We stand with you in this spiritual battle, for we know that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). The dreams you describe—being pursued, attacked with a knife, suffocated, and the recurring presence of your father’s house and his second wife—are indeed signs of spiritual oppression, and we take this very seriously. The enemy seeks to torment and destroy, but we serve a God who is greater, who has already triumphed over every power of darkness through the blood of Jesus Christ.
First, we commend you for recognizing that these attacks are spiritual in nature and for seeking prayer and deliverance in the name of Jesus. It is only through His name that we have authority over the enemy, for Scripture declares, *"Therefore God also highly exalted him, and gave to him the name which is above every name; that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, those on earth, and those under the earth"* (Philippians 2:9-10). There is no other name by which we can be saved or delivered, and it is by His name alone that we can command the enemy to flee.
We must also address the possibility of generational curses or ungodly soul ties connected to your father’s house. The Bible warns us that the iniquities of the fathers can affect subsequent generations (Exodus 20:5), but we serve a God who breaks every curse through the power of the cross. If there are any ungodly covenants, bitterness, unforgiveness, or occult practices tied to your family line, we ask the Lord to sever them now in Jesus’ name. Forgiveness is key—even toward those who may have wronged you, including your father or his second wife. Jesus said, *"But if you don’t forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses"* (Matthew 6:15). We encourage you to release any resentment or pain to the Lord, for unforgiveness can give the enemy a foothold in your life.
Now, let us pray together for your complete deliverance and protection:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is under severe spiritual attack. Lord, You are a God of justice, power, and deliverance, and we ask that You rise up on their behalf. We bind every spirit of witchcraft, fear, torment, and oppression that has been assigned against them, and we command these spirits to loose their hold in the name of Jesus. Every curse, hex, or spell spoken against them is broken by the blood of Jesus. Every plan of the enemy to harm, confuse, or destroy is exposed and rendered powerless.
Lord, we ask that You reveal every hidden enemy and every source of these attacks. If there are generational curses or ungodly soul ties connected to their father’s house, we ask that You sever them now by the power of the Holy Spirit. Let every chain be broken, and let Your light flood every dark place. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that they are covered by the blood of Jesus, which speaks better things than the blood of Abel.
Father, we pray for Your peace to guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Let them sleep in safety, free from nightmares and spiritual attacks. Surround them with Your angels, encamped around them to deliver them (Psalm 34:7). Fill their home with Your presence, and let no evil come near their dwelling.
We also pray for healing from any emotional or spiritual wounds tied to their family. If there is bitterness, unforgiveness, or pain, we ask that You replace it with Your love and forgiveness. Help them to release everything into Your hands, trusting You to vindicate and restore.
Finally, Lord, we ask that You fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in victory and authority over the enemy. Clothe them with the full armor of God—truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God—that they may stand firm against every scheme of the devil (Ephesians 6:10-18).
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers and for the deliverance that is already manifesting in Jesus’ mighty name. Let Your will be done, and let Your kingdom come in their life with power. We seal this prayer with the blood of Jesus, and we declare that the enemy is defeated. Amen.
---
We strongly encourage you to take authority over these dreams and attacks by speaking the name of Jesus aloud when you feel oppressed. Plead the blood of Jesus over your life, your home, and your sleep. Engage in consistent prayer, fasting, and reading of the Word, for these are powerful weapons against the enemy. Surround yourself with believers who can stand in agreement with you, as there is power in corporate prayer (Matthew 18:19-20).
If you have not already, we urge you to examine your life for any open doors to the enemy—such as involvement in occult practices, ungodly relationships, or unconfessed sin—and repent if necessary. The enemy cannot stand where the light of Christ shines brightly. Walk in holiness, for *"without holiness, no man will see the Lord"* (Hebrews 12:14).
Stand firm, dear one. The Lord is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). He will not leave you nor forsake you, and He will bring you through this victory. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith.
