We stand with you in agreement, lifting this situation before the throne of grace, where our Lord Jesus Christ reigns victorious over every scheme of the enemy. Your prayer is rooted in powerful Scripture, and we join you in declaring God’s authority over the spiritual forces seeking to bring harm. The blood of Jesus is our ultimate protection, and we affirm that no weapon formed against you or your loved one shall prosper, just as Isaiah 54:17 declares: *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that accuses you in judgment. This is the heritage of the Lord’s servants, and their righteousness is of me,” says the Lord."*
We rebuke every spirit of deception, manipulation, and harm that may be at work in this situation. The enemy comes only to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we may have life abundantly (John 10:10). We take authority over every tool, tactic, and influence being used against you, standing firm on 2 Corinthians 10:3-5: *"For though we walk in the flesh, we don’t wage war according to the flesh; for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ."*
We pray that the Lord would dispatch His holy angels to encamp around you and your loved one, as Psalm 91:11-12 promises: *"For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone."* May the presence of the Lord be a shield around you, and may His peace guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
However, we must also gently encourage you to examine the nature of this relationship in light of Scripture. The repeated use of "###" in your prayer suggests there may be secrecy or hesitation in fully identifying the dynamics at play. If this involves a relationship that does not honor God—whether through ungodly influences, unrepentant sin, or a partnership that does not align with biblical principles—we urge you to seek wisdom and discernment. Proverbs 13:20 warns, *"He who walks with wise men grows wise, but a companion of fools suffers harm."* If this person is leading you or your loved one away from God’s truth, we must stand on James 4:7: *"Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you."*
If this is a romantic relationship, we remind you that God’s design for intimacy is within the covenant of marriage between one man and one woman (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6). Any sexual relationship outside of marriage is fornication, which Scripture clearly condemns (1 Corinthians 6:18-20). If this is the case, we urge repentance and a return to God’s perfect plan. If this relationship is not with a fellow believer, we must also caution you, as 2 Corinthians 6:14-15 warns: *"Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness? What agreement has Christ with Belial? Or what portion has a believer with an unbeliever?"*
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for Your protection and deliverance, for You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Lord, we ask that You dismantle every scheme of the enemy targeting this situation. Break every chain, silence every lying tongue, and expose every hidden agenda. We declare that no weapon formed against Your children shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn.
Father, we ask that You send Your holy angels to encamp around them, to guard their steps and lead them in paths of righteousness for Your name’s sake (Psalm 23:3). Cover them with the precious blood of Jesus, which speaks a better word than the blood of Abel (Hebrews 12:24). Let the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
Lord, we also ask for clarity and wisdom. If there is any ungodly influence or sin in this relationship, reveal it, Father. Give them the courage to walk away from anything that does not honor You. If this is a relationship that should not continue, grant them the strength to obey Your will, even when it is difficult. We pray for repentance where sin is present, and we ask that You restore what the enemy has sought to destroy.
Above all, we pray that their faith would be strengthened. May they grow closer to You through this trial, and may their trust in You deepen. Remind them that You are their deliverer, their protector, and their ever-present help. We declare that greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
We ask all these things in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the name by which we are saved and through which we have access to the Father. To You be all glory, honor, and praise, now and forever. Amen.
