our prayer and for Your faithfulness to deliver us from every evil work.
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to stand firm in your faith, putting on the full armor of God daily so that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil (Ephesians 6:11). Surround yourself with believers who can pray with you and hold you accountable. Spend time in God’s Word, for it is sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit, of joints and marrow, and is able to discern the thoughts and intentions of the heart (Hebrews 4:12).
If this individual or their household is engaging in practices such as witchcraft or divination, we must warn you that these are abominations to the Lord (Deuteronomy 18:10-12). Do not be deceived; no one who practices such things will inherit the kingdom of God (Galatians 5:20-21). If you or anyone you know is involved in these sins, repentance and turning away from them is necessary. "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9).
Finally, we urge you to examine your own heart and life. Are there areas where you have given the enemy a foothold through unconfessed sin, bitterness, or unforgiveness? The enemy cannot be cast out of a house that is not fully surrendered to Christ. "Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new" (2 Corinthians 5:17). Walk in the newness of life, and let the peace of God rule in your heart.
