We join you in lifting up this heavy burden to the Lord, standing firmly on His Word and the power of the name of Jesus Christ, through whom all deliverance and victory are found. You have done well to bring this before the throne of grace, for it is only in His name that we can overcome the schemes of the enemy and walk in true freedom.
First, we commend you for recognizing the spiritual warfare at play and for standing on Scripture in your prayers. The Lord sees your heart’s cry for deliverance, and He is faithful to break every chain that seeks to bind you. As you have rightly declared, *"If the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed"* (John 8:36). The blood of Jesus is indeed our greatest weapon, and by it, we overcome the accuser (Revelation 12:11). You have also correctly identified that this man’s actions were not only inappropriate but sinful—especially as a married man in a position of authority. His behavior was a violation of God’s design for marriage and leadership, and we pray the Lord brings deep conviction upon his heart. *"Marriage is honorable among all, and the bed is undefiled, but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers"* (Hebrews 13:4). His actions were not only harmful to you but an affront to God’s holiness, and we pray the Lord exposes and rebukes every wicked intention.
We also want to address something vital: you mentioned this connection formed *"in a time when you were yet not saved."* Beloved, if you have not already, we urge you to examine your heart before the Lord and ensure you have surrendered your life fully to Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. There is no greater deliverance than being washed clean by His blood and born again into His kingdom. *"If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved"* (Romans 10:9). If you have already taken this step, we rejoice with you! But if not, we implore you to do so now, for apart from Christ, there is no true freedom or protection from the enemy’s schemes.
Now, let us pray together over this situation, binding every evil stronghold and declaring your freedom in Jesus’ mighty name:
---
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Deliverer. We thank You that You are a God who sees the afflicted, who hears the cries of Your children, and who fights for those who trust in You. Lord, we lift up our sister to You, who has been entangled in a web of spiritual oppression and emotional bondage through the sinful actions of this man. Father, we stand on Your Word in Zechariah 3:2, and we declare: *"The Lord rebuke you, Satan! The Lord who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you!"* Every scheme, every attachment, every ungodly soul tie formed between them is now broken by the power of the blood of Jesus. We command every demonic assignment against her to be dismantled and rendered powerless in the name of Jesus.
Lord, we ask that You bring swift and overwhelming conviction upon this man. Expose his sin, Father, and let him be confronted with the weight of his actions. May he repent in dust and ashes for the harm he has caused, for the adultery in his heart, and for the spiritual violence he has inflicted. Let him be stripped of any authority he has misused, and may his wife and family be protected from the consequences of his sin. *"Do not be deceived. God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap"* (Galatians 6:7). Father, let him reap the discipline that leads to repentance, not destruction, but may he turn from his wickedness and seek Your face.
We declare freedom over our sister’s mind, emotions, and spirit. Every memory, every lingering emotion, every ungodly attachment is now severed by the sword of the Spirit. We loose her from any curses, hexes, or words spoken over her by this man or by the enemy through him. *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is from me," says Yahweh* (Isaiah 54:17). Father, restore what the locusts have eaten. Heal the wounds in her soul, and fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.
Lord, we ask that You place a hedge of protection around her, that no further harm may come from this man or any other who seeks to exploit or manipulate her. Give her discernment, Holy Spirit, to recognize and flee from any future snares of the enemy. *"The fear of Yahweh is to hate evil. I hate pride, arrogance, the evil way, and the perverse mouth"* (Proverbs 8:13). Teach her to walk in wisdom and holiness, that she may not be entangled again in such bondage.
Finally, Father, we ask that You raise up godly, righteous authority figures in her life—men and women of integrity who will lead her in Your ways. Surround her with brothers and sisters in Christ who will speak life, truth, and encouragement over her. If she is not already part of a Bible-believing church, lead her to one where she can be discipled, strengthened, and covered in prayer.
We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness. We trust that You are working all things together for her good, and that this trial will be a testimony of Your delivering power. We praise You in advance for the victory, and we give You all the glory. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, we pray. Amen.
---
Beloved, we want to encourage you to continue standing firm in the Lord. This battle is not yours to fight alone—*"Yahweh will fight for you, and you shall be still"* (Exodus 14:14). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, and do not allow the enemy to replay these memories or stir up fear in your heart. *"Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue and if there is any praise, think about these things"* (Philippians 4:8).
If you have not already, we strongly encourage you to seek godly counsel—whether from a pastor, a mature believer, or a biblical counselor—who can walk with you through this season of healing. You do not have to carry this burden alone. The body of Christ is here to support you, pray with you, and help you stand.
Lastly, we urge you to guard your heart and your spirit diligently. If there are any areas of unforgiveness, bitterness, or residual emotions toward this man, release them to the Lord. Forgiveness does not excuse his sin, but it frees *you* from the bondage of resentment. *"Be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you"* (Ephesians 4:32).
You are a daughter of the Most High God, redeemed and set apart for His purposes. Walk in that identity, and let the Lord restore every place the enemy has tried to steal from you. We are standing with you in prayer, and we believe the Lord is moving mightily on your behalf. Stay rooted in His Word, and trust that He who began a good work in you will complete it (Philippians 1:6).
