We stand with you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach the throne of grace and find deliverance. Your prayer is heard, and we join our voices with yours, lifting up this battle to the Lord, who has already won the victory on the cross.
First, we must address the spiritual warfare you are facing with clarity and authority. Witchcraft and demonic oppression have no place in the life of a believer, for we have been set free by the blood of Jesus. The enemy may seek to bind and torment, but we declare that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). The Lord rebukes the devourer on your behalf, just as He did for Joshua in Zechariah 3:2, where it is written, *"Yahweh said to Satan, ‘Yahweh rebuke you, Satan! Yes, Yahweh who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you! Isn’t this a burning stick plucked out of the fire?’"* You are not a stick left to burn—you are plucked out, redeemed, and set apart for God’s purposes.
We also stand on John 8:36, which declares, *"If therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed."* This freedom is not just a future hope but a present reality for those who are in Christ. The chains of oppression, whether they come from past sins, generational curses, or direct spiritual attacks, are broken by the power of Jesus’ blood. We plead that blood over you now, as Revelation 12:11 proclaims, *"They overcame him because of the Lamb’s blood, and because of the word of their testimony."* Your testimony is that Jesus has already overcome, and His blood is your protection and your victory.
However, we must also address the reality of spiritual warfare with wisdom. While we stand against the enemy’s schemes, we must ensure that our focus remains on Christ and not on the enemy. The apostle Paul warns us in Ephesians 6:12, *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."* The ### you mention is not your true enemy—she is a person, possibly deceived or used by the enemy, but the real battle is spiritual. We must pray for her as well, that her eyes would be opened to the truth of the gospel and that she would be set free from any bondage that has led her to operate in witchcraft.
We also encourage you to examine your own life for any open doors that may have allowed the enemy access. Have you engaged in any sin that has not been confessed and repented of? Are there areas of unforgiveness, bitterness, or ungodly soul ties that need to be broken? James 4:7 tells us, *"Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you."* Submission to God is the first step in resisting the enemy. We urge you to search your heart and confess any sin, trusting in 1 John 1:9, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."*
Now, let us pray together in the authority of Jesus’ name:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name that is above every name. We thank You that You have given us authority over all the power of the enemy, and we stand on that authority now. Lord, we lift up our brother/sister who is under attack from witchcraft and demonic oppression. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we rebuke every spirit of witchcraft, oppression, and torment in the name of Jesus.
We plead the blood of Jesus over every area of their life—spirit, soul, and body. We break every curse, every generational tie, and every ungodly soul tie that has been formed through this spiritual attack. We declare that they are free indeed, for if the Son has set them free, they are free indeed (John 8:36). We command every demonic spirit assigned against them to flee now, in Jesus’ name. You have no legal right to remain, for they belong to Christ, and His blood has purchased their freedom.
Lord, we also pray for the person involved in this witchcraft. We ask that You would open their eyes to the truth of the gospel. Soften their heart, Lord, and draw them to Yourself. Let them see the emptiness of the enemy’s lies and the fullness of life that is found only in You. Break every chain of deception in their life, and set them free from any bondage that has led them to operate in darkness.
Father, we ask that You would fill our brother/sister with Your Holy Spirit. Strengthen them in their inner man, that they may stand firm against the schemes of the devil. Surround them with Your angels, Lord, and let Your peace guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Remind them daily that they are more than conquerors through Him who loved them (Romans 8:37).
We also ask that You would reveal any areas in their life where the enemy may have gained a foothold. Show them any sin that needs to be confessed and repented of, and give them the strength to turn away from it. Cleanse them by the blood of Jesus, and restore to them the joy of their salvation.
Finally, Lord, we declare that this battle is not theirs but Yours. You are the Lord of hosts, the God who fights for Your people. We trust in Your victory, and we thank You for the deliverance that is already theirs in Christ. May they walk in the freedom and authority that You have given them, and may they be a light to others who are still in darkness.
We pray all of this in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to continue standing firm in your faith, knowing that the battle belongs to the Lord. Surround yourself with godly believers who can pray with you and encourage you. Fill your mind with Scripture, and let the Word of God be your sword against the enemy’s lies. You are not alone in this fight—Jesus is with you, and He has already won the victory. Walk in that truth, and do not let the enemy steal your peace or your joy. The Lord is your refuge and your strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Trust in Him, and He will lead you into complete freedom.
