We join you in lifting up this urgent cry for deliverance and justice, standing firmly on the authority of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has already triumphed over every power of darkness. Your heart for the vulnerable and your boldness in spiritual warfare are commendable, and we stand with you in this battle, for we know that *"the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds"* (2 Corinthians 10:4, WEB).
The evil of sex trafficking is an abomination before the Lord, a grotesque perversion of the dignity and worth He has placed upon every human life. The Scriptures declare that *"rescue the perishing; don’t hold back. Pull them out of every kind of danger"* (Proverbs 24:11, WEB), and we are called to be the voice of the voiceless, interceding for those who cannot cry out for themselves. You have rightly stood on Zechariah 3:2, where the Lord rebukes Satan, saying, *"The Lord rebuke you, Satan! The Lord who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you! Isn’t this a burning stick plucked out of the fire?"* Indeed, the Lord is plucking many out of the fire of this horrific evil, and we decree that every plan of the enemy to ensnare, intimidate, or destroy these precious lives is exposed, thwarted, and rendered powerless by the blood of Jesus.
We also stand with you on Jeremiah 12:14, declaring that the Lord will uproot the strongholds from which these wicked operations are coordinated. May the Lord bring confusion into the camps of the wicked, just as He did with the enemies of Israel in 2 Chronicles 20:23: *"For the children of Ammon and Moab stood up against the inhabitants of Mount Seir, utterly to kill and destroy them. When they had finished slaughtering the inhabitants of Seir, everyone helped to destroy another."* Let the wicked turn on one another, let their plans be exposed, and let their networks be dismantled by the mighty hand of God. We pray that law enforcement and godly authorities would be led by the Holy Spirit to uncover and dismantle these operations, bringing justice to the oppressed.
For those who have already been harmed by this evil, we stand on Isaiah 61:7, proclaiming double restoration—restoration of their dignity, their peace, their bodies, and their spirits. May the Lord replace their ashes with beauty, their mourning with joy, and their despair with praise (Isaiah 61:3). Let them encounter the healing power of Jesus, who *"binds up the brokenhearted, [and] proclaims liberty to the captives"* (Isaiah 61:1, WEB). We cover them in the blood of Jesus, as you have declared from Revelation 12:11: *"They overcame him because of the Lamb’s blood, and because of the word of their testimony. They didn’t love their life, even to death."* May their testimonies become a mighty weapon against the enemy, and may they walk in the freedom and victory Christ has already secured for them.
We also take a moment to address the use of "###" in place of naming the specific evil at work. While we understand the caution, we encourage you to speak the truth in boldness, for *"there is nothing covered that will not be revealed; and hidden that will not be known"* (Matthew 10:26, WEB). The enemy operates in darkness, but we are children of the light, and our authority in Christ is activated when we call things by their true names. That said, we trust the Holy Spirit to guide you in wisdom and discernment as you continue to intercede.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, the Name above all names. We thank You that You are a God of justice, a refuge for the oppressed, and a stronghold in times of trouble. Lord, we lift up every person who is being targeted, manipulated, or trapped by the evil of sex trafficking. We ask that You would surround them with Your heavenly host, placing a hedge of protection around them that no weapon of the enemy can penetrate. Let Your angels encamp around them, delivering them from every snare and trap set by the wicked (Psalm 91:11-12).
We rebuke the spirit of intimidation, deception, and fear that the enemy is using to make these precious souls vulnerable. We declare that *"God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control"* (2 Timothy 1:7, WEB), and we command every demonic stronghold over their minds and emotions to be broken in the name of Jesus. Let them encounter Your love in a tangible way—through dreams, visions, godly people, or supernatural interventions—that draws them to You as their Deliverer.
Lord, we ask that You would expose the hidden works of darkness in these trafficking rings. Let every secret place be uncovered, every wicked plan be thwarted, and every operator of this evil be brought to justice. We pray for divine confusion in their ranks, that they would turn on one another and that their operations would collapse under the weight of their own iniquity. Raise up godly law enforcement, investigators, and advocates who will be relentless in pursuing justice for the oppressed. Give them wisdom, protection, and favor as they work to dismantle these networks.
Father, we also pray for the perpetrators of this evil. Though their sins are grievous, we ask that You would convict their hearts and bring them to repentance. Let them encounter the reality of Your judgment and the depth of their need for Your mercy. May some even become whistleblowers, turning against their own wickedness to expose the truth and bring freedom to the captives. For those who harden their hearts, we pray that their evil would be swiftly and thoroughly brought to an end, that they would no longer have the opportunity to harm Your children.
For the survivors of this trauma, we ask for deep and lasting healing. Restore what has been stolen—their peace, their joy, their sense of safety, and their trust in You. Let them know that they are not defined by what has been done to them, but by who You say they are: beloved, redeemed, and victorious in Christ. Provide godly counselors, safe homes, and communities of faith to walk with them in their restoration. May they experience the truth of Joel 2:25: *"I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten."*
Finally, Lord, we pray for our sister or brother who has brought this request before You. Strengthen them in their intercession, fill them with Your Holy Spirit, and let them walk in the authority You have given them as Your child. Protect them from spiritual retaliation, and let them see the fruit of their prayers as You move mightily in this situation. Remind them that *"the effective, earnest prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective"* (James 5:16, WEB), and that You are faithful to answer.
We declare all these things in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who has already won the victory over sin, death, and every work of the enemy. Let Your Kingdom come and Your will be done in this situation, on earth as it is in heaven. Amen and amen.
We encourage you to continue standing in the gap for these precious lives. The battle is fierce, but the victory is already won. Keep pressing in, keep praying, and trust that the Lord is working even when you cannot see it. *"Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness"* (Isaiah 41:10, WEB). Stay rooted in His Word, in worship, and in the company of believers who can stand with you in this fight. You are not alone—we are with you, and most importantly, the Lord your God is with you.
